How about a little Costco update rant? I hit up Costco yesterday (Wed.) to cash in my rewards check and cancel my membership. I actually donned a mask - the only time I've done so in this entire ridiculous mask mandating time only because Costco has become one of those country major mask nazis. I really wanted my $541.00 with as little fuss as possible.
I hopped in the customer service line, and was about 4 feet behind the woman in front of me. She turned around and said, "Aren't you supposed to be 6 feet away from me?"
After just staring at her for a moment or two, I pulled down my mask and said, in my best Catholic school girl manner, "Idiot!"
She displayed virtual signaling shock to which I said, "Yes - you heard me right."
She then suggested that maybe I shouldn't be shopping there. Bingo, you bit*h. That's the plan.
And there in, my sweet petunias, is the main reason I won't be shopping there, staying 6 feet away from the elitist sheeple who are crammed into that warehouse. It looks like a TB ward with hundreds of masked up germ spreaders.
After I left with my $541.00 rewards cash, I had a lovely time at the Carpet Warehouse picking out new flooring for my bathroom, Grocery Outlet, where I snagged a bunch of cute sunglasses and other cool stuff, Super 1 Foods for 98 cent per pound asparagus, and Ace Hardware for paint. In none of the following venues was a mask required and more than half the peeps were free and unmasked.

When there are enough observable changes, such as cases dropping and the threat levels of community spread sharply falling. When that happens, medical experts can redetermine the need for mask-wearing. However, it could be well into 2021 before that happens.

Oh, hell noes! Now all they have to do is don a rag on their face proclaiming to the world they are better, more compassionate, more selfless, and more scientifically minded than you maskless uncaring, selfish, and stupid people.
If this seems like a small issue to be harping on, you would be mistaken. The lockdowns, bankrupting thousands of small businesses, our religious liberties trampled, children no longer able to attend school (not all bad if mom and dad step up to some quality homeschooling), and the forced mask wearing is all something you can do something about.
It's become a full time job to keep up with the election lawsuits and the testimony of fraud and not one I'm willing to spend my time perusing. We have the larger sites to keep us informed of the current goings on and it will either be resolved honestly with Donald J. I can do something about the tyranny being imposed on the citizens of this country, and so can you. Whenever possible I shop locally which in my case is the locally owned grocery store, local butchers, and our Ace Hardware.
I also refuse to wear a mask and have yet to encounter an obstacle. If a business demands a mask, I don't shop there. And not one other customer has challenged me. My resting bitch face must have been honed to perfection as the zombies leave me alone.

Back in October I purchased the Instant Pot Duo Crisp Pressure Cooker 11 in 1, 8 Qt with Air Fryer, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate and more. I already have a 6 qt (which is my most used appliance), but they had a super deal so I took the plunge. The 8 qt pressure cooker would be handy for larger cuts of meat, turkey breasts, or whole chickens. I was not too sure about the air fryer part since the idea of low fat is not high on my radar, but, what the heck, I'd take it as a bonus.
However, French fries are high on my list of indulgences. Well, I can tell you, a Yukon Gold potato cut into fries, soaked in cool water for 30 minutes or so, dried off and tossed with olive oil and your choice of seasonings, and in the air fryer for about 20 minutes is the bee's knees.

The one thing I've learned about air fryers is pre-heating is necessary to keep stuff from sticking. And, doing stuff like fish sticks and eggrolls (store bought) is really simpler in your convection oven. If you don't have a convection oven and don't want to heat up your big oven, the air fryer would be the best way and a great addition to your kitchen.

Every month, in spite of the vast majority of commenters complaining about having difficulty accessing the coupon book, I always thanked them for providing this at no cost.

I had to start my day by reading on Breitbart News about the atrocious arrest at a prayer gathering in Moscow, Idaho, about 90 miles south of where I live in Post Falls, Idaho.
Officers arrested Gabriel Rench, Rachel Bohnet, and Sean Bohnet, according to Moscow Report, a local independent news outlet. A video uploaded to social media shows Bohnet, a local music teacher, and his wife telling officers they refused to comply with an inaudible order. Moscow Report says the apparent infraction is that they refused to show identification.
Rench is a co-host of CrossPolitic, a Christian political talk show, and a candidate for county commissioner. “You guys should not be doing this,” he told officers as they walked him to a squad car. “And doing this kind of crap for the mayor, this is embarrassing. You guys are stronger than this.”
You don't need a masters in political science to know this arrest was politically motivated. Rench is running for county commissioner, a job that carries quite a bit of clout. Obviously, the mayor of Moscow, Bill Lambert, a mask Nazi, is an enemy.
Rench is running on "faith, family, and freedom." Yeah - good luck with that message in Moscow, Gabriel.
Moscow is a charming college town of about 25K people, but it leans way left as most college towns do. The mayor has imposed a mask mandate through January 5th, 2021 - which is an absolute absurdity.

