Alan Keyes: On my reading list...

for later today.

The garden calls.  Yesterday I didn't get outside until noon.  Big mistake.  I about died from heat stroke after only planting 6 tomatoes.

Alan Keyes offers free 80-page booklet on God-ordained marriage
April 2, 2015
RenewAmerica staff

Liberty Tree Alliance, a nonprofit educational organization of Dr. Alan Keyes, has released a new e-booklet, How the Claim to 'Homosexual Rights' Destroys the Logic of Liberty, in an effort to challenge the growing myth that same-sex marriage poses no substantial threat to the existence of God-ordained natural marriage.

The 84-page downloadable booklet, available for free by clicking HERE, contains 24 essays by Dr. Keyes on the deceptions that surround same-sex marriage, and the assault upon America's unalienable rights and essential liberties these deceptions represent.

According to RenewAmerica president Stephen Stone, the booklet's editor, How the Claim to 'Homosexual Rights' Destroys the Logic of Liberty "is highly recommended to all patriotic Americans who wish to understand, and uphold, our nation's heritage of one-man/one-woman 'traditional' marriage."

Stone added, "The arguments and facts Dr. Keyes shares herein are worth every effort to study and discern – for they are carefully reasoned and powerfully written. As a contribution to contemporary conservative thought, the insights presented are exceptional."

The booklet is the third in a series of profound essays by Dr. Keyes on the most important moral and political challenges that currently confront America.

An open letter to homosexual activists...

Dear Homosexual Activist,

Due to the latest shiny object attack on Mike Pence of Indiana over signing the state's Freedom of Religion Restoration Act, one I might mention, exists in many other states, I felt the urge to send a message to you.

I'm sending this letter only to you activists, and not to the millions of homosexuals who lead rather mundane and normal lives.  They go to work and school, live quietly, and sometimes even chastely - which is a subject for another letter.

Let's start off with the concept of tolerance.  Growing up, we had a family friend who was most certainly gay.  I dislike the word "gay", but in the interest of  kindness, since you really like that label, I'll consent to use the term for this letter.  This family friend was a lovely gentleman who we had over for dinner several times a year.  He lived with his aging mother, and was a collector of antiques about which he was quite knowledgeable.  Naturally, it was whispered that he might be gay.  It was only whispers, because no one knew for sure.  Our family friend did not demand tolerance, nor did we feel any necessity of attaching that sentiment to him.

In later years, my mother worked for two doctors, one of whom was gay.  He also was a lovely, funny, and charming man.  He never demanded tolerance, nor did he announce to the world his sexual proclivities.  It was not easy to hide his gayness when he had house parties, and my mother was called in the middle of the night to attend to him when he decided that his fairy costume (I kid you not) would allow him to fly off the second story landing and his friends (including Rock Hudson - also a lovely man) needed to get him out of the fairy costume before taking him to the Houston Medical Center.  He didn't demand tolerance either.

Back in the olden days, people didn't usually announce to the world the manner in which they engaged in sex, including people who were heterosexual.  We deemed it not worthy parlor chit-chat and, frankly, it was no one's business.

Now, the noise makers amongst you are demanding tolerance.  I hate to break this to you, but tolerance is not a good thing.  Tolerance presupposes that the one doing the tolerating has already decided that what he is tolerating is not good.

It's sort of like that employee where you work who has some pretty bad hygiene problems.   In a word, he stinks.  No one likes to be around him, but they, having decided that the guy is really a nice person, tolerate his odor until the day the staff decides to slip a tube or can of antiperspirant in his desk drawer hoping he'll get the hint.

That might not be the best example, since most gay people are a pretty clean bunch, but I think you get my point.  You don't want to be tolerated.  You know that is not a good thing.  No, you want approval for the manner in which you engage in sex.  You want to be celebrated as the creative, clever, sophisticated person you think you are.

