Sunday Sermon: Ritual Public Shaming - the new anti-Christian religion...video

 and Jesus wept.

Why?

Because Jesus loves all his creatures, even the ones who turn their backs on Him.

And we are called to love them too.

We don't have to agree with them, support them, or even like them, but we do have to love them.

I pray for everyone who has died because of these terrible riots and unrest.

It's the right thing to do.

Thus endeth the sermon.

Are we becoming China?

Don't let it happen!

Jared Taylor at the Unz Review: Why America Has Gone Mad

...The larger shift in white thinking and behavior has created a bitter cleavage in American society that has taken on a religious intensity. It is leading towards antagonism and violence on a scale not seen since the Civil War. I have seen nothing like it in 30 years of carefully observing American race relations.

The change in white thinking is an intellectual revolution brought by ideas that had been quarantined in universities but spread to the whole country. The most important one sounds innocuous — a new definition of “racism” — but it is turning the country inside out. do read the rest - it's excellent

Useful idiots...

show their disdain for America.

Thanks to Reaganite Republican for this visual "treat."  Go and take a look-see at what real fools look like.  It's not a pretty picture.  Who's funding and organizing this?  RR will tell you who - and we thank him.

Communist Scum Lurk Amongst Us . . .

In view of that, how about a trip around Obama's Amerika?

Obama’s Amerika: Inciting A Race & Class War To Achieve Dictatorship from Sword at the Ready?

[...]"Given the lessons of history, it is clear to this author that America is being forced marched into a Marxist tyranny by the Obama regime and his party.  The key aspect of it’s insidiousness has now arisen exactly as I just outlined from the historical record; the demonization of their political enemies so as to incite violence against the white, middle class/rich that Obama and his Democrat Socialists, race and poverty pimps have declared the “enemy”."  read it all

H/T to Green Mountains Home who had this to add:

...Read the ENTIRE article. Follow all the links. Hope to GOD this is all not true. But you owe it to those you love to educate yourself, even if those loved ones don't want to hear about it.

I believe events are happening just as Sword at the Ready has described them.  The difference is in the mindset of the people.  After 1776, U.S. citizens never experienced life under a king or any kind of dictatorship. The current response to recent events has been the rise of the Tea Party - a group of awakened patriots.  I do believe we are headed for turbulent times and it would be wise to be prepared.  History does repeat itself because the nature of man is fundamentally the same and it is never a good idea to say "that couldn't happen here."

What's Sin Got to Do With It?

Last Friday I was so overwhelmed by the amount of news that an automatic shut-off valve in  my brain slammed into place.  If you study the Cloward-Piven Strategy or Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, you'll notice  one of the key components for the lefties of the world, that of "overwhelming the system" to make their plan work, is in full operation.  Looking at the multiple sources of information available to us today with more of a discerning eye leaves me with the distinct impression that we often play right into the hands of those who wish us harm.

The human mind and body is a system; a system more important than those of government or tribal affiliation.   If you overwhelm the systems of the individual we become fodder for the the collective.  While untold hours are spent "reporting" on every little twinge in the news, including a woman who lost her fingers to a bear through her own drunken stupidity, there isn't much time left for anything of real importance.

If you are a Christian, the only thing of real importance is our reason for existence. We were created so that some day we could be fully united with God.  This is not a journey that begins "someday" or when we have some spare time.  It is a journey that began at birth and ends at our death.  If we allow the evil people of this world, and make no mistake about this, there are evil people,  to divert our path on this journey to our destination, all could be lost.

Does this mean we ignore the secular politics of this world?  Absolutely not.  But a balance between what is truly important and what is mere distraction should be maintained. We must not render to Caesar in lieu of what we owe God.

So what does sin have to with it?  We have all recounted, myself included, the psychological manifestations of Obama's personality.  We have determined with some certainty that he is a malignant narcissist.  We know that he, and his minions, do not have our best interests in mind as they try to take over the health care delivery system of this country.  We know that at the the heart of this takeover is power.  Desire for power is based on the most grievous of sins, that of pride.  Satan himself, overcome with pride, desired power; he wanted to be God, and we see where that got him.

