It's Monday...

and I'm going to Costco.

Last night hubby and I watched the three Bill Whittle videos that I posted yesterday It was really the first time we had heard him speak at length and both hubby and I were completely blown away.  I urge you to take the time  and watch those videos.  Have the young people in your home watch with you.  I'm certain you will be as impressed as we were.

Quin Hillyer garners the coveted Quote of the Day Award:

From his article:

If Only Obama Would Abdicate

"This boringly ineffective would-be demagogue in the Oval Office keeps trotting out the same tired, petty, counterfactual lines in every one of his pompous, detached-from-reality speeches -- and he did so again in his Saturday radio address. So shopworn is his refrain, and so counterproductive are his policies (both enacted and proposed), that the markets tank just about every time he opens his mouth, and the economy suffers with each minute he continues to occupy the White House. His resignation from office, in abject embarrassment at his failures, would be a great first step toward economic recovery, not to mention a balm to the souls of tens of millions of Americans sick of his condescension, his prevarications, and his incompetence."  read the rest - it only gets better
 Agenda 21

While Obama and the first woman sup on lobster and arugula, take trips to the beach in 24 vehicle motorcades, and hobnob with the hoi-polloi, we in flyover country are being systematically deprived of our land and our freedom.

I've been following Agenda 21 for several years and have witnessed it's pernicious creep into our everyday life under the guise of "making life better for us" because we're too stupid to manage on our own.   It promises open green space, clean air, and a dolly for every child.  It's the ultimate weapon of the loony left to control us.

Today, Trevor Louden, at New Zeal, has another comprehensive article on Agenda 21 developments.

Obama’s Takeover of Rural America – Vetting Obama
Give him an inch and he’ll take a mile… 95% of America’s land area to be exact – rural America.
You might be thinking this doesn’t affect you because you don’t live in ‘rural America,’ but think again because the agenda in play is to eliminate all property rights in the U.S.
The first order of business is to drive out the 16% of our population who currently live and work in rural America. The final steps to implement the “Agenda for the 21st Century” have begun.
Decades in the making (long before Obama became President), the framework was slowly integrated into the U.S. all the way down to the local level in the form of environmental programs (e.g. Sustainable Development, Smart Growth). With Obama in office, the race to the finish line has begun with a President whose stated goal is “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”
Obama’s administration has initiated the final phase through Executive Order (EO) 13575 and new oppressive regulations. Here’s a taste of the first steps of Obama’s takeover…   read the entire article

Jim, over at Conservatives on Fire, makes his case against Mitt Romney.  Is he right?  You decide.

Why America Should Not Support Moderate or Centrist Republicans in 2012
Among we conservative bloggers, there are many erudite intellectuals.  Some of these very bright people are capable of making very compelling arguments for positions  that are contrary to positions of most conservatives. Let me describe a recent case in point. read the rest and tell him what you think

Off to run my errands.  Play nice while I'm gone, use your inside voices, and since non of you can be trusted to leave my trucks alone - stay out of the damn sandbox.  It's mine and I'm not sharing.