Oh, sure; you have your gay pride parades with crowds of heterosexuals attending and cheering you on.  Deep down, though, you know the real reason they are there.  I'm not trying to be cruel here, but the sight of men dressed in feathers, sequins, or leather bondage with their bare butts hanging out is, well, entertaining to many people.

So tolerance is not your goal here.  No siree.  It' a nice word to fling about, but it's not getting the job done.  When that happens, you switch to equal rights.  Last I checked, you have equal rights.  Nope, it seems to me that what you're stumping for is special rights, and you want to exercise those special rights over anyone who dares to say they don't want your sexuality shoved in their faces. We also don't want you trying to teach our children that homosexual sex is normal and healthy.  It isn't, and you know that, too.

You may also want to take some time to ponder how you and your friends treated openly gay fashion legends Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana when they came out against gay marriage, gay adoption, and that they found in vitro fertilization to be unnatural.  (source)  Old queen, Elton John, called for a boycott against the designers and you applauded.  Not to worry, though.  Most of you can't afford their clothes, so a boycott is meaningless.

For most of history, your sexual activities behind closed doors have been tolerated.  We won't go into the Muslims throwing you off of roofs and stoning you to death, which is, no doubt, the epitome of intolerance. No one is asking you to hide in the shadows.  Most of us are intelligent enough to spot you.  We want to be your friends.

Please, dear activists, note that I have not brought religion into this letter, even though you like to conjure up a tolerant and non-judgmental Jesus when it suits your purpose.  I offer no religious reason to not tolerate your private behavior.  Yet, you have no problem calling me a "hater" for not celebrating your behavior.  How very tolerant of you.

However, the approval you seek for your sex life is just not going to happen.  You may wield untold pressure through any laws you plan to enact, but no one is going to celebrate your sex life.  Deep down you know this, and I'm sure it makes you unhappy.  It doesn't have to be this way.

You need to quit acting like petulant children who have had their favorite toy taken away for bad behavior.  You're an embarrassment to all the homosexuals who just want to be left alone to lead their life in peace.

Sincerely,

Adrienne

Did you really think this wouldn't happen??? Homosexual legal group in Massachusetts files papers to force Catholic school to hire man who's "married" to another man -- despite school's refusal...

this is just the beginning.

What took them so long?

From Mass Resistance:

The next step of the "gay marriage" agenda is about to begin here in Massachusetts. It's the push to use the legal system to force religious organizations to include homosexuality and transgenderism.

Fontbonne Academy in Milton, MA, a Catholic girls' high school, is under attack by the homosexual movement.

Across the country whenever a "gay marriage" battle heats up pro-family people are always told, "It's all about civil rights. It won't affect your religious institutions." And the politicians and judges believe them.

That's about to change. This week the powerful Boston homosexual legal group, Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (GLAD) filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Commission against Discrimination (MCAD) against a Catholic girls prep school because the school declined to hire a man because he is "married" to another man. Your future is being played out in Canada...

we've been warned.

Think homosexual "marriage" is just about two people "loving" each other (because we all know that nothing says love like unnatural sex)?

Blazing Cat Fur reports on The Day of Pink in the Peel District** of  Canada and it's not pretty.   Supposedly everyone is to wear pink and declare bullying to be bad.  Except, the school district up there is bullying the parents.

A highlight (emphasis mine)
  • As teachers, we do not condone children being removed from classes when we teach about Aboriginal People, people of colour, people with disabilities or LGBTTIQ people
  • You can teach your own values at home. Public schools teach everyone about respecting diversity and valuing everyone
  • This is not about parent rights. Children have the right to an inclusive education free from discrimination
An education "free from discrimination" which discriminates against anyone who thinks marriage is between a man and a women.  Were these teachers and administers ever taught basic logic?

Do you really think you can overcome 8 hours of government indoctrination with a few hours of your values?

Head over and read the entire article and be sure and read what the school board thinks are appropriate responses to questions they may encounter from students.

Archbishop Cordileone states case against gay marriage...

I agree with Pat Archbold at Creative Minority Report.
Anybody who wishes to enter into a debate about gay marriage with friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, or anyone else should read this interview and memorize each and every answer by the Archbishop.

