Ted Cruz, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. challenge COVID totalitarianism...

with a thank you to Lifesite News

Since the majority of you were not here for the public rise of the Kennedy family and were born years, if not decades, after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, there is no way for you to understand the weirdness of someone my age posting a video warning from Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

It's a brilliant message in it's simplicity. He's asking you to question the narrative.

The most important part and the central question I keep asking myself: Why are they keeping people separated from others, isolated, and fearful? Why are bars, restaurants, and churches being targeted, threatened, and run out of business?

My conclusion is because these are the places where people come together to exchange information and even plot the overthrow of punitive governments. Can't have Bobby, Billy, and Bess comparing notes and making plans, now can we?

Senator Ted Cruz stated the following about the health tyranny that we have all been subjected to the past several months:
“This is a bizarre, lunatic, totalitarian cult.
It’s not about vaccines or protecting people’s lives—it is instead profoundly anti-science, and is only focused on absolute govt control of every aspect of our lives."
NB: Kennedy suffers with spasmodic dysphonia - hence the vocal problems.

There is more information and important links at LifeSite, so pop over and read it all.

Abby Johnson at World Net Daily:  Catholic bishops 'cowering to Big Pharma' in vaccine advisory  "If abortion was used in any part of the manufacturing or production of this vaccine, the Catholic Church, especially in all Christians, should be saying, no, we don’t want any part of it"

Allow me to repost a message from my pastor I posted back on November 30, but do take the time to read the original post "Are some vaccines immoral?"

(emphasis mine)

Since there are so many questions regarding the potential Covid-19 vaccines, and whether it is moral to receive them or not, I would like to direct you to a good website that analyzes the vaccines that are in development. The website is Children of God for Life. This is a direct link to a listing of Covid vaccines using and not using fetal stem cells. Below is a link to their home page.
On the site, under the “Vaccines” tab, there is a “Covid-19 Vaccines” page, which lists the vaccines that are in development by pharmaceutical companies, and divides them by those that were produced with or contain aborted fetal cells and those that do not. Vaccines that are produced from or contain aborted fetal cells would be immoral to use; those not produced from or containing aborted fetal cells would be permissible, so long as there is no other moral principle violated. Vaccines that were produced with or contain aborted fetal cells would be immoral to use for the following reasons.

First, there is the idea of cooperation in evil. While some of the cell lines and cultures in the vaccines produced with aborted fetal cells came from abortions committed long ago, and one may not be participating in the abortion, there is nonetheless the principle that to unjustly take the property of another or the fruits thereof is an injustice. In this case the “property” is the very body of the aborted baby, obtained by murder.

However, not only does the body belong to the aborted baby, but the fruits of the body belong to the person as well; therefore it is a new act of injustice to use cultures or lines produced from the unjustly taken cells of an aborted baby. Thus, even though one avoids remote material participation in the original abortion, one still is guilty of a new injustice by receiving (as it were) the stolen goods of a baby in receiving a vaccine that is produced from or contains aborted fetal cells, and would therefore be immoral.

If you want to make a difference - please share. Thank you...

Election rigging: It's not Russia, Russia, Russia - it's Google, Google, Google...

and Facecrap, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.

Shadow banning, demonetizing, closing down sites, Facecrap "jail", and the myriad of other ways these social network sites and the largest search engine in the world have to silence conservative voices, has not even reached peak.

Now I know that many, if not most, conservatives doing research take into account the skewed results of any searches they may do.  I also know that most of us are willing to dig deep to find the truth - which includes using our brains and actually thinking.  What a concept.

My perusal of commie/libtards on Facecrap and liberal sites is that, by far, they either just post memes from sites like Democrat Underground or repeat mindless talking points without ever vetting what they're reading or repeating - with, of course, "racist" being lobbed about like a soccer ball on steroids.

With that in mind, and knowing that presenting the facts to these mindless drones is pointless, in the past I've taken the "what me worry" approach.

However, after listening to the testimony of this liberal professor to the Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing on "Google and Censorship through Search Engines" I've changed my mind somewhat. His testimony is chilling.

I might also have you take note of the respectful way in which Ted Cruz questions Professor Epstein.  Compare that to the angry insulting way Elizabeth Warren questions defense secretary nominee, Dr. Esper, interrupting and never allowing him to answer a question. Can you even begin to imagine this harridan as president of the United States?  I can't. e

Ted Cruz dumps on dems at Jeff Sessions hearing...

good for him.

Nine days until one of the most lawless and damaging administrations in the history of this country will be gone.

Pray for Trump.  He has a rough road ahead.

