If John McCain craved attention, he found a really crappy way of getting it...

and his "no" vote on Odumbocare repeal tells us everything we need to know about him.

And what's with all the drama, John?

Read his statement below the video.

As for Scaramucci and his language?  The outrage is laughable.  When you consider that just about everyone online is bleating out WTH's, "WTF's", and OMG's are now clutching their pearls and slapping a cold pack on their forehead because Scaramucci said the "F" word.

The nice part is his rather unprofessional language has pushed Russia off the front page.

Transgenders in the service?  Nope! And for good reason.  Know what?  Fat people can't serve either.

U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) released the following statement today on voting “no” on the so-called “skinny repeal” of Obamacare:
“From the beginning, I have believed that Obamacare should be repealed and replaced with a solution that increases competition, lowers costs, and improves care for the American people. The so-called ‘skinny repeal’ amendment the Senate voted on today would not accomplish those goals. While the amendment would have repealed some of Obamacare’s most burdensome regulations, it offered no replacement to actually reform our health care system and deliver affordable, quality health care to our citizens. The Speaker’s statement that the House would be ‘willing’ to go to conference does not ease my concern that this shell of a bill could be taken up and passed at any time.
“I’ve stated time and time again that one of the major failures of Obamacare was that it was rammed through Congress by Democrats on a strict-party line basis without a single Republican vote. We should not make the mistakes of the past that has led to Obamacare’s collapse, including in my home state of Arizona where premiums are skyrocketing and health care providers are fleeing the marketplace. We must now return to the correct way of legislating and send the bill back to committee, hold hearings, receive input from both sides of aisle, heed the recommendations of nation’s governors, and produce a bill that finally delivers affordable health care for the American people. We must do the hard work our citizens expect of us and deserve.”

Protest exhaustion, TrumpCare, Deep State, and Samantha Bee...

how many of you are as exhausted as I am?

We have the ladies who march™ running around trying to cause mayhem - and not doing a very good job of it because most people are just so tired of all the protests.

Trumpcare?

Then we have the wrangling over what is supposed to be phase one of dumping Odumbocare.  Rand Paul is trying to rip the throat out of Paul Ryan claiming phase one is no more than Odumbocare lite.

 Is it?

I don't know.

Odumbocare was passed in a dubious fashion, rolled out in segments like some evil tapeworm, and has so thoroughly skewed the entire insurance market that I'm not sure how you unwind this mess.

I'm of the mind to wait and see what happens next.

Deep State

Remember when the only people talking about "deep state" were the soundly criticized conspiracy theory wackos?   I do.

Samantha Bee

Samantha Bee
Disclaimer:  What comes next is predicated on my being only vaguely familiar with who this woman is and knowing nothing about some supposedly comedy show she's on.  I've seen her name pop up on different sites, and have refrained from reading the articles because I'm not one bit interested in what she's doing or saying.

However, I did read that she's being attacked for making some off-hand comment about "Nazi haircuts" in some skit about CPAC.  From what I understand one of the pictures she used was of some fellow at the conference who has brain cancer - hence the haircut.

Here's my thoughts:
  • I don't give and rat's rear patootie what this woman said.
  • Wasn't Donald Trump soundly attacked for "mocking disabled people"?
  • Did we not defend Donald Trump for his actions?
  • There was no way for her to know that this young man had brain cancer.
  • She apologized and the show also donated $1000.00 toward this young man's treatment
Wasn't that good enough for everyone?

Apparently not.

The young man in question doesn't like her apology. He thinks it was a "half apology."  I'm sorry this young man has cancer.  Cancer sucks.  Of course, all this attention has driven his GoFundMe donations into the stratosphere.  Good for him.

And another suggestion:  Let's quit giving this woman so much free publicity.  I've never heard of her show, have no idea where this show is broadcast, and highly doubt she has one tiny bit of influence on much of anything.

 Let's move on.

