Moral Injury, Decision Fatigue, and Distractions...

 the trifecta for driving us bonkers.

A few days ago, Father Z posted an article about "moral injury" as it pertains to priests.   I understand the concept, but I'd never heard an actual label attached to the malady.

I immediately could see how due to the constant gas lighting we're enduring, aka "distractions",  the threats to our livelihoods, and possibly our lives, due to very dangerous injections of God knows what, resulting in moral injuries moral injury may apply to all of us in some manner.

What is Moral Injury?

Moral injury is the damage done to one’s conscience or moral compass, when that person perpetrates, witnesses, or fails to prevent acts that transgress one’s own moral beliefs, values, or ethical codes of conduct. source

Moral injury refers to an injury to an individual's moral conscience and values resulting from an act of perceived moral transgression, which produces profound emotional guilt and shame, and in some cases also a sense of betrayal, anger and profound "moral disorientation". source

Afghanistan 

Now we have to deal with the pain and sorrow of this administration that have so completely bungled the withdrawal from Afghanistan, it's a wonder we have a shred of sanity left. 

I'm pretty sure the Christian converts from Islam, numbering approximately 10 - 12K, will be slaughtered. Islam doesn't look with paternal affection on those they consider apostates.  In addition, there are the others; probably a total number of 30 - 40K who will be targeted for death.

Glenn Beck is trying to rescue people from Afghanistan, and is being thwarted at every turn by our state department.  Why?  He raised the money and made the arrangements through his charity The Nazarene Fund. There are those who are attacking him and claiming financial shenanigans, but harkening back to my "trust no one mantra", I have uncovered nothing to back up those assertions. 

The service members left there are caught in between what they know to be moral, and what they're being ordered to do much like what happened in Vietnam.  It's a perfect set up for PTSD, a first cousin of moral injury, which, incidentally, is not an affliction reserved for service members. 

What about our moral injury and decision fatigue? 

How many people, worn down from the constant harassment, suffering from decision fatigue, submitted to a shot they considered to be morally offensive?

Father Z cites a paragraph from the Syracuse University Moral Injury Project describing the results of moral injury on the psyche.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF MORAL INJURY?

Moral injury can lead to serious distress, depression, and suicidality. Moral injury can take the life of those suffering from it, both metaphorically and literally. Moral injury debilitates people, preventing them from living full and healthy lives.

The effects of moral injury go beyond the individual and can destroy one’s capacity to trust others, impinging on the family system and the larger community. Moral injury must be brought forward into the community for a shared process of healing.

In the context of a soul, with respect to the diversity of beliefs and religious perspectives held by those involved with moral injury, consider this:

Moral injury is damage done to the soul of the individual. War is one (but not the only) thing that can cause this damage. Abuse, rape, and violence may cause similar types of damage. “Soul repair” and “soul wound” are terms already in use by researchers and institutions in the United States who are exploring moral injury and pathways to recovery. 

Medical professionals have been dealing with moral injuries for decades, if not longer. It really ramped up with the advent of the scourge of abortion, and the end-of-life decisions being foisted on them. Now teachers are having their ethics compromised over critical race theory, and the child abuse of mandated masks on little kids.

Are we not as a country world suffering from abuse?  Mandates, mask wearing, social distancing, and threats to our lives and livelihood certainly qualify as abuse.

I have a friend who has a "work from home" job, and is being mandated to get a vaccine, and is having to make a decision that may put her out of work.

Prayers appreciated. I am going to have to make some tough choices soon. Possible job change. My employer is mandating the COVID shots and possibly the boosters as conditions of employment and now indicating they are going to start collecting documents and still require masks and the attestation they already made us do. It does not appear they are going to exempt permanent work at home either. They are pushing for 100% compliance which never, in human history, does 100% vaccinated ever happen. I have the shot but am not convinced it was worth it and very reluctant to get more in the form of boosters. My employer claims transparency, but they just closed down comments on their policy on our intranet page, over 27,000 views and 600 comments (only 150 likes). I would say for every 1 positive comment, there were 8 questions concerns or challenges. Explains why we had some execs suddenly quit after less than a year, they are all required to get the shots now and we had some folks at that level leave with no explanation in the last few weeks. I work for a very large pharma and health insurer and they have made a ton of money off vaccine administration and other services, probably one of the few companies to do very well the last couple years.