From Breitbart:
“I want to spend a little bit of time highlighting an aspect of your record, which is your involvement in the prosecution of Henry Hays, a member of the Ku Klux Klan,” Cruz told Sessions during the hearing. “Because I suspect it’s something very few people watching this hearing have ever heard of, and it is striking. And I think highly revealing, so I’d just like to walk through some of the facts,” Cruz said. He went on:
I have not seen any appointee to the cabinet– Democratic or Republican– who has a record like you do of prosecuting Klansman, putting them on death row, bankrupting them, and putting them out of business. I admire you’re doing so, and I’ll issue a challenge to our friends in the news media. I notice every time a protester [opposing Sessions] jumped up, all the photographers took pictures of the protestors. I suspect we’re going to see them in all the papers. I would encourage the news media: cover this story, tell the story on the 6 o’clock news about Jeff Sessions helping to prosecute a Klansman who murdered an innocent African American, put him on death row, and help[ed] bankrupt the Klan in Alabama. That’s a story that needs to be told. And Sen. Sessions, I thank you for your record. I thank you for your service.

Ted Cruz: When it's not okay to follow your conscience...

when the other person's conscience doesn't agree with you.

The nevertrump peeps are "outraged", "saddened", "disappointed", and "devastated", that Ted Cruz's conscience is allowing him to support and vote for Donald Trump.

Amanda Carpenter, a nobody with no influence, who used to be a senior staffer for Ted Cruz, retweeted:
@amandacarpenter sees no "evidence that Trump has changed his behavior to allow Cruz's conscience to support Trump"
Since when is it your right to vet Cruz's conscience?  Is his conscience only right when he agrees with your stance?

Do these people not hear themselves?

Word is that Glenn Beck is on suicide watch.

Ted Cruz endorses Donald Trump...

and we thank him

Via Facebook:

This election is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.

In Cleveland, I urged voters, “please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

I’ve made this decision for two reasons. First, last year, I promised to support the Republican nominee. And I intend to keep my word.

Second, even though I have had areas of significant disagreement with our nominee, by any measure Hillary Clinton is wholly unacceptable — that’s why I have always been #NeverHillary.

Six key policy differences inform my decision.

First, and most important, the Supreme Court. For anyone concerned about the Bill of Rights — free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment — the Court hangs in the balance. I have spent my professional career fighting before the Court to defend the Constitution. We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue. Trump, in contrast, has promised to appoint justices “in the mold of Scalia.”

For some time, I have been seeking greater specificity on this issue, and today the Trump campaign provided that, releasing a very strong list of potential Supreme Court nominees — including Sen. Mike Lee, who would make an extraordinary justice — and making an explicit commitment to nominate only from that list. This commitment matters, and it provides a serious reason for voters to choose to support Trump.

Second, Obamacare. The failed healthcare law is hurting millions of Americans. If Republicans hold Congress, leadership has committed to passing legislation repealing Obamacare. Clinton, we know beyond a shadow of doubt, would veto that legislation. Trump has said he would sign it.

Third, energy. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s war on coal and relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry. Trump has said he will reduce regulations and allow the blossoming American energy renaissance to create millions of new high-paying jobs.

Fourth, immigration. Clinton would continue and even expand President Obama’s lawless executive amnesty. Trump has promised that he would revoke those illegal executive orders.

Fifth, national security. Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism. She would continue importing Middle Eastern refugees whom the FBI cannot vet to make sure they are not terrorists. Trump has promised to stop the deluge of unvetted refugees.

Sixth, Internet freedom. Clinton supports Obama’s plan to hand over control of the Internet to an international community of stakeholders, including Russia, China, and Iran. Just this week, Trump came out strongly against that plan, and in support of free speech online.

These are six vital issues where the candidates’ positions present a clear choice for the American people.

If Clinton wins, we know — with 100% certainty — that she would deliver on her left-wing promises, with devastating results for our country.

My conscience tells me I must do whatever I can to stop that.

We also have seen, over the past few weeks and months, a Trump campaign focusing more and more on freedom — including emphasizing school choice and the power of economic growth to lift African-Americans and Hispanics to prosperity.

Finally, after eight years of a lawless Obama administration, targeting and persecuting those disfavored by the administration, fidelity to the rule of law has never been more important.

The Supreme Court will be critical in preserving the rule of law. And, if the next administration fails to honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, then I hope that Republicans and Democrats will stand united in protecting our fundamental liberties.

Our country is in crisis. Hillary Clinton is manifestly unfit to be president, and her policies would harm millions of Americans. And Donald Trump is the only thing standing in her way.

A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you don’t want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him.

Crucizide and Ivanka as a Palate Cleanser...