Trey Gowdy to Jonathan Gruber: Did You Apologize Because You Said It Or Meant It?...

Gowdy asks the squirming little worm what every American would like to ask, and we thank him.

and...

Issa asks one of the most important questions at the 6:03 mark.   YES!!!

No spoiler alert - you'll have to watch. It's an insight that I had from day one of the Gruber tapes coming out about these "educated beyond their intelligence" self-proclaimed elitists.

They hold you in contempt.  They do think you, the American public, are stupid.  Stupid is their favorite word.   And that applies to just about every libtard who spends his time navel gazing over their soy lattes at the nearest hipster coffee house where a cup of coffee costs more than a down-payment on a house, and where they can gather with their friends and chortle about the silly conservatives and their outmoded ideas of God and country.

What is happening with Obamacare and the devastation it is wreaking on the economy and the healthcare industry is exactly what we said would happen.  And they call us stupid?

Sunday, November 16, 2014

Melissa Francis Silenced by CNBC and finally Huffington Post says something about Gruber...

and the reactions are what we could expect from the libtards.

I've been scanning Huff and Puff for days now to see if they would say anything about the Gruber tapes.

Finally today (Sunday, Nov. 16th 2014), I spied a very small piece, David Axelrod Slams Jonathan Gruber Over Obamacare Comments,  in which they quoted Axelrod's tweet:
As one who worked hard to make ACA and its benefits clear, let me say: if you looked up "stupid" in the dictionary, you'd find Gruber's picture.
And the article further quoted Odumbo as saying today from a presser in Australia:
“The fact that an adviser who was never on our staff expressed an opinion that I completely disagree with in terms of the voters is not a reflection on the actual process that was run,” Obama said, according to Politico.
“I would just advise every press outlet here: Pull up every clip and every story. I think it’s fair to say there was not a provision in the health care law that was not extensively debated and was fully transparent. ... It was a tough debate.”
Never on our staff?  Let me understand this; Nancy Pelosi is on video quoting the wonderful work Jonathan Gruber did on Obamacare back in 2009, and she now claims she doesn't know who he is.

And Gruber claimed in 2012 that he met with Obama at the White House to work on Obamacare.

This "nobody" who "was never on our staff" was paid close to 400K by the White House to be a nobody who was not on their staff.  Wish I could get a job like that.

And this nobody went on to earn many millions from various states to help them set up their exchanges, not to mention the 2 million he has earned from HHS over the past seven years for helping them with Medicare assessments.

So far, Obama the sock puppet and his puppet masters have blown billions of dollars in order for you to lose your insurance.  They're going to fine you, take away your doctor, and raise your premiums through the stratosphere while expanding the deductible.

That's your money they flushed down the crapper - at least those of you who still have a job.

Explain to me why people are not marching on Washington, DC with pitchforks and torches.  Have we become such sheeple that this is acceptable?   Or are we so glued to our smart phones and big screen TVs that we don't even care anymore?

That little article has been up for over three hours and there is not one comment posted.  There are, however, Facebook conversations going on.

What I saw was astonishing.

First listen to what Melissa Francis has to say about being silenced and then scroll down and read some of the comments from Huff and Puff.

There is none so blind as those who will not see.

Allow me to remind you that these people are adults and have access to all the same information we do. And.................they vote.

Speak to the sponge...

And let me also state that I've been snookered in the past.  When I did my research and discovered the aforementioned snookering, I admitted I'd been snookered.  Because that's what intelligent adults do.

My kitchen sponge is smarter than these commenters.

It's utterly absurd to say that the ACA was passed secretly or that there was intentional obfuscation. The law passed after a whole lot of debate (but dismissal of liberal ideas). Anyone paying attention and following legitimate media knew that they were debating and about to pass a reform bill comprised of an individual mandate and insurance exchanges. If you did not know then it's the fault of the media you watch/read (or the Republican politicians who were lying about death panels).