And her private message to me: 

 Locally, at the S**/@#% system they are mandating vaccines and I think they are going to lose staff. They had a covid wave in the RN group last year and they are arguing they are immune to no avail. I am scared. Don't know what I am going to live on. Please pray for me!

Now, not only does this situation affect just her, but all her family and friends.  It brings up the oft-bandied about phrase of "I feel your pain." 

What do we do about moral injury?

I'm all about solutions.  I "get" the whole question about moral injury and the damage to our souls, but I want to know how to deal with it.  So, I did some research from multiple sources. Guess what?  Since it's not labeled a specific syndrome by the "experts", there is no protocol established, and people are sort of treated by the PTSD protocols.

Not good enough for me.

So all I can offer you is what my pea brain has dredged up from it's seedy little depths.

First - if you are facing a decision involving a moral dilemma, seek out help from those whom you trust.  If you have a pastor, priest, friend, or family member who has been helpful in the past, seek them out. Inevitably, the decision will be yours, and yours alone, so chose your advisors with care.

If you've already taken a course of action which is less than moral and you suffer from guilt or shame (both natural and unavoidable feelings), confession is good for the soul. Catholics have a built-in source of comfort through the Sacrament of Penance.  The rest of you will have to find a trusted friend or a professional type with whom you can discuss the situation. Even Twelve-Step programs use the "confession is good for the soul" approach to recovery.

Secondly, do not cut yourself off from societal contacts. Unfortunately, if you are living in a "social-distance-mask-mandated state", that sets up another problem. Do your best in that regard.  

Third, protect yourself from decision fatigue. Don't put yourself in situations where you have to make a gazillion decisions. Even a trip to the grocery store with the myriad of decisions saps our decision making muscle. I solve that problem with a very detailed list in order of the store so I'm not distracted by endless decisions. 

And fourth, you must pray.  Yeah, I know - everyone flings about this whole prayer thing like confetti at a 40th birthday party.  Don't make it complicated.  I'm not super good at formal prayer, but I carry on a running conversation with God pretty much all day. Thankfully, I don't do it out loud (yet.) I even thank him for the perfect parking spot at Wallyworld, even though I'm pretty sure He doesn't give a hoot about where I park. It's just keeping Him front and center in my daily life. When less happy things occur, I don't blame God, but figure I have it coming for being a creep. 

This is what a real president sounds like. Oh, wait - he is the real president!

I've been logjammed with information overload and unable to sort it out. My "One Tab" has 256 saved tabs piled up. Yep - I know it's a Google extension, but for right now it works for me, since the visual clutter of a gazillion open tabs drives me bonkers.

It seems my recent computer probs have resolved themselves, so the original cause of the problem is suspect.  Then my email, supplied through Utah-based Visionary, went bonkers and took a few days for them to sort out. It was them not us.  You may want to print a copy of all your email contacts in case of emergency.  I also keep all my passwords in a small notebook (in code), in case I have to access accounts at the corner coffee shop on my brand new cute little laptop.

Nothing has changed in my thinking since my post last Thursday, It's Up to Us.  More and more people I respect are echoing my thoughts.  If you're waiting for a super hero to do our work for us, you've got a very long wait ahead of you.

Trump opened our eyes to the rot, which was beyond what most of us could have even imagined. Trump did his part by forcing the real enemy out of the closet. Now it's time for us to do our part.

It's time for all of us to be heroes.

As Benjamin Hardy points out in his book Willpower Doesn't Work*:

Historian Will Durant concluded that: History was not shaped by great men, but rather by demanding situations.  

Necessity, he found, is the single most important ingredient in the formula for greatness - not a particular individual's brilliance or a lone leader's vision. 

Trump correctly saw a situation and the necessity for action. 

Great men all through history answered the call when the situation demanded it of them. 

We are now in such a situation.

Let's not get bogged down in the whys and wherefores. The reasons have been beaten to their death by commentators, historians, and the guy at the Pick and Steal on the corner. 