Cruz proved to me that he was exactly what I suspected he was.

Vote your conscience, Ted?  How about keeping your word?

From my forays onto Fakebook and comment sections across the globe, the result of what he did allowed at least 50% of the Cruz supporters to vote for Donald J. Trump with a clear and happy conscience.

You do not mess with Donald Trump or Paul Manafort.  Heidi and Ted are not near as clever as they think they are.

A few of my favorite quips about Cruz, followed by an excellent interview with Ivanka Trump to take the bad taste out of your mouth.

Keith Koffler:  Cruz came to Donald Trump’s Party and spilled red wine all over the carpet. On purpose.

Vox Popoli:  Even Apollo 1 had a better launch than Ted Cruz's 2020 presidential campaign last night.

The Last Refuge:  It’s called self immolation.  July 20th 2016 will go down in Cruz family history as that moment when Ted Cruz detonated his career suicide belt and created the #NeverCruz movement.

And my favorite:

Lame Cherry:  I am stunned after observing Ted Cruz, for Donald Trump provided Mr. Cruz the golden microphone to set Cruz's future, and for some reason, Ted Cruz wrapped his neck in the cord, jumped off the stage, and then beat himself to death.

Cruz did the right thing...

now we need to unite to defeat Hillary.

Stupid wrapped in ridiculous...

and it's getting worse.

My reading list is shrinking daily.  At this rate, I won't have anything to read in another week or so.

Mark Levin has joined the "never Trump" crowd and vows to not vote for him if he's the nominee.  He also still believes that Michelle Fields is a victim of thuggery by the Trump campaign, so his opinions don't count for much.

Erick Erickson, in a bid to retain some relevancy, has predicted that the dems will bury Trump in negative ads and the Cruz delegates will "save" us in July.  No link on purpose.  Does anyone pay any attention to negative political ads?  For that matter, does anyone pay any attention to Erick Erickson?

George Will had this to say:
Were he to be nominated, conservatives would have two tasks. One would be to help him lose 50 states — condign punishment for his comprehensive disdain for conservative essentials, including the manners and grace that should lubricate the nation’s civic life. Second, conservatives can try to save from the anti-Trump undertow as many senators, representatives, governors and state legislators as possible.
Manners and grace?  Like we've witnessed for the past 8 years?  Is that the manners and grace you're talking about, George?  And we're supposed to save senators and representatives who have done absolutely nothing to stop Odumbo the past eight years?  Yeah, I'll get right on that.

Manners and grace is no doubt what drove Glenn Beck to don swimmer's goggles and gracefully roll his face in crushed Cheetos.  And now he's claiming that if Trump wins Indiana he will be on suicide watch.  Even more fun is his saying, "Tell me another time in our nation’s history that you have witnessed where Indiana matters.”  Now that's really mannerly.

I've watched and listened to both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump closely the past few months.  I even stood in line to see Ted Cruz in person when he came to Coeur d'Alene.  I hope to see Trump when he comes to Spokane.  However, if paid protesters threaten mayhem, I will not go, not because I fear these people, but because I fear I may unleash some 70 year old lady whoop ass on one of them.  I am still capable of being dangerous.

I'm not liking what's coming out of the Cruz camp lately.  Ted saying Trump would "encourage riots in Cleveland" is over the top.

And though it might seem petty, I'm really tired of his two little girls being paraded around like decorative roses on a chocolate cake. I'm old school and think children should be seen and not heard.  Allowing them to dominate and take center stage at his town hall was annoying.  I'm not voting for someone's kids or their wife.   Fiorina stating that she loves his kids and regaling us with a little ditty she sings to them is of no consequence.

More than anything else, Trump has uncovered what some of us have known for some time.  The democrats and republicans are just one 'ol big corrupt bunch of people trying to hang onto their federal tax-payer supplied largess.  Ordinary people are standing back and saying, "What the hell is going on?"

Can Trump do what he says he can do?  I don't know, and neither do you or any of the pundits who have lost control of their pie holes. We also don't know whether Cruz can or will do what he claims.

The Bottom Line

As it stands right now, I'm supporting Trump for president.  That can always change since it's a long way to November.

Rudy Giuliani on the Cruz/Kasich Coalition...

and I agree with him.

If nothing else, Trump has opened up the eyes of many people, me included, about the sleazy stuff that goes on in elections.  I get it.  I'm aware of the "smoke filled back room."  However, this election has risen to new heights in sleaze and people are not liking it.

I'm very disappointed in some of the tactics Cruz has used, and is there anyone out there who doesn't know why delusional Kasich is still campaigning?

