Following the nasty hit piece in the Tribune, is a disgusting photo-array of people showing off their masks. In almost all photos, the mask wearer is obese, including Father Altman's weasel bishop. Being obese is not a good thing if you don't want to be sick...any kind of sick.
So not only are you a racist pig, you don't care about your fellow humans if you refuse to wear a mask. You may count me among the racist, uncaring dangerous non-mask wearing evil deplorables.
We should also be demanding the vaccinated to require wearing a badge of "honor" declaring their stupidity. Why? Because we should stay as far away from those carriers of pestilence as possible.

Yesterday the pontificating beuroweenies at Panhandle Health re-issued a mask mandate - this time in the five northern counties of Idaho.
I will not wear a mask. Ever.
One of our local patriots, Casey Whelan, just posted a video of the complaints to the police department in Coeur d'Alene against businesses or individuals not wearing masks. Some of these calls were even made on the 911 line. Are you freak'n kidding me?
Different states and cities are putting in curfews since apparently you can only catch Wuflu between 10 pm and 5 am., and demanding you wear masks in your home.
On Wednesday I popped into Wallyworld and our local grocery store. I was shocked at how many people were wearing masks. I did have a nice conversation with an un-masked lady, probably in her late 80's, who had no problem saying, "It's all about fear and control" And another chat with a nice lady (also un-masked) in the frozen veggie aisle comparing our recipes for our home-made doggie food.
I have yet to encounter anyone being aggressive towards me due to my being unmasked. However, with this new mandate, I fear that may change. Am I to be forced to shop at 3 am in order to feel safe? The mask Nazis who attacked me on Costco Insider sounded pretty dang violent and unhinged.

Our local city council declined to order a mask mandate. Good thing too, since I would end up in jail.
In the future anyone who tries to speak to me while wearing a filthy mask will be told to back the heck up since I don't want them spewing their germs, which are passing happily through that rag, on to me. I suggest you do the same - politely, but firmly. If they persist, you have permission to call them selfish.
Folks, those rags are germy, foul, and nasty. As my friend, Ragin' Dave , calls them - germ sponges. This new rule does not apply to the poor employees who are forced to wear one since they've already suffered enough humiliation.

Everyone is seeking an alternative to Facecrap. I now have accounts at more than a few new social media sites. The site du jour is Parler. I think it stinks and is not to be trusted. I've been signed up there for over a year and suddenly I can't link my posts and get a message that my "url is restricted." The venerable Fran Porretto, over atLiberty's Torch, is also experiencing this.
The only new site that seems to work well for me is Codias and almost no one ever mentions it.
On a more personal level, the Coeur d'Alene city council has imposed a mask mandate. I learned this morning that Post Falls, where I live, Hayden, and Rathdrum (contiguous communities) are also considering such a move.
...A problem with mask mandates, be it Panhandle Health District's or Coeur d'Alene's, is its exemption policy, Rathdrum Mayor Vic Holmes said Wednesday. With the exemptions, Holmes sees the mandates as more of a visual appearance than practical implementation.

He also stated that it should be up to businesses to enforce. Really, Vic? That sounds like a threat to me.
This news gives new meaning to today's task of driving our ballots to the election office in Coeur d'Alene. Originally, we had planned on having a nice lunch somewhere to celebrate our votes for Trump, and running a few (very few) errands. Instead, we will probably take stock of our provisions and fill any gaps we may have (we've decided we have none.)

I go very few places anymore, and when I do, the number of people with filthy rags tied on their faces is shocking and appalling.
To be fair, I'm way less affected by all of this than many other people. Having a big part of my "social life" revolving around errand running had me thinking that maybe I should rethink how I interact with others.
I realized, after smacking myself upside the head, that how we live our lives should be our decision - not forced on us by a tyrannical government.