This, folks, is how it is done. Do not accept their premises at all.

This is not a debate about tolerance or a live and let live mentality. If it was, some form of civil union or benefit structure would have been sufficient. This is about criminalizing the opposing views and driving Christianity further into the cubby hole.
Read this. Memorize it. Regurgitate.
Thanks, Pat

Interview in USA Today with Archbishop Cordileone on gay marriage.

Q: What is the greatest threat posed by allowing gays and lesbians to marry?

A:The better question is: What is the great good in protecting the public understanding that to make a marriage you need a husband and a wife?

I can illustrate my point with a personal example. When I was Bishop of Oakland, I lived at a residence at the Cathedral, overlooking Lake Merritt. It's very beautiful. But across the lake, as the streets go from 1st Avenue to the city limits at 100th Avenue, those 100 blocks consist entirely of inner city neighborhoods plagued by fatherlessness and all the suffering it produces: youth violence, poverty, drugs, crime, gangs, school dropouts, and incredibly high murder rates. Walk those blocks and you can see with your own eyes: A society that is careless about getting fathers and mothers together to raise their children in one loving family is causing enormous heartache.

To legalize marriage between two people of the same sex would enshrine in the law the principle that mothers and fathers are interchangeable or irrelevant, and that marriage is essentially an institution about adults, not children; marriage would mean nothing more than giving adults recognition and benefits in their most significant relationship.

How can we do this to our children?  read the rest

Trying to Cope with Stupidity...

and having a hard time.

It is with much regret that I wasted quite a bit of time reviewing an article over at The Blaze about the opinion piece NFL player Matt Birk wrote that was published in the Mpls. Star-Trib opposing same sex "marriage."

Which, of course, meant that I had to enter into the crazy commie world of the Star-Trib to read comments, which in turn, led me to the vile, profanity ridden rebuttal written by the Minnesota Vikings Chris Kluwe.

From The Blaze:
After Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo supported gay marriage, state delegate Emmett C. Burns Jr. wrote a letter asking Baltimore owner Steve Bisciotti to limit such comments from players.
That led Vikings punter Chris Kluwe to pen a profane letter to the delegate defending both free speech and gay marriage.
Now Ravens center (and former Viking) Matt Birk has penned an opinion in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune supporting free speech and opposing gay marriage.
My observations:
  • Matt Birk, a clean-cut well-spoken young man, is vilified while Chris Kluwe, who looks like the worst bum I've ever seen in the food line at the Union Gospel Mission in Spokane, is treated as some sort of hero.
  • Young people watch sports.  No big surprise there.  And what do the young people encounter?  They see attractive clean-cut men like Matt Birk and Tim Tebow brutally mocked, dare we even say "bullied", while inarticulate foul-mouthed types like Chris Kluwe are lionized.  Is it any surprise that the kids I encounter at our public library spew profanity and dress like wannabee gang members or hookers?
  • And finally - gay "marriage" is not about marriage, it's about sex, and I am darn tired of having to incessantly listen to them crow about the manner in which they engage in perverted sex.  Because, wait for it, absolutely nothing will ever make a sexual encounter between two men or two women normal.
My buddy Jim, at Conservatives on Fire is also having trouble dealing with stupidity (I stole the title from him.)
Folks, I understand that not everyone can be intelligent. But, stupidity seems to have reached epidemic proportions in the world today and America has not escaped this tragedy. This seems to be particularly true for those on the left side of the political spectrum.

Like me, most of you have probably seen some videos put up by conservatives that have gone viral. One was of a woman who was more than a little emotional because she had gotten an Obama phone. The other video I have in mind was where a sneaky conservative was interviewing Obama supporters at some rally. When asked if they agreed with Obama’s decision to name Paul Ryan as his vice presidential running mate. They said they thought that was a good decision. The follow-up question was if they thought Obama picked Paul Ryan because Ryan was black or because Ryan was a very capable man? Some responded it was because Ryan was a good man and others responded that the decision was probably based on a little bit of both of the suggested reasons. It scares me that people that stupid have the right to vote.  read the rest

Homosexuals are all about tolerance and inclusiveness...

but it only flows one way.