Once again: DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU, READ, SEE, OR HEAR...

outrageous!!

I originally saw the video last night on a site other than Gateway Pundit.  My first reaction was, "Well, that's really rude."

This is what Jim Hoft (bless his heart) posted at Gateway Pundit:

WOW! New York audience Completely Tunes Ted Cruz Out at GOP Dinner - along with the following video.
New York Values—
Ted Cruz spoke at the New York Republican Dinner on Thursday night.
The audience spoke over him.
You can barely hear Ted over the din in the room.
The longer Ted spoke the louder the room got.
By the time he wrapped up his ridiculously long speech the crowd was talking, clinking glasses and paying no attention to the Texas Senator.
Except there's one big problem.

According to Rush this morning

 IT DID NOT HAPPEN!

Rush was at the event and gave a lengthy explanation this morning as to how the whole thing was orchestrated on purpose.  He's claiming everything was fine until about the last 10 minutes or so of Cruz's speech when suddenly the mics and sound system went all wonky on the broadcast - not the room. He figured they'd fix it - except they didn't.  Finally, Fox cut away and Hannity, who was in the studio, said they were having sound problems.

Since I wasn't there, it's impossible for me to say whose version of the events was correct.  Why should I believe Rush over Jim Hoft?

I'm going to apply a bit of my homespun logic here.
  • Rush really doesn't have an axe to grind.
  • He was present at the event.
  • It would be very easy for his version to be refuted
  • As far as I know Jim Hoft was not at the event
  • Jim Hoft does have an axe to grind as he has chosen Trump as his savior™
I'll be interested in what Sean Hannity has to say later today.  I've posted a few Gateway Pundit comments below the video.  It seem not everyone is so easily fooled.

In the meantime, peeps, QUESTION EVERYTHING!

It appears some of the commenters at Gateway Pundit got it:

It is ridicules how Cruz's mic got turned off. There really are a lot of people out to get him. If you watch the second video carefully you will see many people paying close attention to Senator Cruz as he speaks. The rest of the people are acting just as they did during the Trump speech and the Kasich speech. I am sure that in the room the audio was normal.

The New York Gala event was on Fox News for nearly two hours last night. No audio problems until Cruz came on as the last to speak. Hannity finally pulled away from the event saying there was a technical problem with the audio.

Today, Fox News has been reporting the audio problem was almost the entire crowd ignoring Cruz purposely. Crowd talking, taking selfies and showing Cruz their New York values. It was a complete snub of Cruz who is cratering in the National Presidential polls and is fast approaching single digits in the New York polls leading up to the election on Tuesday.

Cruz is going to have a rough next couple of weeks.

Both Cruz and Kasich bowed to the PC police by condeming Corey Lewandowski...

and I'm very disappointed in both of them.

Haven't we all witnessed enough people having their lives ruined because of people caving to every petty whiny complaint directed at innocent comments or actions, which in no way could be considered abuse or assault?

As I said before, I hoped to never have to speak about Michelle Fields ever again - so I won't.

This is about both Cruz and Kasich jumping on the PC bandwagon and demanding the firing of Corey Lewandowski, when it is quite clear from watching all the videos available that a "battery" did not take place.
A Florida prosecutor has decided not to prosecute Donald Trump’s campaign manager for battery after a March run-in with former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, sources with knowledge of the situation told POLITICO.

The decision not to press charges against Corey Lewandowski is scheduled to be announced on Thursday afternoon by Palm Beach County State Attorney David Aronberg. source
Both Kasich and Cruz were stumping to deny a man his job, smear him publicly, and ruin his name.

A man who did nothing wrong. In fact, in the Kasich video below, the clip they played of the "assault" shows clearly that Trump was grabbed by what's-her-name and pulls his arm back (15 seconds in.)

Whether you like Trump or not, the fact that he was not going to be bullied into sacrificing Lewandowski on the altar of political correctness says something about his character.

And to that I say, "Bravo."

The fact that both Cruz and Kasich were calling for the dismissal of Lewandowski also says much about their character.  Did either of them even watch the many videos available?

What we have become in this country is a bunch of people unwilling to stand up for what is right.  Scratch a libtard, and get destroyed, because that's who they are.  It is disappointing to see Cruz and Kasich acting like common libtards.

Cruz is an attorney and should have known better.  He and Kasich should publicly apologize to Corey Lewandowski, but I'm not holding my breath.

Just to make myself perfectly clear, if this had happened to either of the democrats running for president, I would be saying exactly the same thing.

Cruz is an attorney.  By all accounts a very, very good attorney.  Would he allow a client of his to meander around shooting off his mouth?  I don't think so.

