I've been wondering why I feel a certain lack of interest in the goings on.  I also think that others are feeling the same way.

As much as I have to do today, I will take time to watch the live stream of the press conference with Trump and Putin.  Then I will get on with my day while Trump gets on with his. Thank you, President Trump.

Some woman on the Instant Pot community page on Facecrap went into a complete spittle flecked nutty ugly rant against someone who posted a link to an item on Amazon.  She called it "spam" and was really bent at the thought that someone would actually make a few cents off that link at no additional cost to the person purchasing the item.  It didn't take long for one of the moderators to dump her brain dead comments in the dust bin of internet history.

Why is the federal government feeding school kids?  If these kids qualify for free breakfast and lunch, no doubt their mom, who is probably single, is already receiving food stamps, welfare, section 8 housing, and free medical.  How about we have their moms pack a healthy lunch for them?  

Here's a news flash for you, Mooch:  The operative word here is "your" kids.  They're not my kids, and your "demanding" that I care deeply about millions of kids is going to have the opposite effect. 

The fact that your lunches were thrown in the trash by the poor starving kids, and consisted of the polar opposite of what kids should be eating, is of no consequence to you. 

Low fat, low salt, and high carb hampers brain development.  Skim milk for children?  Silly and stupid.

Do We Own Too Much Stuff?

I'm of the opinion that we do and I've been on a quest to reduce the amount of stuff in my home.

The ease with which I can order from Amazon seems, on the surface, to sidetrack my quest. 

Last week, after my hubby bemoaned not having a hand held vac and waxing poetic about our old Dustbuster from eons ago, I hopped on the Amazon and spent $50.00 bucks for the highest rated one they had - the Black and Decker 16V Cordless Lithium Battery Hand Vac.  It was marked down almost $10.00 from $59.00.  

NB:  There is another Black and Decker floating around that looks identical to this one for $39.00.  It's not lithium and it's not 16V. 

Anyhoo, I thought it was a slightly stupid purchase and not needed.  So.......guess who's been using it almost non-stop since it arrived? 

 Why me, of course. Crumbs in the drawers, leaves shed from my house plants, litter outside the kitty outhouse, little puffs of kitteh floating around the house, and the brush flip up attachment for removing even more kitteh from the upholstery.

It's been a yuuuuge time saver, and at my age anything that sames time is priceless.

I call the changes going on "amazing."   It's a far cry from being called bitter clingers and deplorable, wouldn't you say?

I guess a whole bunch of peeps want to boycott Target.  I can't do such a thing because I don't shop at Target, and haven't for years and years.  Their merchandise is over-priced and low quality.

Her first official event was tea with Prince Harry, otherwise known as "the fifth" as is, fifth in line to the throne.  Wow.  That's the best the royals could scrounge up?

Secondly, she's claiming that little black kiddos sit around wondering why they're not welcome in a museum.  Is that what's driving the riots?  Lack of access to a museum?

Thirdly, there are not any little black kids within a mile of that museum giving it one damn thought. They probably don't even know what a museum is.  Did I go to museums when I was a kid.  You betcha, 'cause my mom and dad took me to them.

And finally she's claiming she was one of those poor oppressed blacks who wondered why she was not welcome in a museum. Give me a break.  She grew up in a middle class family with a father and mother who had gainful employment and she's claiming she didn't feel welcome at a museum?   Ask your bitter undignified mother why she didn't take you to a museum and quit blaming whitey.

And further more, ask yourself why your form of "culture" is inundating your own kids with the likes of a nearly nude Beyonce writhing in the White House and calling her a "role model."