Obamacare architect, Jonathan Gruber, can't keep his mouth shut and the hole he's been digging keeps getting deeper...

all the while trying to control his flapping hands while dropping the "basically" bomb.

and

telling us we're stupid because we're "misreading" the law.

and

we're not "sensibly" reading the law

and

stating: "Why would congress write a law that unraveled itself?"

Why indeed, Jonathan?

Perhaps someone should have read it before passing it.

Trey Gowdy on Jonathan Gruber...

“If you want to see how stupid our fellow citizens are, take a look at last Tuesday night, because they rejected you, this bill and this administration.”

Some observations and questions about Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber calling libtards stupid...

because he couldn't have been calling conservatives stupid because we already knew the truth.

First question:  Why is everyone so shocked?

First observation:  In the first sentence he uses the word "literally."  Ouch!

Second question:  Why is he flapping his hands around in imitation of the worst female newscasters?  Women who do this are not to be considered serious in my opinion.  Men who do this should have their sexuality questioned.

Second observation:  At approximately :35 he uses the word "basically."  Double ouch!

Third observation:  At :38 he uses "basically" again.  Is there such a thing as a triple ouch?

As for the rest of everything he said.  Who cares?  It just validates what we've always known as the truth.

Obama: It's your fault if your health care costs have gone up...

is it possible to speak for 5 minutes and say absolutely nothing (except for some dissembling lies?)

Obama tells the general manager at Millennium Steel that his company's health costs are rising because he's not "shopping correctly."

He claims Obamacare has signed up 10 million people - a figure pulled out of thin air.  Ask yourself how many of those people are on Medicaid.  Then ask yourself who is paying subsidies for the others. If you're having trouble coming up with an answer (not that I think my above average readers will have a problem with the questions), allow me to help;
 you are.

GAO Confirms What Every Thinking Person Already Knew: Taxpayers on the Hook to Pay for "FREE" Abortions...

libtards everywhere are doing the happy dance 'cause women will not be denied free "health care" unless, of course, you are one of the millions of future women ripped from her mother's womb.

But, not to worry.  Hundreds of thousands of you schlubs who signed up for Obamacare will lose your coverage.

Bart Stupak could not be reached for comment.

From Susan B. Anthony List:
The non-partisan government watchdog, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), has released a new report that identifies 1,036 ObamaCare plans that cover abortion on demand and receive taxpayer subsidies. The GAO report also found that nearly all of the insurance issuers sampled are not itemizing the required separate abortion surcharge on its bills – confirming that the Obama Administration is ignoring the law’s abortion accounting gimmick. The report further found that disclosure of abortion coverage in plans is inconsistent, confirming criticisms from both sides of the abortion debate that transparency of coverage is lacking. The report directly contradicts President Obama’s 2009 promise that “under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions” and his claim of being “the most transparent administration in history.”

“Today’s report is confirmation that ObamaCare is a massive expansion of abortion on demand, paid for by the taxpayers,” said Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “ObamaCare breaks from the long tradition of the Hyde Amendment, which has prevented taxpayer funding of abortion with broad public support, and was not included in the law.”

“Shame on Senators like Mary Landrieu, Mark Pryor, and Kay Hagan – all of whom come from strong pro-life states and voted for taxpayer funding of abortion in ObamaCare,” continued Dannenfelser. “The GAO report is damning evidence that they betrayed their constituents in casting a vote for the largest expansion of taxpayer funding of abortion on demand since Roe. The No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act gives these Senators a prime opportunity to right a grave wrong, but they continue to stand with Harry Reid and the abortion lobby instead of their constituents by blocking a vote on it.”

The GAO report further confirms the argument made by the Susan B. Anthony List that a vote for ObamaCare was a vote in favor of taxpayer-funded abortion. Last week, SBA List won a four year legal battle in Ohio, where the group fought for the right to criticize elected officials who voted for ObamaCare as having voted for taxpayer-funded abortion.