This is not the time to give up and slink back into our warm and happy places, because soon there won't be any warm and happy places for us.

Even Tucker Carlson manages to nibble around the upcoming demonization of all things Trump.  Number one on the list is you - the person who supports freedom.  It's not about Trump. It's about you. But they will use the demonization of Trump to get to you. Don't fall for it!

I don't have much to say other than stay the hell out of DC. Is something completely unexpected and hard to imagine going to happen on the 20th?  Maybe. Maybe not.  How that's for weasel wording? The only fact I'm sticking with right now is the sun will rise in the east tomorrow morning - maybe.   

I have no special intel, but God endowed me with a healthy dose of skepticism and a (somewhat) logical mind.  He also blessed me at this time in my life with the time to float around ferreting out hundreds of sources.  What I'm reading and hearing tells me that the chances for chaos in DC is high. Any "patriot" who thinks it's his/her job to go to DC, in particular with any kind of weapon that goes bang, has a good chance of ending up at room temperature. 

Ask yourself why DC is going into total lock down before an inauguration, which may or may not happen?  Did you think that sort of thing only happened in banana republics?  It's happening right here, right now! Even Rush is questioning what's going on. And Mr. Unbelievable, Sean Hannity, is starting to wake up. That's yuuuuuge.

If this inauguration actually happens, our communication ability is going to go completely dark. If you haven't already, please secure your contacts emails, phone numbers, and addresses in written form.

This is The Great Awakening - Not The Great Reset...

Don't forget that the commie/libtards who roam among us also have their way of life, which is usually to the exclusion of truth, liberty, and most importantly, God and the Natural Law. They will also be fighting hard for their side.

There is a possibility of a sham inauguration coming up, which is essentially being held in private.  Will it be for real, or a CGI (computer generated images) event?  Your guess is as good as mine.

While zipping around the webs, whenever AT&T allows me to be online, I've noticed more and more people being reflective about their futures.  They're slowly  awakening to the very real danger we're facing and are making plans - both short term and long term, personal and financial. 

I no longer pay much attention on the tidbits of info focused on individuals and groups of evil people.  It's much bigger than some individual you may want in jail.  I certainly don't give even a smidgeon of attention to the MSM and their fake news, but use them instead to ferret out what's going on, which takes a grasp of history a passing knowledge of how propaganda works, and a grasp of the human mind with all it's machinations.   

This is a battle between good and evil and you must choose your side.  Not "sort of" or "maybe", but a firm declaration of truth.  Beyond even good and evil is the fight for humanity, as God intended it to be. 

Short term, there may be interruptions in services we've become dependent upon; electricity, cell phone service, and even internet service.  Best not to be too alarmed, because the commie/libtards also depend on those very same services, and so I wouldn't expect such interruptions to last more than a few days or a week at most.  And, it may never happen.  I have no special intel, but I'm a huge believer in being prudent and prepared.

What can you do?

That's both a real question and a rhetorical question.

It's up to each of you to probe your psyche for your purpose in life. Each of us has an individual role to play.  Due to physical, age-related, or cognitive differences, our strengths and weaknesses are not the same, and we aren't going to have the same purpose. Your purpose right now is to find your purpose.

Please spend some time in quiet reflection, discuss the present and the future with those you trust, and decide accordingly. Don't be spewing your plans all over Facecrap, or your blog if you have one, or even with most of your neighbors.  Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves (Matt 10:16)  You may want to take a few minutes to research that verse.

 And  - don't forget to pray!

I've been studying this order for close to a week now. 

The following video is human rights attorney Leigh Dundas, who has been in conference calls with Trump's attorneys, breaking down this executive order.

Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election

Issued on: September 12, 2018

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.) (IEEPA), the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) (NEA), section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 (8 U.S.C. 1182(f)), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code,

I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, find that the ability of persons located, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States to interfere in or undermine public confidence in United States elections, including through the unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure or the covert distribution of propaganda and disinformation, constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States. Although there has been no evidence of a foreign power altering the outcome or vote tabulation in any United States election, foreign powers have historically sought to exploit America’s free and open political system. In recent years, the proliferation of digital devices and internet-based communications has created significant vulnerabilities and magnified the scope and intensity of the threat of foreign interference, as illustrated in the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment. I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with this threat.