1. By making sure the thoughts we entertain are our own. Are we saying, “Trump’s an a—hole,” because the evidence is plentiful and we can cite the sources? Or have we just heard that said so often that that’s how we see him?
2. By consciously separating our emotions from our thinking. A thought has a rational basis -- emotional reactions do not. Thoughts fit together in non-contradictory ways -- emotions are all over the place. Fear is an emotion that, when nursed and allowed to boss us around, can be as deadly as any virus, especially this virus, which has an over 99% recovery rate.
3. By talking to people. I read the other day that 67% of Americans are afraid to express their political opinions. Of course we are -- people are getting fired, expelled, and ostracized for doing so. But here’s where we have to suck it up and do so anyway -- calmly (see #2) and kindly, but forcefully. Our president does this, and yes, the left hates him for it, but we all know he tells the truth and truth is the only thing that will hold our minds together. If we can’t tell the truth, we can’t avoid lying, and if we must continually lie, we can’t stay sane.
4. Speaking of truth, we hold onto our thoughts by connecting them always to our Creator, who is the author of truth. As all this evil swirls around us, we must remember that His goodness will prevail; it always does. If we can’t figure out what the truth is, we can know that He knows and is in control.
5. We can also counter the untruths by being more studious. We must learn history – our angry young people think slavery was an American invention and that only blacks were enslaved -- dangerous misunderstandings. But we can fix this by learning civics -- knowing our constitution; by learning science and knowing how off Darwinian theory really is; by learning what the Bible actually says, and not just what some false prophet claims it says.

I've been as busy as a flea at a dog park the past few days.
A trip to the emergency vet Sunday, where they now have a "transfer room." You hook your sick frightened pet to a leash in a tiny little room and leave before the tech enters to snatch up your sick pet. Weird and (IMO) unnecessary.
On Monday I had a scheduled visit to our regular vet. Same scenario at the vet, but done with more panache - which doesn't make it any less weird. Doggie is fine - his "mother" is worn out.

4. They wear you down
over time.
This is one of the insidious

there, a snide comment every so often...and then it starts ramping
up. Even the brightest, most self-aware people can be sucked into
gaslighting—it is that effective. It's the "frog in the frying pan"
analogy: The heat is turned up slowly, so the frog never realizes what's
happening to it.
5. Their actions do not
match their words.
When dealing with a person or
entity that gaslights, look at what they are doing rather than what they are
saying. What they are
saying means nothing; it is just talk. What they are doing is the issue.
6. They throw in positive reinforcement
to confuse you.
This person or entity that is cutting you down, telling
you that you don't have value, is now praising you for something you did. This
adds an additional sense of uneasiness. You think, "Well maybe they aren't
so bad." Yes, they are. This is a calculated attempt to keep you
off-kilter—and again, to question your reality. Also look at what you were
praised for; it is probably something that served the gaslighter.
7. They know confusion weakens people.
Gaslighters know that people
like having a sense of stability and normalcy. Their goal is to uproot this and
make you constantly question everything. And humans' natural tendency is
to look to the person or entity that will help you feel more stable—and
that happens to be the gaslighter.
8. They project.
They are a drug user or a
cheater, yet they are constantly accusing you of that. This is done so often
that you start trying to defend yourself, and are distracted from the
gaslighter's own behavior.
9. They try to align
people against you.
Gaslighters are masters at
manipulating and finding the people they know will stand by them no matter
what—and they use these people against you. They will make comments such as,
"This person knows that you're not right," or "This person
knows you're useless too." Keep in mind it does not mean that these people
actually said these things. A gaslighter is a constant liar. When the gaslighter uses
this tactic it makes you feel like you don't know who to trust or turn
to—and that leads you right back to the gaslighter. And that's exactly what
they want: Isolation gives them more control.
10. They tell you or others that you are
crazy.
This is one of the most
effective tools of the gaslighter, because it's dismissive. The gaslighter
knows if they question your sanity, people will not believe you when you
tell them the gaslighter is abusive or out-of-control. It's a master technique.
11. They tell you
everyone else is a liar.
By telling you that everyone
else (your family, the media) is a liar, it again makes you question your
reality. You've never known someone with the audacity to do this, so they must
be telling the truth, right? No. It's a manipulation technique. It makes people
turn to the gaslighter for the "correct" information—which isn't
correct information at all.

Tucker on BLM and how people are caving to this "movement." He also notes the number of people who are losing their jobs and are being ostracized for not taking a knee to these group of ignorant, arrogant, and racist malcontents.
But, know this - for the few people who are making the news for speaking out, there is 10K who are lying in the weeds because they have a family to feed and can't lose their job. These people will show up in November and vote Donald J. Trump to a second term of president of the United States.
What to do?
Take a break from the "news." Take some time to write in a journal, plan your day, read something uplifting, and most of all - pray.
I'll be checking out shortly after posting this. I'll pop in ever so often to join the conversation, but for the most part I'll be doing much more important things than having my mind poisoned by lies.