If you own a business and think you can choose the people you do business with, you'd better think again.

From Lifesite:

Catholic innkeepers fined $30,000 and lose wedding business for not hosting reception for gender-segregated couple
What's the price for defending gender-integrated marriage?

How much did it cost a Vermont business to live out its faith?

The answer: $30,000.

Two women from New York, Kate Baker and Ming Linsley, sued the Wildflower Inn of Vermont for declining to host their wedding reception.

The owners of the inn, Jim and Mary O'Reilly, are Catholic and believe in pro-gender marriage. They refused to celebrate the marriage of the gender-segregated couple.

The American Civil Liberties Union helped the monogender couple win their lawsuit.  read the rest
Don't ask me what all these terms like pro-gender, mono-gender, gender-integrated, and gender-segregated mean.  These women are lesbians and have sex with each other.  It's as simple as that.  It's not about love - it's about sex.

They think that if you don't affirm their chosen path in life, you must be crushed.   But, wait.  I thought they stood for tolerance.  Silly me.

I can't imagine people being so mean-spirited, vile, and nasty that they would attack a couple for not hosting their fake wedding reception.

For anyone facing such a thing, may I offer a word of caution?  Learn to lie.  Tell them you're booked solid or you're planning on torching the place for the insurance money, and it just happens to be on the day they want to rent your facility.  It's not worth 30K dollars to tell the truth.

Gaze on the faces of the vile squids celebrating after their big win for "tolerance."

Homosexual marriage to be plank of the Democratic party platform...?...

so it seems.

Millions of people are out of work, the economy is in a shambles,  and the Democrats think homosexual marriage is of vast national importance?

Following the lead of its standard bearer, the Democratic Party has decided to make legalizing same-sex marriage an official plank of its campaign platform. A spokesman for the Democratic National Committee said July 30 that the party’s drafting committee had voted during a weekend meeting in Minneapolis to add the party’s formal support for homosexual marriage. Political observers expected that there will be little opposition to the move, and that delegates will approve the platform during the party’s September convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In addition to endorsing the legalization of “gay” marriage, the party platform will reaffirm the Democrats’ opposition to the Defense of Marriage Act, the federal statute signed into law by Democrat President Bill Clinton in 1996 which defines marriage as only between a man and a woman for the purposes of federal business. read the rest

According to the Personal Pronoun President marriage between Bob and Bill is a state issue...

but health insurance and abortion are federal issues.  Really?

Thomas Sowell has a few thoughts:
In all the states where gay marriage was on the ballot this year, the voters voted against it -- as they should have. Of all the phony arguments for gay marriage, the phoniest is the argument that it is a matter of equal rights. Marriage is not a right extended to individuals by the government. It is a restriction on the rights they already have. People who are simply living together can make whatever arrangements they want, whether they are heterosexual or homosexual. They can divide up their worldly belongings 50-50 or 90-10 or whatever other way they want. They can make their union temporary or permanent or subject to cancellation at any time. Marriage is a restriction. read the rest

Obama "comes out" in defense of unnatural sex and distorts Christian teaching...

and every Christian in the country should be offended and outraged.

I've noticed that almost no one has reprinted the "Christian" part of Obama's statement.

Father John Zuhlsdorf has this to say:

[...]In endorsing unnatural sex, Obama invoked Christ’s Sacrifice on the Cross.
“This is something that, you know, [Michelle and I have] talked about over the years and she, you know, she feels the same way, she feels the same way that I do. And that is that, in the end the values that I care most deeply about and she cares most deeply about is how we treat other people and, you know, I, you know, we are both practicing Christians and obviously this position may be considered to put us at odds with the views of others but, you know, when we think about our faith, the thing at root that we think about is, not only Christ sacrificing himself on our behalf, but it’s also the Golden Rule, you know, treat others the way you would want to be treated…”
Christ’s Sacrifice?  The “Golden Rule”?