We are all sinners to one degree or another.  It is when we stop acknowledging this fact that we are led down a path that ends in destruction.  A curtain is drawn around our souls and darkness prevails.  In time, small sins become bigger and bigger.  People such as Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden, who identify themselves as Catholics while advocating for a woman's right to kill her child in the womb, argue that this makes sense.  And no one wants to call it what it is - sin - and Satan is very happy and rejoices.

To kill a child in the womb is a sin.  To take by force the fruits of one person's labor to give to another is a sin.  To acquiesce to such thefts is also a sin.  When an able-bodied person eschews work in favor of accepting money and goods stolen from another - it is a sin.  When you demand that someone else pay for your health care, it is a sin.  A great number of the people who occupy seats of power in our government have become so entrenched in their lives of sin, they no longer even notice.

If we neglect our duties to God, which is a sin by the way, eventually the curtain will begin to be drawn around our souls.  Our "system" will be overwhelmed, our intellect dulled, and we will be unprepared for the battles we will surely face in the upcoming years.  The powers of darkness are fierce, unrelenting, and working overtime.  Bernard of Clairvaux in volume 4 of "On the Song of Songs" says it so well:
But is there anyone like Paul; anyone who does not consent at times to this sensual desire and so submits to sin?  Let him who yields to sin take note that he has raised another wall against himself by that wicked and unlawful consent.  A man of this kind cannot boast that for him the Bridegroom stands behind the wall, because not one wall but walls now intervene...
But what if the repetition of sins becomes a habit, or the habit induces contempt, as Scripture says: "When wickedness  comes, contempt comes also"? (Prov. 18:3)  If you die like this, will you not be devoured a thousand times by those that roar as they await their food, before you can reach the Bridegroom now shut off from you not merely by one, but a succession of walls?
The first is sensual desire; the second, consent; the third the action; the fourth, habit; the fifth contempt.  Take care then to resist with all your strength the first movements of sensual desire lest they lure you to consent, and then the whole fabric of wickedness will vanish.
Take care says Bernard. Do not neglect your duties to God.

New World Order & Health Care

How to Fix Health Care

  1. End employer mandated insurance. The individual should be the owner of his own coverage. It is ridiculous for employers to be overseeing your health care.
  2. Remove government mandates from current policies which drive up costs.
  3. Remove government restrictions on the sale of insurance to allow for true competition.
  4. Insurance should return to the original concept of insuring against catastrophe, with patients paying out of pocket for everyday medical expenses.
  5. Tort reform
  6. Allow Medicare and Medicaid to be phased out over time.
America - there is no health care crisis. This "crisis" is nonsense, invented by the very government that has caused the problem to begin with. The solution to "fixing" what is currently a problem is to get government out of health care. No more micromanaging our lives.

Does no one else see how just plain weird this is all is? We have a bunch of ignorant, overpaid elitist snobs running around in Washington arguing about how you will receive your health care. By my estimates, we have close to 50% of the people in this country thinking this is "normal." This is not normal; this is more like crawling down Alice's hole and dancing with the gerbils.

Why?

I've also become tired of not saying some of the things that need to be said. Just openly say anything about a "plan" or a "plot", or throw God into the mix, and you are automatically called a "conspiracy wacko". Even the conservatives jump on this little band wagon. Glenn Beck is routinely disparaged by both sides of the aisle, and we all know how relentlessly Sarah Palin is attacked in an attempt to marginalize her message.

Folks, this is all about control, and the question I've had to ask myself over the past few weeks is; why? Why would you want to destroy a country's economy just so you can feel powerful? Wouldn't a rational person rather be head of a prosperous country? Therein lies the key. We are not dealing with rational people. We are dealing with evil, sick people, and it's time we all realized this.

The reason we, referring to those of us who are rational, cannot wrap ourselves around any of this is because we are rational. Spend some time connecting the dots. Read up on the UN's Agenda 21, Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, and the Cloward-Piven Strategy.

