What I learned while on sabbatical...

 perfect discussion for the Sunday before Ash Wednesday.

The first object of my attention was my habits. I made a concentrated effort to reform some of my sloppy ways. That alone changes so much in our life.

I believed being online for many hours a day was harmful. Now I know it is. And so I've severely limited the sites I visit.  During the past few months I tended to all my duties associated with my state in life before even approaching my computer. I might add in most cases these tasks were written in my agenda the evening before - usually after spending a bit of time cogitating in my journal. 

I try to stick to the 3-3-3 method to prioritize and it's working like a charm.

• Every quarter, you set three goals that you want to achieve in the three months ahead.
• Each week, you define the three objectives that will have the most impact on your quarterly goals.
• Every day, you choose the three tasks that will help you make the most progress toward your weekly objectives.

By doing this I've managed to fix the tiles on my kitchen floor, paint my bathroom, while learning how to tape and mud. I've used joint compound before, but have never taped. Piece of cake!  I have yet to have my new toilet installed and will miss my deadline for that, but not by much. 

All my garden seeds are ready for planting, and I'll start pruning trees next week (yay! - love to prune.)

I'm back at the gym after my silly surgery, continue to intermittent fast, aka time- restricted-eating, for my health,  As it happens, many medical people in the know have discovered time-restricted-eating helps protect you against the Wuflu and all sorts of other health problems.  Dr. Jason Fung is the master of explaining the science behind intermittent fasting in his two books - The Obesity Code*, and The Diabetes Code.*

The best resource for helping with habits is Atomic Habits*, by James Clear. I acquired this book back on January 10, 2019 and this past year (2021) it was, by all accounts, the largest selling book on Amazon. The hardbound is on sale right now and I highly recommend the paper version over Kindle. 

Ukraine

It happens I'm reading a novel set during the final year of WWII. The descriptions of the bombings are so similar to what is happening in Ukraine at the moment.  It's all very sad, and it reminds me how blessed we are in this country - at least so far. 

My good friend Lone Star Parson has a post on the spiritual and religious elements in play about what is going on. Not only do I believe Brandon will screw this up, I also know it. Sigh...

Is the Wuflu finally dead?

Oh, hell noes.  First off, the elites have Ukraine as a distraction claiming inflation is all Russia's fault, and by extension, Trump's fault. The morons on the left are already bleating Russia, Russia, Russia, Trump, Trump, Trump. Yeah - whatever.

Do you really believe after seeing how the sheeple acquiesced and cowered in fear the monsters are just going to abandon such a great way to control?  It's time for you to know it's not going away, and make appropriate decisions based on that knowledge.  Unfortunately, Washington State will, no doubt, be one of the first in line to impose passports meaning we'll be kicking even more Washingtonians out of our way at our local Post Falls, Idaho Walmart and Super I.

Ash Wednesday

This coming Wednesday, most believing Christians will "celebrate" Ash Wednesday, starting off my favorite liturgical season.  Some of us will be lucky enough to have ashes smeared on our foreheads in the shape of a cross to signify  death and repentance. How's that for a smack upside the head?

The ashes come from a previous Palm Sunday. The palms are burned, the ashes collected, crushed, and mixed with a bit of holy oil.

The ashes are blessed by the priest during the Ash Wednesday Mass after the homily. People are invited to come forward, and the ashes are applied to each person’s forehead in the shape of a cross (we hope - sometimes it's more of a blob) as the minister says, “Remember that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return.”

The rest of the day, we'll be assailed by helpful people telling us we have dirt on our forehead.  NB: It's really not too Christian to reply, "WTHell, you pagan heathen. Don't you know it's Ash Wednesday?" Please just smile all holy and sphinx like, nod, and say, "Thank you."

The Jab is Killing People...

 just as planned.

Yesterday, I spoke with a nice young man at the grocery store who has 8 years into  service in the Navy . His plans are to retire from service in about a year.  I asked him if they were carrying out the mandates. Sadly, he said he had the jab the day before, because without it his entire 8 years of service would be gone. Pfffft. Non-existent. 

He didn't want the jab, was scared, but felt, in his exact words, he "had no choice."  It was certainly too late to tell him he did have a choice, and while sh*t canning 8 years of hard work and service to our country was not a happy occurrence, it was better than the possibility of an early death. Only a monster would say that to someone in his position, and while I may be an annoying old woman, I'm not a monster.  I told him I'd pray for him and he thanked me and gave me a hug. 