Accordingly, I hereby order:

Section 1. (a) Not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election. The assessment shall identify, to the maximum extent ascertainable, the nature of any foreign interference and any methods employed to execute it, the persons involved, and the foreign government or governments that authorized, directed, sponsored, or supported it. The Director of National Intelligence shall deliver this assessment and appropriate supporting information to the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of Homeland Security.

(b) Within 45 days of receiving the assessment and information described in section 1(a) of this order, the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate agencies and, as appropriate, State and local officials, shall deliver to the President, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, and the Secretary of Defense a report evaluating, with respect to the United States election that is the subject of the assessment described in section 1(a):

(i) the extent to which any foreign interference that targeted election infrastructure materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, the tabulation of votes, or the timely transmission of election results; and

(ii) if any foreign interference involved activities targeting the infrastructure of, or pertaining to, a political organization, campaign, or candidate, the extent to which such activities materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, including by unauthorized access to, disclosure or threatened disclosure of, or alteration or falsification of, information or data.

The report shall identify any material issues of fact with respect to these matters that the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security are unable to evaluate or reach agreement on at the time the report is submitted. The report shall also include updates and recommendations, when appropriate, regarding remedial actions to be taken by the United States Government, other than the sanctions described in sections 2 and 3 of this order.

(c) Heads of all relevant agencies shall transmit to the Director of National Intelligence any information relevant to the execution of the Director’s duties pursuant to this order, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law. If relevant information emerges after the submission of the report mandated by section 1(a) of this order, the Director, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate agencies, shall amend the report, as appropriate, and the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall amend the report required by section 1(b), as appropriate.

(d) Nothing in this order shall prevent the head of any agency or any other appropriate official from tendering to the President, at any time through an appropriate channel, any analysis, information, assessment, or evaluation of foreign interference in a United States election.

(e) If information indicating that foreign interference in a State, tribal, or local election within the United States has occurred is identified, it may be included, as appropriate, in the assessment mandated by section 1(a) of this order or in the report mandated by section 1(b) of this order, or submitted to the President in an independent report.

(f) Not later than 30 days following the date of this order, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Attorney General, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the Director of National Intelligence shall develop a framework for the process that will be used to carry out their respective responsibilities pursuant to this order. The framework, which may be classified in whole or in part, shall focus on ensuring that agencies fulfill their responsibilities pursuant to this order in a manner that maintains methodological consistency; protects law enforcement or other sensitive information and intelligence sources and methods; maintains an appropriate separation between intelligence functions and policy and legal judgments; ensures that efforts to protect electoral processes and institutions are insulated from political bias; and respects the principles of free speech and open debate.

Sec. 2. (a) All property and interests in property that are in the United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or hereafter come within the possession or control of any United States person of the following persons are blocked and may not be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn, or otherwise dealt in: any foreign person determined by the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of Homeland Security:

(i) to have directly or indirectly engaged in, sponsored, concealed, or otherwise been complicit in foreign interference in a United States election;

(ii) to have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to or in support of, any activity described in subsection (a)(i) of this section or any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order; or

(iii) to be owned or controlled by, or to have acted or purported to act for or on behalf of, directly or indirectly, any person whose property or interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order.

(b) Executive Order 13694 of April 1, 2015, as amended by Executive Order 13757 of December 28, 2016, remains in effect. This order is not intended to, and does not, serve to limit the Secretary of the Treasury’s discretion to exercise the authorities provided in Executive Order 13694. Where appropriate, the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Attorney General and the Secretary of State, may exercise the authorities described in Executive Order 13694 or other authorities in conjunction with the Secretary of the Treasury’s exercise of authorities provided in this order.

(c) The prohibitions in subsection (a) of this section apply except to the extent provided by statutes, or in regulations, orders, directives, or licenses that may be issued pursuant to this order, and notwithstanding any contract entered into or any license or permit granted prior to the date of this order.