At the dinner table the other evening, my husband compared these people to shopaholics. No matter how much a person shops, and regardless of how much "stuff" they pile up in their homes, they are never satisfied. They have a bottomless pit in their soul that can never be filled. We are dealing with people who are nothing more than Godless empty pails riddled with holes. As fast as they pour other people's money and lifeblood in, it leaks out the bottom.

These people are the modern day Gnostic's, believing they have secret knowledge and can become as Gods. And many everyday folk are being dragged along this path by the "feel good" message being fed to them by their churches, including the Catholic Church. Dumbed down theology, watered down liturgy, liberation theology, diversity, and tolerance being preached relentlessly from pulpits of all denominations has turned the modern day Christian into a weak and vapid sycophant, demanding their "rights."

As Sun Tzu said in The Art of War, "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the results of a hundred battles. " Glenn Beck has been saying for weeks now that we need to know who we are and what we believe if we are to win this battle. I couldn't agree more.

The following article from American Thinker is great and I highly recommend a thorough reading.

Manufactured Healthcare Crisis

By
James Simpson

These are perilous times. Last November's election of Barack Obama and a veto-proof majority of Democrats in both houses allowed a virulent cabal to capture our nation's seat of power. As with the Democrat takeover of Congress in 2006, it was a disaster of epic proportions. With one shocking, enormous, blatantly partisan, self-serving and destructive proposal following on the heels of another, the sheer enormity of their power grab defies description. But as each new proposal moves forward, the hand of the Crisis Strategy becomes clear. read the rest

New World Order?

My Google Reader is approaching the 1000 mark even though I clear it several times per day. That's an awful lot of information flowing into one brain.

There comes a time when we must step back and do some "dot connecting", which is what I am busy doing whilst mindlessly sorting screws and nails in my hardware box. Sorting flotsam and jetsam is a great activity for focusing and one gets to reap the benefits of a little additional organization. Several kitchen drawers have already been cleaned and spiffed up and I'm headed for my office "in box." That will be followed by the stack of carp on top of the file cabinet that needs to filed. If I'm not through with the thinking process, the craft stuff is in great danger of becoming my next move.

All of this is not to tell you about my day. It's my way of saying that the dots I'm connecting and the information I am researching is important. Some of the information is re-visited info and other is brand spanking new, at least to me, and needs some healthy study time.

I think that we are being bombarded with "hope and change" to the point where the objectives of the Cloward-Piven Strategy and Alinsky's Rules for Radicals are being carried out while we are focused on the buttons adorning the shirt without seeing the shirt (I really didn't want to use the forest and trees thingy so forgive me this comparison)

Events are becoming ugly, as I predicted months ago would happen, and I believe they will become uglier. Much uglier! I believe the majority of the people of this country are outraged. And I also believe that we have a puppet in the White House who will stop at nothing to obtain his ends.

Listening to Obama in his very best "shuck and jive" mode in this brief video is chilling. I find his pretend "home boy" imitation to be repulsive and an insult to all good black people. As always this man tells us exactly what he is doing and how he is going to accomplish his goals.

Now I must head back to sort my in-box and continue my "thinking." Oh yes, first I'm going to mark what is now 1000 plus items on my Google Reader as "read." In the meantime, visit the folks on my sidebar who are all doing a great job.

Cloward-Piven Strategy
Strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis

*****In order to gain a better understanding of what is going in the world, much of my time is devoted to study. All of us should be brushing up on our history, economics 101, and most importantly, on our Catholic faith. Our world must be viewed through the illuminating light of our faith, and it is this faith that will sustain us.

*****There is no doubt in my mind that the Church is entering a period of persecution. It is being directed by the people in power who are being driven by a much more malevolent force. Sometimes it is easy to laugh off the social gaffs of our current President and his administration. But do not think they are not calculated and planned. To underestimate your enemy can be a fatal mistake. Our enemy is much larger and more powerful than any mere man who sits in the Oval Office.

*****The Cloward-Piven Strategy has been brought up many times by many different people, people I consider way smarter than yours truly. Perhaps that is why it sort of slipped under my radar. But not anymore.

This is one of the best articles I could find on the subject. Take some time to read this and when you are finished, it would be good to re-read and do further research. I know I will.
