Julian Assange: Hero or Traitor?...

you be the judge.

And if you're waiting for clarity from the MSM, your vision will be forever clouded.

Yeah - I know that I have three videos lined up like little soldiers, but instead of floating around Facecrap doing absolutely nothing to improve your life, spend some time listening to people who try their best to be actual journalists.

And since I mentioned Facecrap, what's with them no longer alerting you which of your friends has done an update?  It means that you have to go to your friends list and sift through them one by one to see who has updated.  On purpose?  You bethcha! Who the hell has time for that nonsense.  Now all you see is ads.

Lara Logan's interview with Mark Levin put's the MSM "journalists" in perspective.

Magical Monday: Spend it with Mark Levin and Victor Davis Hanson...

have you planned your week yet?

"Today is the first day of the rest of your life"

Sounds good, right?

Except I think that's rather short notice to get your life in order.

How about this:

Monday is the first day of the rest of your week.

That's better - bigger than an acorn and smaller than a breadbox.

My long time readers know that I'm a bit of a planning freak because if I didn't plan nothing of importance would ever get done.

You don't need to be all OCD to have some insight as to what you need to do this week.  A simple calendar or a to-do list on the back of an old envelope will do just fine until you get the habit, but you will find having a little bit more detailed tracking system will improve your life.
Don't be this kitteh

For instance, this week is Thanksgiving.  Ordinarily, when a trip to Costco was on my list Wednesday after history club would be my preferred time.  Wait - the day before Thanksgiving and Costco in the same sentence makes my blood freeze solid in my veins.  So this morning I will be at Costco when the doors open at 10 am.

After my planning session last night I now know exactly what has to be done all they way through Thursday.  And so I settled down to watch this most excellent interview with Victor Davis Hanson.

It is well worth your time to listen to a super smart guy chat with Mark Levin (who is also no slouch in the brain department.)  Maybe listen at lunch time?

Mark Levin interviews Jon Voight: "We've been attacked by an evil force"...

a beautiful interview for Sunday.

Mark Levin interviews Jon Voight about Jon's migration from Hollywood progressivism to conservatism.

Jon Voight (Part 2) Donald Trump, God, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Epistle for the Twenty First Sunday after Pentecost
Douay-Rheims Bible

[10] Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power. [11] Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. [12] For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. [13] Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect. [14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice, [15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace:[16] In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. [17] And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).

Mark Levin: Mueller Probe Unconstitutional...

when has that ever stopped the commie/marxist/libtards?

I shall be missing for a day or two after my first cataract surgery tomorrow. The doctors insist I chill for a day or two afterwards.  I'm looking forward to better sight, and I thank everyone who has helped out with donations (see upper right) to help to defray the additional out-or-pocket costs of over $2000.00.

Are you as disturbed as I am? Illegal wire taps, Charles Murray protest, OFA, convicted terrorist and murderer Rasmea Yousef Odeh a leader of the Day Without Women, and crazy Loretta Lynch...

this is way more serious than we could ever imagine.

Why?

Because it would never occur to those of us who lean right to impede and/or physically assault someone who held different views.  Did we block the crazy ladies who march™?  Do we riot when a libtard is going to give a speech?  Do we carry around signs with vulgar language and wear sexually explicit costumes?  Do we smash windows, flip over cars, and burn down buildings when we become a wee bit pissed off?

Obviously, those are all rhetorical questions.

It is the very reason I doubt we're going to be ready for what's heading toward us in the way of civil discord.  If we can't imagine acting out in such a manner, it's hard, if not impossible, to imagine anyone else doing so.

Don't be caught unaware.

It doesn't take very many paid protesters to rile up a crowd of useful idiots.  It's happened before and it will happen again.

I'm going to step out on a limb here and state that I believe Trump knew from day one that he was being tapped.  It is inconceivable that he would not have Trump Tower swept by security which would include a check on his phones.  This is not Trump's first bull ride in a rodeo.  I think he knew and acted accordingly and kept the knowledge tucked away for future use.  And that time has arrived.

Mark Levin and Sue Payne of WCBM...

the latest shiny object.

I'm not sure if it is possible for anyone to have missed the story of Sue Payne's call to the Mark Levin Show about a conference call about immigration that is very disturbing.

I'm not going to repeat the details of the call.  They're at the link above in case for some reason you haven't bumped into them - an occurrence I highly doubt, or you can listen to it below.

Supposedly, Ms Payne was inadvertently included on a conference call that included 16 members of Obama’s Cabinet as well as La Raza’s Cecilia Nunoz.

This story is just about everywhere and is not being questioned or challenged.

Am I calling Ms Payne a liar?  No.

Do I think it's true?  I have no idea, and neither do you.

Do I think it's plausible?  Yes, and so does everyone else or they wouldn't be repeating it with out any modifiers.

The only person identified is Cecilia Nunoz.  Who are the 16 members of the Cabinet on this call?

What I find disturbing is that everyone is willing to repeat and report this as though it's the absolute truth without any corroboration.

I'm not suggesting that we ignore these revelations, and I am by no means defending the Obama administration.  But these things have to be reported accurately, and that means calling them what they are; alleged and not cast in stone.

Nullification vs Article 5 Convention...

important.

From Reaganite Republican:

Who's Next to Follow South Carolina's Lead on the FULL State Nullification of Obamacare? (Yoo-hoo, Rick Perry...)