Sec. 3. Following the transmission of the assessment mandated by section 1(a) and the report mandated by section 1(b):

(a) the Secretary of the Treasury shall review the assessment mandated by section 1(a) and the report mandated by section 1(b), and, in consultation with the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of Homeland Security, impose all appropriate sanctions pursuant to section 2(a) of this order and any appropriate sanctions described in section 2(b) of this order; and

(b) the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the heads of other appropriate agencies, shall jointly prepare a recommendation for the President as to whether additional sanctions against foreign persons may be appropriate in response to the identified foreign interference and in light of the evaluation in the report mandated by section 1(b) of this order, including, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, proposed sanctions with respect to the largest business entities licensed or domiciled in a country whose government authorized, directed, sponsored, or supported election interference, including at least one entity from each of the following sectors: financial services, defense, energy, technology, and transportation (or, if inapplicable to that country’s largest business entities, sectors of comparable strategic significance to that foreign government). The recommendation shall include an assessment of the effect of the recommended sanctions on the economic and national security interests of the United States and its allies. Any recommended sanctions shall be appropriately calibrated to the scope of the foreign interference identified, and may include one or more of the following with respect to each targeted foreign person:

(i) blocking and prohibiting all transactions in a person’s property and interests in property subject to United States jurisdiction;

(ii) export license restrictions under any statute or regulation that requires the prior review and approval of the United States Government as a condition for the export or re-export of goods or services;

(iii) prohibitions on United States financial institutions making loans or providing credit to a person;

(iv) restrictions on transactions in foreign exchange in which a person has any interest;

(v) prohibitions on transfers of credit or payments between financial institutions, or by, through, or to any financial institution, for the benefit of a person;

(vi) prohibitions on United States persons investing in or purchasing equity or debt of a person;

(vii) exclusion of a person’s alien corporate officers from the United States;

(viii) imposition on a person’s alien principal executive officers of any of the sanctions described in this section; or

(ix) any other measures authorized by law.

Sec. 4. I hereby determine that the making of donations of the type of articles specified in section 203(b)(2) of IEEPA (50 U.S.C. 1702(b)(2)) by, to, or for the benefit of any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order would seriously impair my ability to deal with the national emergency declared in this order, and I hereby prohibit such donations as provided by section 2 of this order.

Sec. 5. The prohibitions in section 2 of this order include the following:

(a) the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services by, to, or for the benefit of any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order; and

(b) the receipt of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services from any such person.

Sec. 6. I hereby find that the unrestricted immigrant and nonimmigrant entry into the United States of aliens whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, and I hereby suspend entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of such persons. Such persons shall be treated as persons covered by section 1 of Proclamation 8693 of July 24, 2011 (Suspension of Entry of Aliens Subject to United Nations Security Council Travel Bans and International Emergency Economic Powers Act Sanctions).

Sec. 7. (a) Any transaction that evades or avoids, has the purpose of evading or avoiding, causes a violation of, or attempts to violate any of the prohibitions set forth in this order is prohibited.

(b) Any conspiracy formed to violate any of the prohibitions set forth in this order is prohibited.

Sec. 8. For the purposes of this order:

(a) the term “person” means an individual or entity;

(b) the term “entity” means a partnership, association, trust, joint venture, corporation, group, subgroup, or other organization;

(c) the term “United States person” means any United States citizen, permanent resident alien, entity organized under the laws of the United States or any jurisdiction within the United States (including foreign branches), or any person (including a foreign person) in the United States;

(d) the term “election infrastructure” means information and communications technology and systems used by or on behalf of the Federal Government or a State or local government in managing the election process, including voter registration databases, voting machines, voting tabulation equipment, and equipment for the secure transmission of election results;

(e) the term “United States election” means any election for Federal office held on, or after, the date of this order;

(f) the term “foreign interference,” with respect to an election, includes any covert, fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful actions or attempted actions of a foreign government, or of any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, undertaken with the purpose or effect of influencing, undermining confidence in, or altering the result or reported result of, the election, or undermining public confidence in election processes or institutions;

(g) the term “foreign government” means any national, state, provincial, or other governing authority, any political party, or any official of any governing authority or political party, in each case of a country other than the United States;

(h) the term “covert,” with respect to an action or attempted action, means characterized by an intent or apparent intent that the role of a foreign government will not be apparent or acknowledged publicly; and

(i) the term “State” means the several States or any of the territories, dependencies, or possessions of the United States.