And now they want to mass jab 5 to 11 year olds?  Why? 

For those of us of "a certain age", we are able to remember a time when certain aspects of society seemed to go mad. But one thing we have not encountered is the entire world falling off the rails at the same time, due I'm sure in part to our rapid communications.  It's frightening.

Do you realize (most) of us start our day with the horrific "news" spewing forth from blackened souls? I call that a real crappy way to begin each day.

Only the most hardened will survive the onslaught of the damage this does to our psyches.  I even admit to sometimes starting my day with hope and faith only to be  driven into a state of anxiety by the time I've perused the "news."  I put "news" in scare quotes because most of it is not really news, but propaganda to keep us in a state of fear. Fearful people are easily controllable people.  So far I have thankfully avoided the fear part. 

What to do? What to do?

I can't stress this enough - you must connect with God - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit post haste.  Do not neglect your morning prayers (guilty!), look around at the wonders of God's creation, and give thanks for all you have.

If the news is causing you to take a deep dive into fear, then by all means, avoid it.

I'm going to take just a moment to address "conservative" radio since I don't watch TV.  I have the radio going most days while I'm working on my many projects. Yesterday, while moving the washer and dryer out of their cubby hole (a nightmare job) to finish painting the walls, I was listening to Clay and Buck who took over Rush's timeslot. 

Their guest was a doctor, from John's Hopkins, whose main message was "everyone should get the jab."  Well, who can argue with a doctor from John's Hopkins? Now Buck and Clay maintain everyone should make their own decisions concerning being injected with an unknown substance, and there may be certain risks associated with the jab thereby quasi maintaining their status as conservative. And yet, this is what that doctor said concerning natural immunity vs the "vaccine": emphasis mine

Well, ignoring natural immunity has put the credibility of public health, because we really want to encourage — I want to encourage, most doctors want to encourage — all adults who have not had the infection to get vaccinated and to do it quickly. And that message got really hurt by all this dishonesty around natural immunity, ignoring it, blowing it off.

So that was a big setback, and I think part of the issue right now is that they are coming around way too late. It’s sad because, to be honest with you, tens of thousands of Americans died December through April when we were rationing our limited vaccine supply and we were giving it to people with natural immunity. We should have had them step aside. Dr. Marty Makary

BUCK: And what about the numbers of those who are in the ICU who are vaccinated versus not vaccinated? Are we getting really good data on that?

DR. MAKARY: I think we are, but what they’re actually doing is when they’re saying people are in there who have been vaccinated, some of those are just incidental and some people are saying they’ve been vaccinated, and they really haven’t. So really almost everybody in the hospital with covid and very sick is an unvaccinated adult, and that’s where we should be focusing all of our efforts.

That is a provable blatant lie! 

Following Clay and Buck is mouth breather, Sean Hannity.  Seriously folks, if I have to hear him say one more time, "People are begging me to tell them what to do, but I'm not a doctor, so I won't do it."  Are you serious?  People are begging for advice from Hannity concerning their health?  If you believe that, it's time for another reality check, or maybe checking yourself into rehab. 

Day after day he touts the party line of consulting with your doctor, looking at your situation, blah, blah, blah.  Yet, his only guests are ones who push the jab.

It harkens back to a question I asked back on July 26: Who Do You Trust? The answer is, no one!

Do not even attempt to tell me these people are not coerced into spreading propaganda in order to keep their cushy jobs.

But, what can I do?...

I'm not here to tell you what to do with the upcoming jab mandates. 

But, I will tell you what I'm going to do.

First, I don't think this whole crazy idea the global commies have cooked up at their last black mass will work.  A huge number of states are already planning lawsuits, and from my meanderings around the local shops the number of people who say they will quit before taking a jab is quite large. But, having been a good and honorable girl scout I believe in being prepared - just in case.

I tend to agree with Jesse Kelley when he tells us if your boss calls you into his office and declares you must get the jab, to not go off half cocked, give the boss the middle finger salute, and storm out.  His advice is to organize, organize, organize.

I don't have a job to lose so I thought hard about what I could do by way of resistance. After talking to a bunch of my employee friends at Wallyworld last week who said they would quit before taking the jab, it occurred to me what my job would be.

