In my wildest dreams, I would never say the things about anyone passing I've read online about the passing of Rush Limbaugh.

Yeah, I know they're trolls and bots - or whatever.  It doesn't change the fact people's thinking is so distorted as to wish such ill on another human.

Listen up here; never, ever "hope" for ill to come to another person and wish them in hell. You must hope for all, even the most heinous of individuals, to be saved.

To do otherwise is a grave sin and the only damage done is to your soul. Don't do it!!

Hope

 Hope is the theological virtue by which we desire the kingdom of heaven and eternal life as our happiness, placing our trust in Christ's promises and relying not on our own strength, but on the help of the grace of the Holy Spirit. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. The Holy Spirit . . . he poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life.

The virtue of hope responds to the aspiration to happiness which God has placed in the heart of every man; it takes up the hopes that inspire men's activities and purifies them so as to order them to the Kingdom of heaven; it keeps man from discouragement; it sustains him during times of abandonment; it opens up his heart in expectation of eternal beatitude. Buoyed up by hope, he is preserved from selfishness and led to the happiness that flows from charity.

Christian hope takes up and fulfills the hope of the chosen people which has its origin and model in the hope of Abraham, who was blessed abundantly by the promises of God fulfilled in Isaac, and who was purified by the test of the sacrifice. "Hoping against hope, he believed, and thus became the father of many nations.

 Christian hope unfolds from the beginning of Jesus' preaching in the proclamation of the beatitudes. The beatitudes raise our hope toward heaven as the new Promised Land; they trace the path that leads through the trials that await the disciples of Jesus. But through the merits of Jesus Christ and of his Passion, God keeps us in the "hope that does not disappoint." Hope is the "sure and steadfast anchor of the soul . . . that enters . . . where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf." Hope is also a weapon that protects us in the struggle of salvation: "Let us . . . put on the breastplate of faith and charity, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. "It affords us joy even under trial: "Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation." Hope is expressed and nourished in prayer, especially in the Our Father, the summary of everything that hope leads us to desire.

 We can therefore hope in the glory of heaven promised by God to those who love him and do his will. In every circumstance, each one of us should hope, with the grace of God, to persevere "to the end" and to obtain the joy of heaven, as God's eternal reward for the good works accomplished with the grace of Christ. In hope, the Church prays for "all men to be saved." She longs to be united with Christ, her Bridegroom, in the glory of heaven:

Hope, O my soul, hope. You know neither the day nor the hour. Watch carefully, for everything passes quickly, even though your impatience makes doubtful what is certain, and turns a very short time into a long one. Dream that the more you struggle, the more you prove the love that you bear your God, and the more you will rejoice one day with your Beloved, in a happiness and rapture that can never end.

First a word about Mike Cernovich, a master of self promotion.  I'm not calling self promotion bad, just stating a fact.

He credits himself with "breaking" the latest Susan Rice story. Is that true?  I have no idea.

Here's what I do know.

When he first crossed my radar it was self promotion of his book, Gorilla Mindset.  He also posted a Gorilla Mindset seminar on Youtube.  I'm a sucker for self-improvement type stuff, so I started to watch it only to realize very quickly that it's nothing more than a rehash of Chad Helmstetter, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferris, and Zig Ziglar with the addition of the f word.

Really?

You're giving a seminar on self improvement and you have to include the f word and a few random shits? I was done 10 minutes in.

So his latest "breaking news" is promoting the idea that Trump is being deceived, led astray, and manipulated by just about everyone.  He knows this to be a "fact" because of unnamed sources deep within the White House who told him so while declaring it to be pinky swear true.

Mr. Cernovich has been a Trump supporter for almost as long as I have, but now he suddenly thinks Trump is so stupid that he is being misled by all his aides and associates.

I don't buy what Cernovich is peddling, and you shouldn't either.

POW, BANG, WOW, BOOM Don't fall for the MSM doing this to you...

There's been lots of hype about the protests at the DNC.  Frankly, compared to the 1968 convention, these kids are pikers.  The video below shows the MSM trying to get us all excited about a small group of tatted up, filthy looking young people causing mayhem. 

The Fox news people are breathless with excitement and touting the magnitude of the crowd.  Ah, in a word, no.  Notice the clever camera angles of the crowd to try and make it look like there's thousands of people there?  There's not.

Another video at at Fox 29, in which the Philly police commissioner declares the whole affair to be a bit of a nothing burger.  The Fox "news" man on the street was very disappointed and the expression on the commissioner's face is priceless. Commissioner Ross has obviously had plenty of interaction with the press and I applaud him for not rolling his eyes. 

CBS Philly, not wanting to be left out of the action, posted Chaotic Scene Outside Wells Fargo Center After Protesters Breach DNC Security Fence accompanied with the usual footage.

The first video was posted by Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit.  I like Jim, but in his zeal to get Trump elected, he can sometimes get overly loose with his words.  His headlines are replete with words like "Wow, "Breaking", and "Chaos".  Jim is being aided and abetted by one Mike Cernovich, a man who has mastered the art of self promotion.  Both of them make me tired.

Aren't we all exhausted enough with what is starting to feel like a twenty year election cycle to have to endure such sensationalism from the press - on both sides of the aisle?

As always - don't believe the crapola you're being fed.  Do your own research and think for yourselves.