Christians understand that both are reflections of sacrificial love, charity, the former the ultimate example of the God man, the later human and earthly which echoes the former (cf. Luke 10:25-28).

Obama instrumentalized the Lord’s Sacrifice, the ultimate act of the love which is charity, to promote unnatural sex and the overturning of one of our most important societal bonds.

We, according to charity, must act for the true good of the other. It is not for the true good of another person to help them to sin or to undermine Christian morals.  But that is exactly what Obama is doing. This is an astounding example of both scandal and blasphemy.   It is beyond absurd to invoke the Lord’s Sacrifice in an attempt to violate our human nature and God’s laws.  read it all
Point 1. Memo to all of those who think homosexual "marriage" is all about laughter, lightness, and sugar plum fairies.  It's not.  It's about people who define themselves by the way they engage in sex.  In the case of men, it's about a dominate male inserting his erect penis into a submissive man's anus.  It's about all manner of physical assault that shortens the health and life of the men who participate. It is an act of violence that perpetrates a plethora of disease.

Want to acquire a raging case of  AIDs or various forms of hepatitis?  The quickest way to accomplish that is to engage in unnatural sex acts.  All you people who are so worried about domestic violence should be made aware that homosexuals experience the highest rates of violence in their partnerships.

Do you suppose that Obama brought up these things when discussing homosexual "marriage" with his daughters?  And are we to believe that he forms his opinions on what a couple of children think about the issue?  Yep - when I want to form an opinion about a deep moral issue I always turn to 12 and 14 year old girls for wisdom and guidance. /sarc

Point 2.  What exactly is coming down the pike in the next few days?  This is clearly another diversion to keep everyone riled up and blah blahing.  Wait for the Friday night news dump for the next hammer to strike.  Count on it!!!

Point 3.  You people who call yourselves Catholics, you who voted for this human piece of trash and plan on voting for him again, should start shopping for another church.  I hear the Unitarian Universalist church has some openings.

People are not labels...

really?  Really?!

The other day I was tooling around Facebook, and came upon a local homosexual fellow who posted the following picture and declared his love for the sentiment expressed.

What I found particularly odd was the fact that the above was expressed on a label.  So by my reckoning, if labels are for clothes, why are these three groups wearing labels to begin with? And how did they get those labels?  The homosexual in question was never known to me as a homosexual until he announced it to the world on his Facebook page.  Of course, a black person doesn't have to announce his "blackness", but nevertheless will often take great pains to declare himself a person who is "proud" of his blackness.  At the same time, he will claim, as those in other groups do, a victim status and a desire to not be labeled.  We'll leave the discussion of Muslims for another time.

Couple that with the fact that most of the members in the above groups are the most vocal about who they are.  Just about every major city in the country hosts "gay pride" parades and days of festivities to celebrate their unique status.  They cavort and preen over the fact that they have sex with members of the human race that resemble them in all ways.

Can you imagine the uproar if "hetero-pride" days started popping up in major cities?  Considering the "all blacks are victims" climate in this country, we won't even explore the concept of a "white pride" month, who are getting more than their fair share of labels; with "racist" topping the charts.

Back to our local homosexual who takes every opportunity he can to declare his sexual exploits.  Because when you declare your homosexuality, that is exactly what you doing.  He's saying to the world, "I have sex with another guy and want you to think it's really, really cool, but I don't want you to label me."

Since you have labeled yourself but don't want me to label you, and you refuse to see the absurdity of what you have said, how about I give you a new label?

Homosexuals...

East coast/West coast.

Remember your early days in school when you learned about Benjamin Franklin and his inventions?  Not only were you taught that he invented the lightning rod and bifocal glasses, but that he only had sex in the missionary position.  How about Washington Carver and his gazillion ways to use peanuts?  Remember when your teacher told you about the kinky sex Mr. Carver favored?  No?  You're not alone because the manner in which these people engaged in sex was of no significance to their accomplishments.