Later today I'll head back over to Wallyworld and hunt down my employee friend who has worked there since the store opened in 2002. She's in middle management now and has a lot of respect from the other employees and will quit before taking the jab.  I'm going to drag her off into a corner and tell her if Wallyworld gives them a mandate and timeline for compliance, she should nod her head and say, "Okay." Then she should round up her 10 - 20 most trusted employees who also do not want the jab. After they're organized into a cohesive group, rounding up the rest of the staff will be easy.  They should revisit the store manager and tell him (he's new and a real jerk) to convey to the district manager that just about the entire employee base will be leaving their jobs if this unlawful mandate is enforced.  I will make myself available to assist with the organizing and be the cheer leader. I love organizing and even more I love stirring sh*t!

Right now that store is short by 125 employees.  Can the store operate if another  30, 40, or all the employees walk out? I think unions have a name for that sort of event.  Hmmmmm, let's see - I think they call it a strike. Yeah - a strike.

When I get through organizing Wallyworld, I will start on any other store in Post Falls or Coeur d'Alene that needs my help.

I wonder if there's a way to bring them and the other vaxx/mask objectors together to provide services that we're being frozen out of. For example, medical people could open clinics for the unvaxxed. Food, service workers, and truck drivers could network with farmers to deliver goods and services to open markets, etc. What do you think?

It really is not much different from when I lived somewhere else (which will remain unnamed for obvious reasons.) It was a smallish town at that time and it existed with a healthy dose of bartering.  Just about everyone bartered. Doctors, dentists, chiropractors, the local radio station, plumbers, electricians, farmers, hairdressers, restaurants, you name it - they bartered. It was wonderful.

Disclosure: Since this activity is considered an underground economy, and even tax dodging (for shame!) I never, ever participated in any way what-so-ever.  Girl scout honor!!

If you are a working person facing this mandate you need to start your own organizing efforts now. Waiting until the cow patties are slamming into a fan is too late. 

Also, arm yourself with information. This interview with Dr. Christiane Northrup by Nicholas Veniamin is excellent. It's packed full of good information and also the ways to protect yourself and boost your immune system. I've seen Veniamin's name around quite a bit, but have never watched one of his interviews.  He's a dream interviewer who asks a question and then lets his guest talk without interruption.

The original video I was planning to post has disappeared from Rumble. What the hell is up with that? So here is two possibilities for information. The Alex Jones interview covers the same info. I have no idea if the first twitter video will even play. I don't have time to fool with all this. I do not make one red dime off this blog, don't have money to hire IT peeps, and have way too much work to do to spend all day trying to figure out what the hell is going on.  

And now the hysteria is on at our local North Idaho hospitals where they have started "crisis standards of care" since they our "overwhelmed" with Wuflu cases. That's a bunch of crap! I saw this coming when the powers that be were bemoaning the fact that North Idaho had the fewest jabs of the entire state.

What is Afghanistan really about?...

 if you're waiting for me to tell you, please consider therapy since I'm still trying to figure out Vietnam.

Back in the dark days of Vietnam, we didn't have a blizzard of news sources.  Now we suffer with a perpetual snow storm of information with no end in sight. Who to believe?  I think you all know my new mantra of "trust no one." Cynical? You betcha!

Not only did I spend years of my life trying to figure out what our involvement in Vietnam was about (back in those days I even had trouble keeping north and south Vietnam identified as to who was the "bad" guy), but now I've spent years trying to figure out what's up in Afghanistan.

Slowly, I'm starting to see a story emerge which is less than lovely, so I'll just point you to some sources at the end of the post.

Is this emergency in Afghanistan a diversion from the medical tyranny taking place across the globe?  It seems likely.  Since the FDA granted full approval to the Pfizer "vaccine" I expect the mandates to be pushed faster and harder.

Thanks to Mike Miles over at 90 Miles From Tyranny for alerting me to this video, which I'm pretty sure will go viral. Dr. Anne McCloskey from Northern Ireland has come out strongly against COVID hysteria, and the sinister agenda behind it - and we thank her. 

Last week, I re-watched the documentary Vaxxed - from Cover-Up to Catastrophe.  You can rent it on Youtube for $4.99, with the usual warning that it's a bunch of "misinformation" tin foil hate-wearing crap. 

Watching it again with what we now know about the CDC, FDA, WHO, big pharma, and the government in general was beyond disconcerting. If you watched it years ago or never watched it, I strongly suggest you re-watch or watch it for the first time.  

Let's clear something up right away. At no point do these people participating in the documentary vilify vaccines.  They simply said that giving children the combination MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine too early was putting the children in danger of autism.  They suggested that the vaccines be given individually and at an older age. They are not "anti-vaxxers." For advocating spreading out vaccines, they have been denigrated, maligned, and "canceled."