With hubby's birthday tomorrow, he is being treated to a trip to our new and highly rated India House Restaurant. The fact that I get to tag along, and eat what has been described as fabulous food and wonderful service, is a bonus.
While out running errands yesterday, I was shocked to still see people with filthy rags tied on their faces. Some of the rags were just that - rags flapping in the breeze doing absolutely nothing but making the person wearing it look stupid.
At the ATT store, where they no longer ask you to put on a mask of oppression, the staff is still wearing them. I had a bit of a wait and was able to witness the staff touching, adjusting, pulling it down and then up (sort of like a cat at a door), approximately every minute or two.
I saw little children in many stores with rags tied on their faces. Who in hell does that to a kid?
I saw people hang their masks on the rear view mirror in their cars between stops. Do these people not realize the steering wheel in their car is a petri dish of bacteria? How many of those dunces are going to drive through some fast food place and proceed to eat food in their filthy car?
Was mail in voting, which is not the same as absentee voting, the goal? I don't think so, but as Rahm Emanuel said, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

Yesterday, I started my day by visiting the dentist where I had to hang out in the parking lot until my hygienist came out to fetch me. I don't blame the dentist, as they have to worry about litigation by some outraged mask Nazi. But, it is still weird.
I also made a trip to Costco. It was only the second time in 4 months. To avoid any possible conflict, my visit was later in the evening - about 6:30 pm.
I was forced by the lady at the door to actually say "medical" when I said I couldn't wear a mask. I've decided that is not a lie since wearing a filthy rag is inherently unhealthy.
By this time I was annoyed. My days are long and I work very hard. Instead of kicking back and enjoying a bit of quiet time in the evening, I was "forced" to head out to a store.
Every single person in that warehouse was wearing some sort of rag on their face. My favorite was the crocheted one using sparkly yarn. Nothing like making a fashion statement while wearing a mask with big-assed holes. Or the dudes with bandannas tied on their faces. It was like shopping with a bunch of Jesse James wannabes.
I was the only unmasked person.
So I set my internal GPS, kept my eyes forward, completed my perfectly organized list in record time, and got the hell out of that dystopian nightmare called a "store". This is not how we're supposed to live.
This is North Idaho, one of the so-called reddest areas of the country, and yet I see people riding alone inside their cars all masked up.
Are these same people going to line up for some dangerous fake vaccine in short order? Probably.
The work of Satan is to sow fear and division. I'd say his plan is working damn well, when people are willing to walk around with a filthy petri-dish of bacteria strapped on their faces when the temperature is 98°.
The time for complacency is over. It's time to take a stand and fight for freedom. It is up to each and every one of us to do this. Take that rag off your face and don't call it, as a Costco employee said to me. "A small thing." It is not a small thing.
Pullman Police to start enforcing mask mandate with fines, possible jail time
(Pullman is two hours from Coeur d'Alene)
PULLMAN, Wash. — The statewide mask mandate has been in effect for weeks and, though it has always been punishable by fines and jail time, police departments have said they will enforce it through education.
On Wednesday, the Pullman Police Department sent a press release stating officers will begin enforcing the mandate with more than just a warning.
People found violating Governor Jay Inslee’s proclamation, requiring face masks and social distancing, will receive a gross misdemeanor that could result in a fine of up to $5,000 and/or a year in jail.
Those found violating a local or State Board of Health order could face a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $100 and/or three months in jail.
People allowing a party or gathering with attendees not wearing face masks or practicing social distancing could face a Class 2 Civil infraction punishable by a $250 fine and a $350 fine for subsequent violations. This also applies for people who hold gatherings with more than 10 people present.
Additionally, people who fail to leave a party or gathering can be charged with a misdemeanor that could result in a $100 fine or three months in jail.
PPD said any violations involving Washington State University students will be reported to the WSU Center for Community Standards and the university may take action.