The only thing our elected officials can find to do is worry about free birth control for women?...

really?
WASHINGTON — Democrats in Congress said Tuesday that they had developed legislation to override the Supreme Court decision on contraceptives. The bill would ensure that women had access to insurance coverage for birth control even if they worked for businesses that had religious objections.
The bill, put together in consultation with the Obama administration, would require for-profit corporations like Hobby Lobby Stores to provide and pay for contraceptive coverage, along with other preventive health services, under the Affordable Care Act.  read the rest

This bill even has a name:  The ‘Protect Women’s Health From Corporate Interference Act of 2014’ (S. 2578)

Sigh.

I don't have much faith in the future of this country if this is on the top of the list for our legislative body.

In addition, the ignorant voters who actually believe women are being denied health care is staggering in its stupidity.

I never thought I'd see the day when grown people would be hopping around DC exclaiming the falsehood that somehow corporations were denying health care to women.

These poor oppressed women have been buying their own birth control for over fifty years.

No one is denying them anything.

In fact, Hobby Lobby is providing 16 different birth control pills to its employees.  They draw the line at providing abortaficients.

It was never an issue until George Stephanopoulos brought it up at one of the presidential debates.

The sheeple on the left quickly bought into the phony "war on women."

The only war we should be having is against stupid people.

Even the USCCB is getting into it:

Cardinal O’Malley, Archbishop Lori to Senate: Oppose Bill that Attacks Religious Freedom

July 14, 2014

WASHINGTON—In a letter sent July 14 to all U.S. Senators, Cardinal Seán O’Malley of Boston and Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore stated their “strong opposition to the misnamed ‘Protect Women’s Health From Corporate Interference Act of 2014’ (S. 2578).” Cardinal O’Malley and Archbishop Lori chair the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’s Committee on Pro-Life Activities and Ad Hoc Committee for Religious Liberty, respectively.

“Though cast as a response to the Supreme Court’s narrow decision in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, the bill ranges far beyond that decision, potentially attacking all existing federal protections of conscience and religious freedom regarding health coverage mandates,” they wrote.

The two bishops identified several areas of concern with the bill, including its unprecedented curtailment of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993; its potential for overriding other federal conscience protections, including the Hyde-Weldon amendment on abortion; its application to coverage mandates beyond the HHS contraceptive mandate; its application to employers beyond for-profit businesses; and its denial of religious freedom for employees and their minor dependents, not just employers.

“In short, the bill does not befit a nation committed to religious liberty. Indeed, if it were to pass, it would call that commitment into question. Nor does it show a genuine commitment to expanded health coverage, as it would pressure many Americans of faith to stop providing or purchasing health coverage altogether. We oppose the bill and urge you to reject it,” they wrote.

Full text of the letter is available online: www.usccb.org/issues-and-action/religious-liberty/upload/07-14-14-S-2578-Cardinal-O-Malley-Archbishop-Lori-to-Senate.pdf

Well, bishops, perhaps you should have thought of all this before you jumped on the Obamacare bandwagon.  Isn't there an old saying about sleeping with dogs?

I have news for you.  Obama and his puppet masters don't care what you think.

Idaho Introduces Bill to Nullify EPA Regulations

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

I thought my capacity for being shocked had reached its limits...

I was wrong.

Nice Deb has put it all together for us - and we thank her.
On Monday night’s Kelly File, Megyn Kelly covered the  ObamaCare Employer Mandate delay, focusing “on one little nugget” that was “found under a mountain of new regulations” which stipulates that in order to be eligible for this gift from the White House, “the employer may not reduce the size of its workforce or its overall hours of service of its employees.”

“Basically”, she continued, “what the government is telling employers is that you will not fire a single person. You will not lay off a single person – if you want to take advantage of our gift. And you have to certify it under penalty of perjury to the IRS that you didn’t do that!”  READ THE REST and be sure and watch the videos
I will be very busy today and either today or tomorrow my computer will be whisked away by my guru to be updated to Windows 7.  I will miss XP.