The following video of Michael Matt strings together some pretty horrific stuff going on in the Catholic Church.  You're not Catholic?  Let me clear up some more stuff.  I pay attention to what's happening in other churches to have a feel for the dangerous times we're in.  I also have a rule of not commenting on other churches problems.  It's not my place to do so.

So, if you're in the camp of "Catholics worship Mary" (we don't), or "statues" (also no), or that we're the whore of Babylon (we're not), you may still benefit by watching Mr. Matt. Even with all the scary stuff, he still manages to be uplifting and informative way, and it's a great way to spend 30 minutes. It's for all Christians - not just Catholics.

I know we'll be changing a few things around here. For a few years now, I've had the attitude of "who cares what a couple of old farts are doing?"  Now I realize it makes me part of the problem.

Fitts, because of her background, is focused on monetary policy and big banks, but don't forget the big four producers of the death jab have already made billions and stand to make billions more since the FDA has approved booster shots. And you can bet your bitty the "elites" have bought up tons of stock. Bastards!

As for our "conservative" talking heads?  How about listening to Clay Travis whine about his brother's upcoming wedding, and the fact that if he wants to attend he'll be forced to have a jab or purchase fake papers since the wedding is in New York. In his mind he has no choice.  What the hell? Is his brother getting married in a restaurant? Listen up, Clay - dollars to donuts your brother will have more than one wedding.  Miss this one and catch the next two.  Or, how about your brother moves his wedding so his guests don't have to compromise their very lives to attend. In the meantime, shut up! It's a weird world when Glenn Beck has "circled back" to relevancy and Alex Jones makes sense. 

The guy interviewing Fitts is the notorious anti-vaxxer Del Bigtree, producer of Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe.  The only thing they left off his Wiki page was his daily breakfast of par-boiled kittens.. Perhaps in light of the crap CDC, FDA, and NIH  is shoveling out now we should all watch Vaxxed. You can still rent it on YouTube for $4.99. I'll be re-watching it this afternoon when it becomes too hot to work outside. 

The constant drum beat of vaccine, vaccine, vaccine combined with our heat wave and being enveloped in the worse forest fire smoke we've ever experienced, is starting to drive me over the edge.  It's what "they" want - to drive us nuts. We must place our trust in God, and then do the right thing.

In just a few days, I've filled my One Tab with about 32 saved articles that tell us we're screwed. Not very uplifting.

Speaking of crazy, how about this?  A local guy posted a pic of his older adult daughter in her own kitchen feeding her approximately 14 month old baby a snack.  The kid is sitting in her highchair with mom seated in front of her, and I guess they were rocking out to Fleetwood Mac while smearing food everywhere. So - what's so crazy about that? Mom was wearing one of those pointy face masks that make people look like they have a pig snout.  Huh?  The question I have is does she wear that mask all the time? Babies need to see facial expressions as an important part of their development.  In my world, that's hyper crazy and qualifies as child abuse.

What can you do?

This massive takeover of our country, and even the world, by people who wish to control everyone, has to be handled one-on-one at the local level.  Do you have kids in school being mandated to wear masks?  Go to the school board meetings and voice your opinion. If they persist, remove your child from school. If a local store requires death jab "passports" to enter?  Voice your disapproval in person and then hit all the social media sites with your displeasure.  If your job is trying to force you into the jab? It might be time for a switch in careers, learn how to be more self sufficient, and maybe even move.  This one is tough, but you're going to have to decide whether to fight the battle now, or later in a quarantine camp.

Listen to this doctor at what appears to be a city council or health department meeting. He's very impressive, and he's doing what he can in his state in life, as are the people who have taken the time to also attend and voice their concerns.

I know everyone doesn't have the time or wherewithal to go to meetings and such. But you all have a friend, relative, or next door neighbor who may need to hear the truth. It's up to you to tell them.

It's official - I've gone to the dark side...

 when Alex Jones starts making sense.

To be fair, he's always been right way more than wrong, but I can't stand listening to him (makes me want a cough drop), and I always wonder why someone who pushes health supplements is so overweight.

However, the following video is mainly Mike Adams, The Health Ranger, who has a great voice and is easy on the eyes. 

