You simply can't have too many screw drivers (or scissors.) Yeah, I know it's all Chinese stuff, but so is most of the stuff in our locally owned Ace.

They have a utility scissor that I simply must have.  And a machete.  Everyone needs a machete!

First, and in my opinion the most important, is to continue to educate yourself on the "vaccine" the MSM is ramming down your throat. Now you're not only selfish for not wearing a filthy rag on your face, you owe it to everyone to allow an untested substance to be injected into your body.

By now, I'm sure you know how I feel, but take a gander at what the CDC has to say:

It's exactly what I predicted; people who die after having the vaccine will never be listed as having died from the vaccine. No siree. It's perfectly safe.  Yet the guy who was thrown off his motorcycle and bounced 100 feet down the highway died of Wuflu. Everyone died of Wuflu.  No more cancer, heart attacks, strokes, or even the flu. It's a gosh-darn miricle!

Is all this time consuming?  You bet it is. But you're making a decision which will probably affect the rest of your life.  It's best to choose wisely.

Moving Forward

Kurt Schlichter has a rather uplifting post, The Cons Are Alright (cons = conservative.) It sort up backs up what I've been saying about this not being The Great Reset, but The Great Awakening.

Last Saturday, we had a town hall with all our local representatives in attendance. The room was packed with over 450 informed citizens asking the tough questions, and being updated about upcoming bills still in committee. It's all about local, my precious poodles. Get informed and involved.

Emergency Binder

If you don't already have an emergency binder, it's time to get busy and make one.  A binder containing all your most important information which can be accessed by other family members. A binder is easily picked up and taken with you in case of an emergency.  It is also easy to conceal in plain sight.  For heaven's sake - do not plaster it with all the cute print outs available on mommy sites. 

An Emergency Binder should at the very least include personal information for everyone in your family, financial account information including auto-pay and pending transactions, usernames and passwords for online accounts, emergency contacts, and legal documents (or instructions for where to find legal documents). In addition to instructions for where to find legal documents, I would add where to find anything you've carefully (I hope) hidden - cash, jewelry, etc. I know if I bought the ranch tomorrow, my hubby would have no clue where my jewelry is (well) hidden.

I'm also aware that Dr. Tenpenny is  an anti-vaxxer and I kept that in mind while listening to her. With my mother's background on the organizational side of medicine and my limited medical training, nothing she said made the needle on my spidey sense-o-meter quiver. 

I know there's a lot of information being spewed out in this post. If you're struggling with making a decision which could affect your life, I think you need to give it a bit of attention.

How about a little Costco update rant?  I hit up Costco yesterday (Wed.) to cash in my rewards check and cancel my membership. I actually donned a mask - the only time I've done so in this entire ridiculous mask mandating time only because Costco has become one of those country major mask nazis.  I really wanted my $541.00 with as little fuss as possible. 

 I hopped in the customer service line, and was about 4 feet behind the woman in front of me. She turned around and said, "Aren't you supposed to be 6 feet away from me?" 

After just staring at her for a moment or two, I pulled down my mask and said, in my best Catholic school girl manner, "Idiot!" 

She displayed virtual signaling shock to which I said, "Yes - you heard me right." 

She then suggested that maybe I shouldn't be shopping there. Bingo, you bit*h. That's the plan.

And there in, my sweet petunias, is the main reason I won't be shopping there, staying 6 feet away from the elitist sheeple who are crammed into that warehouse.  It looks like a TB ward with hundreds of masked up germ spreaders.

After I left with my $541.00 rewards cash, I had a lovely time at the Carpet Warehouse picking out new flooring for my bathroom, Grocery Outlet, where I snagged a bunch of cute sunglasses and other cool stuff, Super 1 Foods for 98 cent per pound asparagus, and Ace Hardware for paint.  In none of the following venues was a mask required and more than half the peeps were free and unmasked.

While I find the slogan-touting, meme-spreading idiocy of the commie/libtards, who don't have an independent thought of their own borderline-amusing, it's the "go-along-to-get-along" crowd who I find most frightening.

A goodly portion of these wimpy people think they're conservatives. They may have even voted for Donald Trump. But when the excrement starts flying, they run and hide.  If they see a fellow citizen being harassed or assaulted, they turn their back and flee. 

I'm shocked and saddened at seeing free people living in North Idaho, with admittedly few mandates and restrictions, march around the grocery store and Wally-World with filthy rags tied on their faces. These same people go along with churches being locked down, people losing their businesses and livelihoods, while the big corporations are raking in the money.  

These are the people who are the most dangerous. These are the people who will turn in their neighbor for having more than six people in their home for a Bible study. These are the people who, in an effort to keep themselves "safe", will turn their back on someone being assaulted for not wearing a mask. These are the people who will "sing a little louder" when the trains full of screaming Jews chug past them.