All he needs to say is, "I don't know who started this silly story. It's not true. Let's move on."

Carly Fiorina answers for Ted Cruz in Wisconsin...

am I the only one who finds this encounter with the press bizarre?

From YouTube:
In a Ted Cruz press conference in Wisconsin, Carly Fiorina, an endorser of Ted Cruz, calls Donald Trump a "a serial philanderer" while responding to a question on Ted Cruz’s marriage.

Wake up...

you're being manipulated.

Do the people who have already picked their savior™ really believe it is beneficial to the cause of defeating Hillary to hurl disdain and insults toward the people who have chosen a different savior™

The MSM, internet trolls, and public opinion polls are all working in tandem and logging in tons of overtime to manage your attitude and responses.

Is it so hard to believe that Cruz really didn't know some super PAC was behind the picture of Melania Trump being posted in order to sway voters in Utah?

Conversely, is it so hard to believe that Trump was not behind the Enquirer story about the possibility of Cruz being active in bedrooms with women who were not his wife?

After doing some thinking the past few days, I've reached the conclusion that both scenarios I outlined above are probably true.

Always ask who benefits from the chaos in this whole ridiculous Kabuki theater we call an election.

It's certainly not the people who do not want to see a criminal like Hillary Clinton in the White House.

A comment at American Thinker blog on a post about this very subject:
I have been sparring with leftists online for over a decade, It's kind of a hobby. I know how leftists speak when they argue.
I would say at least a third of the "conservative" posters trashing both Trump and Cruz are leftists posing as conservatives.
They are here to do exactly what's happening, make us rip each other to shreds over small differences between the candidates. If we hate each other enough to destroy our own candidates before the general election, it makes the democrats' job that much easier.
Sadly, far too many people who Should Know Better are falling for their ploy.
If you are a person who thinks they're immune to manipulation, or would never succumb to propaganda, you are the easiest target.

Hardnox posted a very good article about this very subject today:

Conservative Dumbassery
Last year when both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump announced their bids for the presidency most conservatives across the spectrum applauded their entries into the race, especially since both were Washington political outsiders.

Fast forward to 2016… a metamorphosis took place during a 6 month period whereas a great many adopted the actions and ideology of leftists.
Yes, you read that right.

Lefties absolutely refuse to consider or accept an opposing view which is contrary to the approved narrative.  Conversely, many self-described conservatives absolutely refuse to consider the strengths offered by supporters of either candidate during a debate.  We now have flame wars and snarky character attacks.  It’s everywhere…. “My guy is great, your guy sucks”

So, how is that different from the conduct practiced by leftists?  READ THE REST
Since we're all endowed by our Creator with free speech, no one is going to stop you from saying anything you want to say.

Thing is, people are going to quit listening.  Is a rant really a rant if no one reads it?  Hmmmm...

Quit calling Trump supporters stupid...

or low-information, morons, trailer trash, red-necks, ignorant, immoral, non-Christian, homophobes, xenophobes, and anti-family.

It's become rather tiresome.

And it's certainly nonproductive.

It makes no never mind if you support Cruz or Trump.  One of them will be the nominee.  We're supposed to be on the same side.  Let's try acting like it.

The other morning, after lighting up my computer, I did my usual perusal of the news.  I always start with Drudge, and in the past, many other "news" sources.  Those that have chosen their savior™ are off my reading list.  I have better things to do than read unhinged rants.

Next I hit Feedly, which has close to 300 feeds from various blogs.  If a title is of the unhinged variety, I just keep scrolling.

When I had completely run out of things to read, I glanced at the clock.  Only 18 minutes had passed.  18 minutes.

The upside of this is I have lots more time every day to do other things.  The downside is I have lots more time every day to do other things, and I'm so out of the habit of doing other things, it has left me a bit discombobulated.

Here he is sitting with Raul Castro, his America hating wife, two spoiled spawn, and freeloading mother-in-law just hours after the Islamist terror attack in Brussels.

How about this instead:

“This whole thing will get worse as time gets by. Brussels is in really bad shape and many cities will be this way with what’s taking place. It’s really the policies of people who don’t know what they’re doing. They see what’s happening and they allow it to happen.”   Donald Trump

“Today’s attacks in Belgium underscores that this is a war. This is not an isolated incident. This is not a lone wolf. ISIS had declared jihad. … The time for the president’s political correctness has passed. … We absolutely have to revisit our immigration policy across the board to prevent Islamic terrorists from coming in.”  Ted Cruz

And in case you're in the cabal that will not vote for Trump if he is the nominee, which is the same as a vote for Hillary, watch the following video to freshen your memory about who we're dealing with.