But soon, in the state of California, little kids will be told about very important people who did very important things and they will be informed that these people engaged in unsafe sexual practices such as repeated anal sex.  Why?

California passes bill mandating pro-gay teaching in schools, no parent opt-out
A bill requiring public schools to teach the “historical contributions” of homosexual Americans was approved by the California legislature on Tuesday, July 5. The bill also prohibits any school material or instruction that reflects adversely on homosexuality, bisexuality or transgenderism, and prohibits parents from removing children from classes over offensive material. read the rest

It's Friday...

and it's not raining.

Hopefully it will not rain before getting the lawn cut.

Isn't today the long anticipated golf game between Obama and Boehner?  It does my heart good to know that the two of them are going hash out their differences while smacking around a little white ball.  The fact that millions of out of work Americans could not even afford to pay the greens fees on one of their local city courses should not stand in the way of those over-paid politicians having a most excellent time.

As Kyle-Ann Shiver says in her fine article at American Thinker:
Do they not realize how utterly foolish they look to the rest of the Country?  While the citizenry suffers under the yoke of political-class policy failures, and these two leaders cannot -- among all those brilliant-beyond-brilliant policy makers -- find any real solutions, they choose to go play golf together.
 Foolish, indeed.

The present White House also thinks it's a super-dooper most excellent idea to sell raffle tickets in order to win "dinner with Obama. Really, folks.  This is cringe inducing.

Maggie, over at her Notebook,  reminds us that while a $5.00 donation gets you entered in a "sweepstakes" for dinner, 500K gets you a cushy job with the Obama administration.

Already a Yahoo article has called his comment "shocking."  Really?  I think calling what two members of the same sex do with each other, which is subsequently bandied about the airwaves for all to hear, "shocking."

But, wait.  The Daley Gator reminds us:   Most Americans Still Believe In Traditional Marriage, Poll Reveals

So why is a group of no more than 2% of the population dictating to the rest of us about redefining the definition of marriage?

Quin Hillyer thinks we still have a chance of dragging this country back from the abyss.
[...]At issue is a country that has lost its way, in part because far too many millions of its individual citizens have lost their own way in their daily lives. The full litany of ills is so familiar that anything more than a sample list of them would be boring: out-of-wedlock pregnancies, abortions, hideously trashy prime-time TV shows, raunchy music, attire in public that isn't just slovenly but scandalous, casual acceptance of financial cheating… and more, ad infinitum. Another, less-recognized sin is that of a certain form of sloth, which shows itself in declining standards across the board -- as evidenced, for just one example, in this week's story (similar to dozens of other stories on such subjects in the past two decades) about just how pathetically American children do on tests of the most basic historical (or civic-related) information.
Many will find his solution "shocking."

June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month...

with perfectly coordinates with high schools celebrating homosexual sex.

Since we now live in a completely alternative universe where some people are routinely defined by the manner in which they engage in the sexual act, let's devote an entire month to their sex lives.

In the beginning of the proclamation by the president, he says:
This month, as we recognize the immeasurable contributions of LGBT Americans, we renew our commitment to the struggle for equal rights for LGBT Americans and to ending prejudice and injustice wherever it exists.
Allow me to translate that statement for you.  It says that anything of any merit a homosexual does is because they are homosexual.  That's actually a rather mean-spirited and insulting message about people with same sex attraction.  I prefer to recognize accomplishments from individuals with no consideration of what they do in their private life.

As to the equal rights and ending prejudice?  That really means you are to accept without reservation any and all homosexual behavior, which of course, is based on the manner in which they engage in the sexual act.  Don't want to rent a room to a homosexual couple?  Too bad!  You will be sued into bankruptcy.  Don't want to perform a "civil union" or "marriage" ceremony?  Too bad.  The ACLU will bury you in paperwork, lawsuits, and in time, there will probably be jail time attached to this egregious act.