Alex and Mike are going to get into the "why" of this mess that's unfolding before our very eyes.  New York mayor de Blasio has just declared bars, restaurants, gyms, theater, and other entertainment verboten, for those who have not taken the jab. Do you really think places like San Francisco, Minneapolis, Chicago are not going to be doing the same??  What's next? No entry to grocery stores or pharmacies? Many of the colleges are requiring vaccines to attend classes. And numerous big corps are mandating their employees must take the jab.

The "jabbed", as Mike Adams says, are walking incubation vessels for deadly bioweapons that are being spread to the un-jabbed, and it's all happening on purpose. The so-called vaccines are really gene therapy injections and the blame is already being placed on the un-jabbed for the outbreak of the "variations."  The so-called "vaccines" are really gene therapy injections.

This is exactly what the "fringe" doctors and virologists predicted would happen when the fake vaccine first hit the arms of the unsuspecting.

I read. I read a lot.  My idea of hell is a place with nothing to read.  I have many small books to read before Mass on Sunday. This past Sunday, it was a book about St. Michael the Archangel, originally published in 1962.

Let us, then, with confident trust invoke the aid and protection of this mighty Archangel whose shield bears the inscription: MI-CHA-EL --- "Quis ut Deus" --- Who is like unto God?

As I'm working away on this post, mouth-breather Sean Hannity is playing in the background.  He actually has a couple of doctors on who are talking about ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, and are saying "if you've had Wuflu do not get a vaccine." They both made it clear that none of their children would receive the "vaccine."   They stop short, however, of saying no one should get the death jab. Sean picks his guests carefully, or they're instructed to not "dump on the jab".

‘Vaccinated’ sections will allow for more spectators at events, religious services in Washington emphasis mine

OLYMPIA, Wash. — While a slew of counties are expected to move back to Phase 2, Gov. Inslee announced new changes allowing spectator events and religious services to gather up to 50% capacity—as long as many of the attendees are vaccinated.

...Religious organizations with vaccinated sections will be able to increase their capacity to 50%.

For these vaccinated sections, attendees will need to provide proof of vaccination—including a vaccination card, a photo of a vaccination card as a separate document or stored on their phone, or vaccine documentation from a healthcare provider or state immunization program. Masks will still need to be worn, but vaccinated spectators will not have to physically distance from each other. Instead, their vaccinated section will be distanced six feet from other unvaccinated attendees. more at the link

Governor Inslee (Washington) is expected to move many counties back to phase two, including Spokane, meaning the flood of Washington peeps into Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho will increase even more. While we welcome their money, the traffic and crowded stores is a bit annoying. I would much prefer they stay home and ignore the communist dictates.

Just last week, at a local town hall, I listened to a survivor and escapee from Prague during WWII . Martha had a warning for us that if we are "going along to get along", we need to stop - right now. And if we think "it couldn't happen here", we'd be dead wrong because it's already happening.

Just a few days ago, I stumbled on an article about holocaust survivor Vera Sharav, a human rights advocate who founded Alliance for Human Research Protection (AHRP). Sharav escaped from Romania in 1944 when she was about 11 years old.

As usual, I did a search on this woman.  To my great surprise, the first article to come up on Google, Distrustful of authority, a Holocaust survivor became a fierce critic of medical establishment, was actually good.  All the rest said she was a nut job. This article covers her background and her current activism quite well.

I don't think my running into two holocaust survivors in just days was a coincidence. I believe God is leading me in that direction.

After seeing that slurred and mumbled Easter message from the fake Catholic- pretend-president quoting the pretend-pope, my anger meter shot past the red zone and into the unchartered danger zone.

Having decided to no longer post rants when I was upset, the anger circled about in my skull probably searing little holes in some necessary brain cells.

After spiritual reading, prayer and reflection, my anger turned to sorrow.  Sorrow for the souls of these misled people who are damning their souls to hell.  And I've asked myself who is the most responsible and most culpable for not telling this man the truth?  Is it the priests who still allow this manifest sinner to receive the body and blood of Christ?  Or his wife who allows this manipulation  of a clearly mentally comprised man?  

Granted his political stances for his entire career have been the antithesis of Catholic teaching, which is mortally sinful, he's now entered his twilight years and his salvation is more at stake than ever, and no one I know of is trying to save his soul.

It's been 12 (very long days - for us, not him😉) of Frankie's recovery.  He's off almost all his drugs, and is sporting a new harness instead of a collar to take the pressure off his neck.  The harness I found for him, Voyager, is the best I've ever encountered, and I can't recommend it more highly.* They have cat sizes too.