In all filmed instances of a person being assailed by a store employee or another customer for the crime of going maskless, no one steps in to defend them.  It doesn't mean it's never happened, but I've not seen it.

Is being an overweight rude slob a job requirement at Winco?  

The old man checking out behind her has his potatoes knocked to the floor in the scuffle with the person filming.  He's most definitely at the age, or close to the age, to remember WW II, so he has intimate knowledge of the German death camps.  And yet he stands there doing his studious best to pretend there is nothing untoward going on behind him.  What the hell??? 

I Now Better Understand the "Good German"

As my listeners and readers can hopefully attest, I have been on a lifelong quest to understand human nature and human behavior. I am sad to report that I have learned more in the last few years, particularly in 2020, than in any equivalent period of time.

One of the biggest revelations concerns a question that has always plagued me: How does one explain the “good German,” the term used to describe the average, presumably decent German, who did nothing to hurt Jews but also did nothing to help them and did nothing to undermine the Nazi regime? The same question could be asked about the average Frenchman during the Vichy era, the average Russian under Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Leonid Brezhnev and their successors, and the millions of others who did nothing to help their fellow citizens under oppressive dictatorships.

These past few years have taught me not to so quickly judge the quiet German, Russian, etc. Of course, I still judge Germans who helped the Nazis and Germans who in any way hurt Jews. But the Germans who did nothing? Not so fast.

What has changed my thinking has been watching what is happening in America (and Canada and Australia and elsewhere, for that matter). The ease with which tens of millions of Americans have accepted irrational, unconstitutional and unprecedented police state-type restrictions on their freedoms, including even the freedom to make a living, has been, to understate the case, sobering. read the rest

In my opinion, they are, and are being driven my an irrational fear pounded into their heads by people who are not to be trusted.  Seriously - would you want Bill Gates or creepy Fauci baby sitting your kids? I didn't think so.

I'm not a virologist, scientist, medical doctor, or even a nurse. I had planned on being a nurse, and started college with that career in mind.  My first semester in anatomy and physiology was spent exclusively on RNA and DNA, so I know just enough to not cloud my common sense.

When I heard the Wuflu vaccine was built on mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid), my spidey sense blew past the red zone into the WThell? zone.

Think getting vaccinated will make things return to pre-Wuflu normalcy?  Do you really think the elites are going to give up the power to oppress they've unleashed on the compliant and cowed citizenry?  Nope!

When there are enough observable changes, such as cases dropping and the threat levels of community spread sharply falling. When that happens, medical experts can redetermine the need for mask-wearing. However, it could be well into 2021 before that happens.

I'll let this nice gentleman explain it to you, since I don't know the subject well enough to explain it in simple terms.

Yesterday, David Horowitz posted an essay at Powerline.  It was powerful enough for Rush to read today on his show. I've read just about all of Horowitz's books. I like them all, but my favorite is Radical Son*, which points out the incredibly ugly under belly of communism - up to and including murder.  He has a new book coming out from Regnery next April titled The Enemy Within: How A Totalitarian Movement is Destroying America. You can be sure it will be on my reading list.

The Beuroweenies are Putting Our Safety at Risk...

Yesterday the pontificating beuroweenies at Panhandle Health re-issued a mask mandate - this time in the five northern counties of Idaho.

I will not wear a mask. Ever.

One of our local patriots, Casey Whelan, just posted a video of the complaints to the police department in Coeur d'Alene against businesses or individuals not wearing masks. Some of these calls were even made on the 911 line. Are you freak'n kidding me? 

Different states and cities are putting in curfews since apparently you can only catch Wuflu between 10 pm and 5 am., and demanding you wear masks in your home.  

On Wednesday I popped into Wallyworld and our local grocery store.  I was shocked at how many people were wearing masks. I did have a nice conversation with an un-masked lady, probably in her late 80's, who had no problem saying, "It's all about fear and control"  And another chat with a nice lady (also un-masked) in the frozen veggie aisle comparing our recipes for our home-made doggie food. 

I have yet to encounter anyone being aggressive towards me due to my being unmasked.  However, with this new mandate, I fear that may change. Am I to be forced to shop at 3 am in order to feel safe? The mask Nazis who attacked me on Costco Insider sounded pretty dang violent and unhinged.

 Before we start let me say all things election 2020 are really popping today.  It's almost impossible to keep up.  Not only has the Kraken been released, it's mighty pissed off. 

Story time again:

Years ago, when my mother worked at a large hospital in the Houston Medical Center, eventually rising to assistant hospital director, it was common knowledge that she could take impeccable shorthand.

When the directors of the hospital, most of whom were doctors, had a board meeting they would have my mom take the meeting down in shorthand eschewing recording devices.