The parents who objected to having a homosexual couple as prom king and queen at the high school I previously posted about here and here, didn't wish to be interviewed or identified in any way.  The only people who were identified were those who were in agreement.  Ask yourselves why the objectors were silent. Could it be because they feared reprisals?

I have been bombarded with hate mail (most of which was so silly and vile it had to be deleted) since I dared to say that for high school administrators to glorify homosexual sex is wrong.  At no time did I ever say I "hated" homosexuals, which I don't.  But I find it perverse that high school students are forbidden to pray because it may be a distraction from academics but promotion of certain sexual acts is okay.
May students pray? Students have the right to engage in voluntary individual prayer that is not coercive, and does not substantially disrupt the school's educational mission and activities. For example, all students have the right to say a blessing before eating a meal. However, school officials must not promote or encourage a student's personal prayer. Students may engage with other students in religious activity during non-curricular periods as long as the activity is not coercive or disruptive. source
So school officials must not promote prayer, but they can promote homosexual sex.  Does that make even a tiny bit of sense?  Since most high schools also promote birth control and abortion, maybe it does make sense.

Heterosexual Month?

To carry it one step further, there are some of us who would like to have our own month, devoted to whatever our proclivities happen to be.

Smitty at The Other McCain asks:

Do You Sometimes Find Yourself Wishing That You Could Arrive At Some Wholly New Form Of Depravity?
Truly, I wish that sexuality could remain private. Certainly not a federal political matter. But since the month of June has to find itself turned into a public celebration of something that, in my opinion, has no business being public (hetero or otherwise), the thought of having a month devoted to my own personal pecadillos sounds kind of interesting.
And LarryD laments being excluded:

When Do I Get My Month?

June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month. It used to just be Gay and Lesbian Pride Month, initiated by former President Clinton in 2000, and then made more inclusive by President Obama in 2009. Of course, it's not totally inclusive, because heterosexuals aren't on the list. (So I won't celebrate it until I'm forced to, which may happen sooner than later...)

In fact, if you read through the list of National Months, there's no National Normal Heterosexuals Month anywhere. How come? Why the discrimination?

Remember the homosexual couple voted king and queen of their prom?

I called them "sad little homosexual creatures" and stand by that statement.  To verify my opinion I interviewed a young lady recently graduated from high school.  I asked her how most high school age kids felt about this sort of thing.  The end result was what I expected.

That "sad little homosexual couple" was sad because, according to this nice nineteen year old girl,  the majority of the kids were laughing at them, not with them, .   That's right folks.  Like Carrie, in Stephen King's novel, most of the kids, according to my source, would find the whole situation a time for merriment and scorn, at the expense of the homosexual couple.

That's what I call sad.

And anyone who thinks the homosexual agenda, whether it be "marriage", adoption, or any other special rights they can dream up will not affect religious freedom is deluded.

Obama is on vacay...

which means we are, too.

Whenever that "man" leaves the country, I breathe easier.  Other than embarrassing us with his gauche behavior (I can live with that), his capacity to do more damage to this country is somewhat mitigated by his absence.  Unfortunately, he keeps coming back.

and

Think the matter of homosexual "marriage" is just about two people who love each other and won't have any affect on society or religious freedom?  Better think again.  If it's really all about "tolerance" and "rights", then explain to me why someone should be forced to accommodate them even it goes against their beliefs.  Where's the tolerance in that attitude?

From Americans for Truth:

Homosexuality in the Heartland
Naturally, efforts to transform American law to affirm people practicing same-sex behavior have collided with the religious and First Amendment liberties of those who disagree with homosexuality. In Illinois, shortly after lame-duck passage of the ”civil unions” bill, a homosexual  male couple targeted Paxton bed-and-breakfast owners Jim and Beth Walder, who have held wedding ceremonies on their property. The “gay” activists seek to use the new law to FORCE the Walders to use their own private business (and property) to host homosexual “civil union” ceremonies against their Christian conscience.  read it all
