He then accuses adoptive parents of black kids of being racist for adopting black kids so they can claim anti-racism. Did I get that about right?

He wrote a very popular book, How to be An Antiracist, wherein he claims there's a whole passel of bad policy that "keeps the brother down."
He claims "denial is the heartbeat of racism." If you deny being a racist, that just proves you are. It's one of the reasons I never deny being racist to anyone.
So listen up all you racist white people - according to Kendi you must constantly monitor yourself for any nasty little racist thought and smack yourself upside the head daily.
Here's some advice for this "educated beyond his intelligence" mook about "persistent self-awareness, constant self-criticism, and regular self-examination."
Stop seeing everything through the lens of race.
Stop playing the victim.
Stop blaming people from another race for any and all failures suffered by black people.

I remember when Starbucks first opened in little ol' Post Falls. I thought it was sort of cool. All those plush burgundy lounge chairs and people with laptops looking important.
Then one day I was in there and some little gal with her laptop cradled on her lap (well - it is a laptop after all) had pulled her Birkenstock clad feet up and planted them on the chair. What the hell? Her filthy shoes were on the fabric covered chair. Ewwww. Obviously she wasn't the only one because within a year those lovely plush chairs looked like curb side give aways.
Next I noticed that people were not speaking to each other. I'm accustomed to chit-chatting with peeps, but Starbucks customers were not interested in human contact.
After finding out the calorie count on most of their fancy drinks, I opted for a plain coffee. It was awful. Burnt black and tasting a bit like coffee that had been reheated a gazillion times.
I won't even get into the amount of money daily Starbucks customers are flushing down the toilet on a yearly basis. We're talking thousands here.
If you like Starbucks feel free to go there. But when I find myself out and about and in want of a coffee, I head for a gas station where not only is the coffee good, it's also cheap, and there are peeps to talk with.
And for you employees having to put up with this? If you need your job, just nod and go along with the bullshit. Tomorrow you can all have a good laugh at work.
Our library books are checked out for a month, with renewal possible for another month if the book is not on hold. Unfortunately, this book is on hold. Even though I have a ten day grace period, one simply does not keep a book when there is another person waiting to read it.
And while we're talking about library books, under no circumstances should you ever fold a page. Never, ever!

Finally - a Question Answered
Since the beginning the meme of "Donald Trump is a racist", which continues to this day, has made me wonder how this falsehood got started.
I now have my answer.

On June 17th, Dylann Roof entered a church in Charleston, SC, and murdered nine black people. That was all Hillary Clinton needed to accuse Trump of triggering a completely off-the-wall crazy person to commit a crime - and the MSM gathered it up in their fake lying little arms, as though it was a football blessed by God, and scamper down the field for a touchdown. And there, my dear friends, is the genesis of the stupid racist meme.

This coming Wednesday is not only St. Valentine's Day, but also Ash Wednesday, signalling the beginning of the 40 days of Lent. Some people find this amusing. I do not.

The reason I often focus in on the St. Paul/Minneapolis area is because I was born and raised in St. Paul. It used to be a lovely place to raise children and thrive financially. I moved to Houston, TX when I was 17, and briefly moved back to Minneapolis in my early thirties. I lived in the "transitional" neighborhood of Loring Park where I often had to side-step the hookers when I left for work. I was also the victim of a brutal mugging by a black man just blocks from my apartment.
I left Minnesota the first time when LBJ was starting his "war on poverty." Any black people I knew of before I moved were families with a mother and father raising kids the best they could. By the time I returned, it was clear where the the future of the black family was headed.
That being said, let's take a quick gander at the CBSMinnesota article that had me rolling my eyes:

The Brothers and Fathers Institute held a conference to raise
awareness meant to focus on the positive role young people can have in

Young men of color in Minneapolis are now part of the conversation
geared at making sure they have what it takes to make a positive impact in
the community.
Betsy Hodges signed on to President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Initiative, a program designed to help more young men of color stay on track.
“It was really clear to me from day one as mayor that our city depends on our young people of color doing well,” she said.
The gathering of Brothers and Fathers at the Humphrey Institute is proof the initiative is taking hold here in Minneapolis.
Isaiah Hudson works with the mayor to help prevent youth
violence. The 18-year-old spends time with 3rd and 5th graders in the
YMCA’s Beacon program.
“I had a mentor when I was younger,” Hudson said. “I’m taking my
mentors’ spot and trying to help my mentees so I feel good. It makes me
feel real good because I feel like I’m giving back.”
Hudson wants to erase the negative image some people have of guys who look like him.
“If you see a boy like me, with a baseball cap, baggy pants: ‘He’s
probably a drug dealer or a gang banger or something like that,'” Hudson
said. “That’s not always the case.”
He hopes the website and posting of the work done by young black men
will help inspire others to help make the city a better place for
everyone.
St. Paul is also involved with the initiative and has also launched a
website where people are encouraged to post positive stories of young
people in the community.
Here's the real message of this article:
If whitey would quit reporting stories of feral black youths attacking white people, looting, and destroying property, the young black people would pull up their pants and act in a way consistent with polite society.
It's okay to dress like a thug and all the rest of us are not supposed to use common sense in avoiding them.
We're going to maintain a website telling the feral black youth how wonderful they are because if we build their self-esteem, they'll shun the thug culture. No never mind that most of them are functionally illiterate, which is also somehow the fault of everyone except themselves.
The Twin Cities has a long history of not reporting black crime - or, at least, calling it what it is. They're the masters of reporting on teens, youths, young people, and any other word they possibly come up with, to not have to say "black."