Sec. 9. For those persons whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order who might have a constitutional presence in the United States, I find that because of the ability to transfer funds or other assets instantaneously, prior notice to such persons of measures to be taken pursuant to this order would render those measures ineffectual. I therefore determine that for these measures to be effective in addressing the national emergency declared in this order, there need be no prior notice of a listing or determination made pursuant to section 2 of this order.

Sec. 10. Nothing in this order shall prohibit transactions for the conduct of the official business of the United States Government by employees, grantees, or contractors thereof.

Sec. 11. The Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Attorney General and the Secretary of State, is hereby authorized to take such actions, including the promulgation of rules and regulations, and to employ all powers granted to the President by IEEPA as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this order. The Secretary of the Treasury may re-delegate any of these functions to other officers within the Department of the Treasury consistent with applicable law. All agencies of the United States Government are hereby directed to take all appropriate measures within their authority to carry out the provisions of this order.

Sec. 12. The Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Attorney General and the Secretary of State, is hereby authorized to submit the recurring and final reports to the Congress on the national emergency declared in this order, consistent with section 401(c) of the NEA (50 U.S.C. 1641(c)) and section 204(c) of IEEPA (50 U.S.C. 1703(c)).

Sec. 13. This order shall be implemented consistent with 50 U.S.C. 1702(b)(1) and (3).

Sec. 14. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Where are the riots??...

 is it because we're being told over, and over, and over Joe Biden is the president?

He's not.

The riots will begin when Trump is declared the president. And he will be elected - fairly.

The propaganda machine is hard at work spewing out their lies.  My advice to you is to ignore it all. 

Think about this:

Before Clinton lost we were told elections were almost completely tamper proof. Even Odumbo called voter fraud "fake news."

Suddenly, after the unthinkable happened and Donald Trump was elected, we listened to four years of Russia, Russia, Russia.

Now we've come full circle to "don't be silly - there hasn't been any election fraud," when anyone who lives in reality can see it happening in real time.

The deep state peeps and never Trump repubs are crawling all over themselves like earth worms on a balmy night in spring to congratulate Biden on his "win."  Nothing like outing yourself as the enemy. 

If you've been paying attention, and I know you have, we were told this would happen and it's going to be a long time - probably many, many weeks - even months before it's resolved. 

It will get worse before it gets better and you need to guard your mental, spiritual, and physical health for the battles ahead. 

So for now calm down, fire up your BBQ, have coffee with your friends, take walks every day, and read some good books. Pray and thank God you are not dodging bullets like our forefathers did during the Revolutionary War which ushered in this magnificent country. It's our turn to take it back so those who died for freedom did not die in vain.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As devout Christians and faithful citizens of the United States of America, you have intense and heartfelt concern for the fate of your beloved country while the final results of the Presidential election are still uncertain.

News of electoral fraud is multiplying, despite the shameful attempts of the mainstream media to censor the truth of the facts in order to give their candidate the advantage. There are states in which the number of votes is greater than the number of voters; others in which the mail-in vote seems to be exclusively in favor of Joe Biden; others in which the counting of ballots has been suspended for no reason or where sensational tampering has been discovered: always and only against President Donald J. Trump, always and only in favor of Biden.

In truth, for months now we have been witnessing a continuous trickle of staggered news, of manipulated or censored information, of crimes that have been silenced or covered up in the face of striking evidence and irrefutable testimony. We have seen the deep state organize itself, well in advance, to carry out the most colossal electoral fraud in history, in order to ensure the defeat of the man who has strenuously opposed the establishment of the New World Order that is wanted by the children of darkness. In this battle, you have not failed, as is your sacred duty, to make your own contribution by taking the side of the Good. Others, enslaved by vices or blinded by infernal hatred against Our Lord, have taken the side of Evil.

Do not think that the children of darkness act with honesty, and do not be scandalized if they operate with deception. Do you perhaps believe that Satan’s followers are honest, sincere, and loyal? The Lord has warned us against the Devil: “He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks in character, because he is a liar and the father of lies” (Jn 8:44).

