Let's meet the new slave masters.  Sharpton and Jackson are the present day equivalent to the black slave traders of the past.  They have no qualms about enslaving their fellow men in order to add to their bank accounts and power. 

Let's look at some comments from the Yahoo news article, shall we?

Doesn't look like the American people are buying into this witch hunt.

"Something's flawed here. The black community wants the same court system that tried Zimmerman, to re-try him again for the same crime but this time for violating Martin's civil rights. This tells me that blacks believe them to be the only people in the US to have civil rights. Yeah I know one's the federal system and one's the state's system but both answer to the SCOTUS which means they're under one system. The feds have to first prove Zimmerman shot Martin because he was black, which they can't. They would have to retry him to prove it wasn't self defense and that's double jeopardy, which upon reflection, doesn't mean anything to the black community. Where else can a man who owes almost $4.6 million in back taxes to the state and IRS walk around stirring up the racial pot and not be prosecuted? Ain't that right Rev Sharpton?"

Isn't it way past time for the "two minute hate" of George Zimmerman to be over?...

In the George Orwell world we now live in, George Zimmerman has become the poster boy for hate by the fools on the left.  In his novel 1984, all the people must gather together and watch a film depicting an enemy of the nation and then express their hate.

Within the book, the purpose of the Hate is said to satisfy the citizens' subdued feelings of angst and hatred from leading such a wretched, controlled existence. By re-directing these subconscious feelings away from the Oceanian government and toward external enemies (which likely do not even exist), the Party minimizes subversive thought and behavior. source

Isn't that exactly what's going on now?   No amount of facts can convince the poor downtrodden Negroes that Zimmerman is anything other than a racist, bigot, and a murdering bastard.  And the white racist, for surely if you consider this a racial case you are the most virulent of racists, feed the frenzy and pat themselves on the back for being superior to the "bitter-clingers."

It's all about controlling the useful idiots.  Problem is, it's not working.  Considering how hard this administration is trying to gin up trouble, there really has been little response by way of riots.  What's happening in a few locales is nothing more than business as usual.  

Why exactly do we care?  Because someday these powerful forces could be turned against you, if they haven't already.

For now, it's time to move on.  I have a lawn to cut.

Hate Crimes Indeed

Now that a jury has considered the best evidence the State of Florida could offer against George Zimmerman, and that it did not prove that Zimmerman was either the aggressor or an intentional killer, the left has a problem.  It invested what little credibility it had entirely in using George Zimmerman as a distraction from the horrific violence in black communities.  The consequence, we were told before and have been told since, is that it is open season for non-blacks against blacks, and this case exemplifies how dangerous it is for blacks when they merely buy Skittles or wear a hoodie.

We are forever being told by the left about how awful this country is for anyone who is not white.  Blacks are being gunned down in the streets by non-blacks.  Except they're not.  Muslims are being discriminated against wholesale, and are afraid to leave their homes.  Except they're not.  Gun owners are violent crazies bent on mass murder, except they're not.  Christians are trying to force their religion on us.  Except they're not.  Tea Party members are racists and violent.  I believe the Breitbart reward for evidence of the accusations of tea party racism remains unclaimed, even in this day of cell phone cameras and video. 

At the root of these accusations is hatred by the left of its political and ideological enemies.  They hate the lot of us.  READ THE REST

As expected, the Judge in the George Zimmerman case ruled that in addition to Second Degree Murder, she will instruct the jury on the lesser included offense of Manslaughter, as required by Florida case law.
In a surprise move this morning, the prosecution asked the Judge to drop the Aggravated Assault charge and to instruct the jury on Third Degree Murder, which is murder in the course of committing a felony.
The felony the State wanted as the predicate was Aggravated Child Abuse (Jury Instruction) because Trayvon Martin was 17 at the time of the shooting.
According to Don West, the defense was not notified until 7:30 a.m. this morning. MORE

Closing arguments are this afternoon in the George Zimmerman trial.  I hope that the jury will reach the only possible verdict - not guilty.  If so, will there be riots?  Maybe a few local uprisings, but overall I think black folks have moved on to other things. 

Karen McQuillan, in an article at American Thinker, does about the best job of summing up the entire situation I've read to date - and we thank her.  The only time she goes a bit off the rails is when she quotes Juan Williams and refers to him as "hardly a race-baiter."  Huh?

In my almost 68 years on this planet, I have never witnessed a president so foul as to insult the citizens of this country in almost daily name calling and incitement of division. He preens in his own self importance while playing endless rounds of golf,  flying around the country burning up what must by now amount to billions of dollars of fuel, and being endlessly amused by the low-brows of Hollywood.   Well, I have a news flash for you, Barry.  You are the biggest dupe of all if you actually don't know that you're nothing more than a sock-puppet.  And when the time comes that your position of world's biggest useful idiot comes to an end, you won't have to worry about there being space under that bus packed full of your "enemies."  No, siree.  They're going to grab one of your custom Canadian-built buses and stuff your sorry ass under it.  Makes no never mind to them.