Gang related? They fail to mention that the gangs are black. The same black people who ride the shiny new light rail downtown to the Nicollet Mall to cause mayhem like they did on St. Patrick's Day. StarTrib referred to them as young people and teens.
In Muskegon, Michigan, a gaggle of black girls engage in a brawl and one of them runs over her rival which is caught on video (if you can stand to watch it.)
And a lady in Pennsylvania dared to tell some "teen" girls to be quiet during a movie and her reward was to get the snot beat out of her.
I could go on and on, but I have plans for today.
Anyone who dares tell the truth is immediately carpet-bombed with accusations of racism, being a hater, and a right-wing religious zealot. Don't fall for it.
The truth is:
The majority of blacks are doing the best they can. How many of these "youths" are the product of fatherless homes and drug-addled mothers? It should be clear to anyone watching any of these videos that we are not dealing with people who are even remotely qualified to live in society.
Any city or neighborhood that becomes predominantly black ends up in ruins, while white people are blamed because of our "privilege."
While they segregate themselves in ghettos of their own making, we are forced to fund their aberrant life styles. If you live in a large city that is promoting light rail, enabling them to invade your neighborhood, escape is no longer possible. The ghetto will come to you.

This zany idea of Starbucks wanting their employees to talk about race relations is, well, zany, and not going to end well.
If you happen to be in a Starbucks, my first question is; "Why?" I don't "do" Starbucks because the coffee is overpriced, not very good, and I can never remember the difference between a grande and a venti. Our local grocery stores have coffee every bit as good for a quarter of the price and if you want something sweet, the donuts are a steal. Besides, being a simple soul, I can handle, "Do you want a 12oz or a 16oz?"
Let's assume you're a Starbucks' lover. That's okay. Last I checked it was still somewhat of a free country and I won't publicly shame you. Your barista wants to talk about race with you. Ask them their opinion about the following - presented without comment.
Police
have announced charges against two 15-year-old boys in the murder of
James Stuhlman, who was shot and killed while walking his dog in
Philadelphia's Overbrook section last week.
One of those boys remains at large, and is considered by police to be armed and dangerous.
Police say they have in custody 15-year-old Brandon Smith. He has been charged with murder, robbery and related charges.
A warrant has been issued for 15-year-old Tyfine Hamilton - the alleged gunman.
Hamilton is also charged with murder, robbery, and related offenses.
Lesser charges are expected to be filed against a third boy, who is 14-years-old.

I just had the unpleasant experience of listening to Sean Hannity display very little outrage over the alleged anti-black comments of the Clippers owner, Donald Sterling. Last week he was turning cartwheels over Cliven Bundy who had the temerity to speak the truth.
Doesn't take long to figure this one out. Hannity was a supporter of Bundy, but claims he didn't even know who Sterling was. Yeppers - no guilt by association on Sterling so we can dial down the rhetoric. He did throw out one "despicable" to solidify his anti-racist stance for the world.
Despicable is a word I would hold in reserve for people who really are despicable. Donald Sterling's "private" comments are a long way from despicable - they're just, in my opinion, stupid.
Most importantly, he has a right to those opinions.
Exactly why I am supposed to care that he told his overly, surgically altered and very weird looking girlfriend to not bring black people around his house or the Clipper games? It seems she taped all those comments and slipped the tape to TMZ.
Oh, and by the way, he's still married to his wife so that makes him an adulterer as well as an old fool. The fact that the family is suing the aforementioned concubine for
embezzling 2 million dollars from them may have something to do with her
allegedly turning over the tape of Sterling's comments to TMZ.
This is supposed to be the United States of America, and he has the right to say what he said and to hold those opinions. You see, no one was harmed in the making of those comments. No one suffered anything more than our new national pastime of "being offended."
I'm a hell of lot more offended and outraged by the things the sock-puppet and his commie cohorts are doing in DC than I am by some silly crap spewing forth from an old man who has to purchase attention from some gold digger.
It seems that people have called for forcing Sterling to sell the Clippers.

The fact that there are people in this country who, when "offended" by something someone said, that person is to be destroyed at all costs, is ominous.