From Publius Huldah:

Fair warning:  This article is lengthy with many links.  It is not an easy read, but a very necessary read.  I happen to agree with this very brilliant woman.  Also please access her many links on the sidebar. A wealth of information.

Mark Levin Refuted: Keep the Feds in Check with Nullification, not Amendments!

[...]  The claims of the nullification deniers have been proven to be false.  To persist in those claims – or to do as Levin seems to do and ignore the remedy of nullification – is intellectually and morally indefensible.  So why don’t they apologize to the public and recant their errors?

Instead, they continue to tell us that what we need is a “convention of the States” (which Levin and his mentors insist is provided by Article V of the Constitution) to propose amendments to the Constitution, and that this is the only way out.

Yes, they tell us, the only way to deal with a federal government which consistently ignores and tramples over the Constitution is …. to amend the Constitution!
Do you see how silly that is?  Take the time to Read it All

Who are the real enemies of the USA?...

trees, meet forest.

Does Obama really know what's going on?  Probably not, nor does he care.  As a malignant narcissist, who cares only about flying around in his tax-payer supported really big plane, hobnobbing with the scum of Hollywood, and golfing - that is, when he's not playing basketball and watching ESPN, he is, no doubt, not interested nor is he kept in the loop.

I believe him when he repeatably says, "I found out about this or that when you, the little people, did."  Or, "I had no notion of such a thing being said about Benghazi."  Really?

His handlers purposely keep him busy flying all over the country to talk to high school kids and raising money for the democratic party.

The IRS is targeting conservatives.  Do the low-info voters not understand that the same corrupt agency is  going to be doling out their health care?

We're supposed to be upset because the AP had a bunch of their phones tapped?  These are the people that have been carrying Obama's water for years.  Dead bodies in Benghazi?  Just some disposable people that were sacrificed to satisfy the machine.

So the question is:  Is there any independent thinker left in this country who does not realize that we are dealing with something much larger than the loser in the White House and his paid flacks like Jay Carney?  I've never believed in the idea that there was a central conspiracy to take down the United States.  That would require a large group of people to act in concert, something that is an impossibility due to the nature of humans.  But, there should be no denying that there may be several groups struggling to rearrange this country in order fill their own coffers.

I was against the concept of impeachment, which I might remind you does not automatically mean his skanky skinny ass will be thrown out of office, because I didn't think it would work due to a majority of democrats in the Senate.  However, many of those senators are up for re-election in 2014.  If the American public becomes disgusted enough these senators will gleefully throw Obama off the cliff to insure their re-election.

The upside is listening to Jay Carney being thrashed in the White House briefing which is ongoing live from C-Span.

Mark Levin and a rant: I'm sick of people attacking Medicare and Social Security...

when this government wastes trillions of dollars on nonsense.

Allow me to repeat:

I (unfortunately) am on Medicare.   I did not have a choice.  And neither did a bunch of other seniors.

We did not ask for this.  We were forced.  We paid in an entire lifetime of funds, as did our employers. Now they call this an "entitlement."  Let's make this clear.  It is not an unfunded entitlement.  I paid for it.  And furthermore, it's not, and never has been, "free."  I still pay.   I pay a premium every month and I pay extra for Medicare Advantage.  What part of that is so hard to understand?

Please explain to me why these two programs are the first to be demonized??  I'll tell you why.  Because our government, the one that claims it "cares", spent that money.  The money we all paid in month after month, year after year, is gone.  Gone!

I keep hearing that to fix our economic problems, we have to slash Social Security and Medicare.  How about instead we cut welfare to illegal immigrants, unwed mothers, fake disability claims, aid to foreign countries, subsidies to "green energy, and payouts to unions?"

Postal workers retire with huge pensions.  What did they do to receive that?  They provided poor and over-priced service, that's what.  Notice anyone demonizing them?

Do I think that SS and Medicare should be reformed?  You bet I do!  If my payments to SS for the past 52 years had been wisely invested, I would be a millionaire today.

Today,  I was having fun cooking lobster tails, and whole lobsters at one of our local grocery store.   I instructed people on how to cook, clean, and serve lobster.  I'm 67 years old and earn way over the minimum wage, because I provide a valuable service.

All you younger whippersnappers who make fun of the little old lady or man who greets you at Wal-Mart, or in my case, serves you lobster, we are the future.  Minimum wage?  We deserve it, and deserve to receive more.  Because we're worth it!!

Epilogue of "Ameritopia" by Mark Levin available free online...

H/T for the link to Dan Riehl, who will be posting his review at Big Government hopefully on Monday.

epilogue is now available online

In the epilogue, Levin asks the question:

The essential question is whether, in America, the people’s
psychology has been so successfully warped, the individual’s spirit
so thoroughly trounced, and the civil society’s institutions so effectively
overwhelmed that revival is possible. Have too many
among us already surrendered or been conquered? Can the people
overcome the constant and relentless influences of ideological
indoctrination, economic manipulation, and administrative coerciveness,
or have they become hopelessly entangled in and dependent
on a ubiquitous federal government? Have the Pavlovian
appeals to radical egalitarianism, and the fomenting of jealousy
and faction through class warfare and collectivism, conditioned
the people to accept or even demand compulsory uniformity as
just and righteous? Is it accepted as legitimate and routine that
the government has sufficient license to act whenever it claims to
do so for the good of the people and against the selfishness of the
individual?