President Obama vs. George Zimmerman: America Loses

As the Zimmerman prosecution falls apart, the country faces the threat of race riots.  A case that lacked any evidence of malicious murder was wrongfully brought to court under political pressure.  And our president, who instigated this mess, is floating above it all, having moved on to other things.  Will Obama speak out to avert the racial violence he set in motion?  Unless he sees some political advantage, the answer is no. The first article is a lead in to the second article which explores much of Martin's Facebook page.   Shortly after the incident I logged onto Martin's Facebook page.  By following links to his "friends" a picture emerged that was in direct opposition to what I was hearing on the MSM.  The page has been taken down, but not before Treehouse took some screen shots.  I can verify that the screen shots Treehouse has posted are ones that I read.

This is a picture the police released showing the can of "tea" that Trayvon Martin was carrying the night he was shot.  Please note that it is not tea.  It is a can of watermelon flavored fruit juice drink made by the Arizona company.  Treehouse will tell you why this is important.

 

Zimmerman: "I didn't know if he was armed"...

I have refrained from commenting on the media circus surrounding George Zimmerman.  None of us were there, and none of us have all the facts.  However, when Zimmerman was being attacked by a clearly incompetent prosecutor at his bail hearing, one thing jumped out at me.  Mr. Zimmerman said he was sorry and he said, "I didn't know if he was armed", referring to Trayvon Martin.

 I will make this story as short and concise as I can. It carries two very important messages.

In 1977, while living in Houston, I decided to move back to my native Minnesota.  I ended up in a very fun town home converted to apartments in the Loring Park neighborhood of Minneapolis.  The area was in the first flush of being "gentrified", and while I had to put up with hookers walking around at night, the hardwood floors, high ceilings, and original gas fixtures converted to electric, far outweighed a minor inconvenience like prostitutes gathering across the street at night.

One day at around dusk I decided to take a walk downtown to visit a newsstand and pick up some magazines and paperbacks to enjoy over the weekend.  I stuck some money in my pocket and off I went.

As I was walking down the street, which was fairly empty at that time of day, I saw a man approaching from the opposite direction.  There was nothing particularly alarming about him.  He was dressed in a dazzling white T-shirt and clean jeans.  He was black and he was nice looking.

But something bothered me and I felt alarm bells going off.  That is when I made a serious mistake.  I didn't heed my intuition and cross to the other side of the street, which is really what I wanted to do.  Why?  Because I thought it might "offend" some guy I didn't even know.

Ladies - this is the first lesson to be learned:  Heed your instincts and your intuition because it may save your life.

As he passed me on my left side, he threw his arm out and wrapped it around my throat, knocking me to the ground.  My airflow was instantly cut off and I was unable to scream.  He dragged me across the street and behind a large apartment building.  The parking area was gravel, and I was dragged through the rocks cutting my legs and arms.

By the time he got me behind the building, I was almost at the point of passing out from lack of air.  Somehow, he stood me up and keeping the pressure on my neck from behind, proceeded to suggest all sorts of fun things he was going to do, up to and including rape.

My windpipe was so bruised by this time I could barely speak let alone scream, so I did the thing any good Italian woman is capable of doing.  I started to talk (as best I could).  And I talked and I talked and I talked until I'm sure this guy thought, "Holy crap, of all the women I could have picked, why did I end up with this motor mouth."  I had a good answer for every suggestion of his, and told him if he let me go I wouldn't call the police - blah, blah, blah.

At that point, I was certain he probably had a knife and at any moment, he was going to jam it into my side.  I didn't see a knife, but, listen carefully, I didn't know if he was armed. 

After about thirty minutes he agreed to let me go.  As I ran, with my back to him, I was pretty sure at any moment I would feel a bullet strike me.  Surely , this mook wasn't going to just let me go?  He did, and I lived to tell the tale.

Lesson two:  If I had been armed,  I would not have hesitated one nano-second to have used it.  I would have shot to kill because I didn't know if he was armed, and that should be your response in such a situation.

So when George Zimmerman says, "I didn't know if he was armed", I'm going to believe him, because I was in a similar situation and "I didn't know if he was armed."

not who we think he is?

I really didn't want to post on this case, but Always on Watch has some very interesting links.  I've spent some time following the links and roaming around Trayvon Martin's Facebook page.

Other than that, I have nothing to say.  I wasn't there and I don't know what happened.  What I do know is that Obama, the Black Panthers, and all the rest of the race-baiters are not going to be happy until they start a war. 

Hey - I heard a rumor that 10's of thousands of people all over the country rallied against the HHS mandate yesterday...

surely it can't be true because NONE of the major media outlets said anything about it. 

Instead they were busy telling everyone what race-baiter extraordinaire Jesse Jackson and his race-baiting partner Obama had to say about the murder of a black man in Florida that happened four weeks ago.