They knew that having multiple recordings of sensitive material floating about could be dangerous and could incur all sorts of problems - including blackmail or libel issues.  Besides, if a problem arose they only had to kill one person (my mom) rather than a whole bunch of peeps (only kiiidding - sort of)

It is with continued amazement that today people spew their guts in emails, post terrible stuff on Facecrap, and make videos where they threaten bodily harm - often to an elected official. Now we have the added fun of watching people incriminate themselves on live streamed goofy Zoom meetings, like the mook in the following clip. 

Being of half Southern Italian heritage (Calabrese), and with more than a passing knowledge of Mafia and other criminal entities, such things fall under Omertà - a code of silence about criminal activity and refusal to cooperate with authorities. Included in that code is not keeping written or recorded records of criminal activity.  The concept is so ingrained in me that I get sweaty just writing "love" at the end of a letter for fear it will come back to haunt me one day. 

Who can ever forget Anthony Weiner sending pics of his male member to underage girls - or any of the so-called "dick-pics."  Or people filming themselves having sex and doing illegal drugs - we're looking at you Hunter!

A Sad Decision: Costco has been kicked to the curb...

 buh bye.

This is a decision which has been coming for many, many months, and one I was very reluctant to instigate.

Having worked for Costco way back, when it was one of the very best places to work, seeing what it has become is painful and sad.

I ran into an old work mate of mine who has been with the company for about 25 years.  His comment to me? "It's not the same place anymore. It's all corporate run." He's just biding his time until he can retire in a few years.

What did Costco do to tick me off so badly?

When Costco automatically renews my membership, I will cancel and my membership fee will be returned, and the Visa card will be history.

The American Express card is actually a better deal, and other than maybe tuna, there is nothing at Costco I can't get somewhere else. 

For decades, a trip to Costco was a fun and happy event for me. Over the past 6 months, it's spiraled down into a nervous-making foray into zombie land. Rather than every week or two, I've only been there 3, or maybe 4 times, in 8 months. 

So - it's the end of an era, folks.

All sorts of things are changing for all of us. It's up to us to find replacements that are better and more fulfilling. It's not just shopping, but also trips to the library, our favorite coffee shop or restaurants, and our favorite small shops which have gone bankrupt due to lock downs. 

Let's put our heads together and figure out what things should replace what we have lost. Please give me your ideas. 

I'll start:

• Dinner parties
• Tea parties for the ladies
• Bible study
• Artistic endeavors i.e. sewing, painting, woodworking, jewelry making
• Board games
• BBQ's with the neighbors
• Card games (I love gin rummy. Bridge - not so much)
• Going for walks and hikes
• Camping
• Picnics
• Write a real letter 
• Learn to play an instrument
• Learn a new language (Chinese might come in handy - heh)
• Learn to cook a new dish
• Work in the garden
• Journal and pray every morning!

Notice how many of them are social. Humans are social animals and what the government is doing is dehumanizing and an effort to break your spirit.  Don't let them win.

If you click on his name there is no info on him, but his first article for AT was back in 2009.

About Mask Mandates

Our local city council declined to order a mask mandate. Good thing too, since I would end up in jail.

In the future anyone who tries to speak to me while wearing a filthy mask will be told to back the heck up since I don't want them spewing their germs, which are passing happily through that rag, on to me.  I suggest you do the same - politely, but firmly.  If they persist, you have permission to call them selfish.

  Folks, those rags are germy, foul, and nasty. As my friend, Ragin' Dave , calls them - germ sponges.  This new rule does not apply to the poor employees who are forced to wear one since they've already suffered enough humiliation.

On a more personal level, the Coeur d'Alene city council has imposed a mask mandate. I learned this morning that Post Falls, where I live, Hayden, and Rathdrum (contiguous communities) are also considering such a move.

...A problem with mask mandates, be it Panhandle Health District's or Coeur d'Alene's, is its exemption policy, Rathdrum Mayor Vic Holmes said Wednesday. With the exemptions, Holmes sees the mandates as more of a visual appearance than practical implementation.

"With Panhandle Health District's mandate, once you allow people to not wear masks for medical reasons, it becomes unenforceable," he said. "If someone doesn't want to wear a mask, they can say it's because of a medical condition, and you can't ask them to prove that, so really it exempts everyone." source Cd'A Press

He also stated that it should be up to businesses to enforce. Really, Vic? That sounds like a threat to me.

This news gives new meaning to today's task of driving our ballots to the election office in Coeur d'Alene. Originally, we had planned on having a nice lunch somewhere to celebrate our votes for Trump, and running a few (very few) errands. Instead, we will probably take stock of our provisions and fill any gaps we may have (we've decided we have none.) 

If this sort of crap is happening in one the reddest areas of the country, no one is safe from the evil tentacles of the commie/libtards.