In these hours, while the gates of Hell seem to prevail, allow me to address myself to you with an appeal, which I trust that you will respond to promptly and with generosity. I ask you to make an act of trust in God, an act of humility and filial devotion to The Lord of Armies. I ask that all of you pray the Holy Rosary, if possible in your families or with your dear ones, your friends, your brothers and sisters, your colleagues, your fellow soldiers. Pray with the abandonment of children who know how to have recourse to their Most Holy Mother to ask her to intercede before the throne of the Divine Majesty. Pray with a sincere soul, with a pure heart, in the certainty of being heard and answered. Ask her – she who is the Help of Christians, Auxilium Christianorum – to defeat the forces of the Enemy; ask her – she who is terrible as an army set in battle array (Song 6:10) – to grant the victory to the forces of Good and to inflict a humiliating defeat on the forces of Evil.

Have your children pray, using the holy words that you have taught them: those confident prayers will rise to God and will not remain unheard. Have the elderly and sick pray, so that they may offer their sufferings in union with the sufferings that Our Lord suffered on the Cross when he shed His Precious Blood for Our Redemption. Have young ladies and women pray, so that they turn to her who is the model of purity and motherhood. And you, men, must also pray: your courage, your honor and your boldness will be refreshed and strengthened. All of you, take up this spiritual weapon, before which Satan and his minions retreat furiously, because they fear the Most Holy Virgin, she who is Almighty by Grace, even more than Almighty God.

Do not allow yourselves to be discouraged by the deceptions of the Enemy, even more so in this terrible hour in which the impudence of lying and fraud dares to challenge Heaven. Our adversaries’ hours are numbered if you will pray, if we will all pray with Faith and with the true ardor of Charity. May the Lord grant that one single devout and faithful voice rise from your homes, your churches, and your streets! This voice will not remain unheard, because it will be the voice of a people that cries out, in the moment when the storm rages most fiercely, “Save us, Lord, we are perishing!” (Mt 8:25).

The days that await us are a precious occasion for all of you, and for those who unite themselves spiritually to you from every part of the world. You have the honor and privilege of being able to participate in the victory of this spiritual battle, to wield the powerful weapon of the Holy Rosary as our fathers did at Lepanto to repel the enemy armies.

Pray with the certainty of Our Lord’s promise: “Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you” (Lk 11:9). The King of Kings, from whom you ask the salvation of your Nation, will reward your Faith. Your testimony, remember this, will touch the heart of Our Lord, multiplying the heavenly Graces which are, more than ever, indispensable in order to achieve victory.

May my appeal, which I address to you and to all people who recognize the Lordship of God, find you to be generous apostles and courageous witnesses of the spiritual rebirth of your beloved country, and with it the entire world. Non praevalebunt.

Podcasts are on the bottom of my list for information. I'm a very rapid reader, so to have to sit still while someone is talking at 1/10 the speed I can read is frustrating and (what's left of) my mind starts to wander.

Yet, this "semi" podcast was more than interesting.  I found it in the least likely place imaginable.  I follow a sweet Christian lady, Lydia Sherman, on her blog Home Living.  She's branched out on her blog to doing "homemaker radio" -  videos intended for listening while you go about the many chores in your home. 

Today she posted a link to the X-22 Report, a site I haven't visited in quite some time, which seemed totally out of character for her - but, I thank her.     

This podcast, Coup d’etat, Trump Sets Trap To Expose It All, Patriots Know The Playbook – Episode 2320, was published late yesterday. It appears they release an episode every evening between 6 and 7 pm ET.  I've embedded it below directly from Rumble TV. 

It's about 39 minutes.  The first half or so is stuff we "sort of" already know, but still absolutely worth a listen. If you are super pressed for time, pop up to about 19:30 and listen from that point.

After the noon Mass today, our church will have an all-day and all-night exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in our main church. This will be in addition to our perpetual adoration chapel where the Blessed Sacrament is on display 24/7, and is never left alone. I've signed up for the Midnight to 1am slot - or longer if necessary.

After voting, the best thing we can do is pray, my dearest readers. Thank God for placing you here at this most important time in our history. You've been chosen. Don't let He Who Loves You down.