Freedom Fest - Before thousands arrived

After spending some time at our local Freedom Fest, surrounded by like-minded people enjoying  a beautiful autumn day, we headed to our local Regal Cinema to see Infidel. Our preference was to see it at our locally owned independent theater, but it only showed for two days there, and we missed our opportunity to support Hayden Discount Theater. (Update: just discovered Infidel will be playing at HDT through Thursday.)

When we arrived at Regal Riverstone, they were setting up their mask table in front. I approached the nice young people charged with dealing with the public, and said that neither my husband or myself was allowed to wear a mask.  The young lady was only able to say, "Unfortunately", before I said, "Thank you, we're gone."

Is it about the masks?

Absolutely not.

Here's what's really going on.

I'm well aware there will be peripheral blow back; thousands of people losing their jobs and businesses, who rely in part on the movie crowd to support them such as restaurants and other venues around the theater. I feel badly for these people.

However, (always pay attention to what follows "however" or "but") this scamdemic has opened the eyes of untold millions of people to certain facts. Most important is we don't need you. We don't need your over-priced immoral Hollywood dreck to entertain us. 

We don't need to shell out our hard earned money to fund the arrogant and ignorant  movie "stars" who pay us back by calling us stupid "unwoke" dregs of society and wishing death on the president of the United States.

Nor do we need to fund the lifestyles of people like comedian Chris Rock who mocked Donald Trump during his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live saying, "My heart goes out to COVID", following the president's diagnosis.

We've discovered that real wholesome family entertainment can be had for the cost of gas to get us to a local park, a lake to fish in, a hike in the woods, a Sunday family get together, or a Freedom Fest like we enjoyed yesterday.

We've also discovered substitutes for businesses who have become "mask nazis." Just yesterday, I thought about making a trek to Michaels for some dark blue flowers for a wreath I'm updating. I'm pretty sure they're mask nazis, which sent me to Amazon where I secured the needed flowers.  Say what you will about Bezos, but right now, Amazon is providing a needed service. It led me to think maybe Bezos was behind the scandemic.  

Netflix

Cancellations of Netflix increased eight-fold when they released "Cuties", a semi-pornographic movie exploiting young girls playing the lead parts. For more about Cuties, see the link below in the "More" section. 

Made no difference.  The graphic movie still rose to number four in their viewership. If you still have a subscription to Netflix, you are part of the problem. Cancel it and find a more wholesome way to spend your time.

Adding to the dystopian world we now unwillingly live in, the evil crazy greenies in California, Washington, and Oregon, who are directly responsible for the out of control wild fires killing people, forest animals, and livelihoods, have got us socked in with smoke so thick it's not safe to go outside.

Surprise - it's not climate change causing the fires. It's decades of mismanagement of the forests. 

 FEAR

Mask mania is about fear and control.  A fearful population is an easily controllable population.  

When I went to Costco last Thursday, I was the only person in the entire warehouse who was not wearing a mask. Costco is one of the more brutal enforcers of mask compliance, and has made a once-enjoyable trip there a visit fraught with anxiety.  

When I got to checkout, a (extremely overweight) masked up woman ordered me to move back onto my mark on the floor.  The cashier surreptitiously rolled her eyes at me, and when the woman left, asked me what she had said to me.  When told, the cashier said she figured that's what it was about, and recounted how the customers were acting like insane people. 

I can't even begin to imagine how rational people in other parts of the country are coping where restrictions are much more severe.  Around North Idaho, there are more unmasked people than masked, except at the places that harass and bully. My question remains, "Why are people so willing to be harassed and bullied into compliance?"

I usually don't weigh in much on Catholic matters to not stir the pot of anti-Catholicism. I have no desire to defend the church against silly people who call us the "Whore of Babylon", think we worship Mary, and we pray to statues. Nor do I have any desire to defame what ever faith tradition you follow. 

The communist infiltration is affecting all the churches - not just the Catholic church. The sooner Christians recognize this, the sooner these evil people will be driven out.

While out running errands yesterday, I was shocked to still see people with filthy rags tied on their faces. Some of the rags were just that - rags flapping in the breeze doing absolutely nothing but making the person wearing it look stupid.

At the ATT store, where they no longer ask you to put on a mask of oppression, the staff is still wearing them. I had a bit of a wait and was able to witness the staff touching, adjusting, pulling it down and then up (sort of like a cat at a door), approximately every minute or two. 

I saw little children in many stores with rags tied on their faces.  Who in hell does that to a kid? 

I saw people hang their masks on the rear view mirror in their cars between stops. Do these people not realize the steering wheel in their car is a petri dish of bacteria?  How many of those dunces are going to drive through some fast food place and proceed to eat food in their filthy car?

Your chances of getting the Wuflu, and your chances of actually dying from it, are less than your chances of being hit by lightning.  Even the CDC, a corrupt organization, has admitted that.

If you're wearing a filthy rag on your face, now is the time to throw it out.
