Glenn Beck's brushed the Cheetos dust off his face...

and gone back to his chalkboard.

About damn time!

From Youtube:
Glenn uses the chalkboard to show exactly who is funding and organizing the migrant caravans across the southern border and how they are connected to top leaders within the U.S. government. We're being twisted inside out and this time it goes way beyond George Soros. Watch this clip and see Glenn back in his element, at the chalkboard.

Crazy making in the U.S. of A...

it's a wonder we're not all wrapped up in a jacket that ties in the back.

Perusing the "news" this morning has left me wondering about the sanity of the American people.

Candle light vigils for a gorilla and death threats being leveled at the parents of the kid who fell in the aforementioned gorilla's cage?  No one loves animals more than I do.  When living in Sedona, AZ, we had a rattle snake take up residence in our walled back yard.  To ensure the safety of our little doggie we had to shoot the snake.  I'm not a huge snake lover, but I felt bad.  And please spare me the "you could have called a snake expert and had the snake relocated", or some other nonsense.  How many of those people mourning the gorilla are supportive of abortion up to the day of natural birth?  Just wondering.

Then we have C. Edmund Wright, over at American Thinker hurling really ugly insults at Trump supporters and declaring it's up to Trump to unite the GOP.  Ah, no.  Here's just a few of the names he calls "Trumpists":  arrogant, ignorant, rude, offensive, and claims, concerning Trump not needing the support of Romney or Cruz that "such unawareness is unseemly and demonstrates stupefying shallowness."

Well, okay then, Mr Wright.  Thanks for your input.

Glenn Beck has been suspended from SiriusXM for comments made during an interview with author Brad Thor.  Some people claim they advocated for the assassination of Donald Trump if he is elected president.  Admittedly, Beck has run off the rails, which is too bad, but I personally did not see anything in that interview to warrant such an action.  But...that's just me.

And then the Wall Street Journal editor has this to say: (emphasis mine)
Bret Stephens, the deputy editorial page editor for the Wall Street Journal, took to CNN television to send a clear message about Donald Trump that included this subtle warning: He must be stopped at all costs and his supporters must be schooled in what’s good for the party.

His words, as captured by Breitbart: “I most certainly will not vote for Donald Trump. I will vote for the least left-wing opponent to Donald Trump and I want to make a vote to make sure that he has – that he is the biggest loser in presidential history since, I don’t know, Alf Landon or going back further.”  source with video
Are you referring to the party that has allowed Odumbo to run wild for the past eight years trampling the Constitution?  In that case consider me "schooled" Mr. Stephens.

A father in Michigan pulled his three boys out of school when one of his sons said he had to share the restroom with a girl.
Stewart said his son told him the girl was told “to look at the wall” while boys were told to stand closer to the urinals, reported the Detroit Free Press.
“As parents, we decided we were not going to force our children to make the decision between confusion, humiliation, and embarrassment,” Stewart told the TV station.
[...]Dr. Carnigee Truesdale-Howard, a pediatric psychologist at Beaumont Children’s Hospital, defended the school’s actions to the TV station and said parents should put aside their “fears and anxieties and educate themselves.”

“How would you want the school to treat your child if your child was transgender?” she asked.  source
If I had a child who thought he/she was someone of the opposite sex, I would immediately seek help to restore he/she to a state of normalcy.

Do you indulge in mainstream media?...

why?

You know you're only being shown exactly what they want you to see and hear.

Two articles which point this out are sitting almost side by side in my Feedly.

From DC Clothesline:

The Illusion of Choice: 90% of American Media Controlled by 6 Corporations
It is worth repeating again and again that the bulk of America’s mainline media is owned and controlled by a mere 6 corporations. This, of course, means that unless you’re already consciously avoiding these mainline media sources, then most of the news and entertainment that makes it onto your screen and into your mind comes from a small pool of corporate sources, all of which play important roles in delivering propaganda, social programming and perpetual crisis narratives to the public.

The conglomerates are: General Electric, News Corp., Disney, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS.  check out the chart they've posted

Weak pansy-assed libtard mayor, Chris Coleman
A bunch of weenie libtards in St. Paul, numbered at 324, get together to disrupt the lives of Minnesota State Fair goers, while Glenn Beck marches with 20K in Birmingham for "All Lives Matter."  I might add, that the "Black Lives Matter" folks had no permit, but were given a police escort, paid for by the tax-payers, by the weak weenie St. Paul mayor, Coleman. So who gets the attention? Why the St. Paul weenies, of course.  source

According to media reports, the people in St. Paul were chanting, "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon" the day after a black man assassinated a Houston sheriff deputy.

I grew up in St. Paul, and have attended many, many fairs.  Blocking Snelling Ave., the main street going to one of the largest fairs in the country (attendance on Saturday was over 188K), is not a small thing.

Minnesota libtards having a "die in" on the Snelling Bridge impeding fair traffic. Dopes...

Guess what else the tax-payers of Minnesota paid for?

How about a commercial truck driving license for a terror suspect?

You just can't make up this stuff!
- A Minnesota man, who Homeland Security identifies as a terror suspect who is on the “No Fly” list, now has his Class A commercial license, which will allow him to drive semi-trucks.

The FOX 9 Investigators revealed last May that Amir Meshal was attempting to get his Class A license from a Twin Cities truck driving school. The $4,000 tuition was paid for through the state workforce program.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety confirms he was granted the license after passing a road test on August 8. A spokesperson said Meshal has also applied for a school bus endorsement, pending the outcome of a criminal background check. read the rest

S.E. Cupp, Hustler Magazine, and...

"that picture."

Short form:   Hustler magazine Photoshops a picture of S.E. Cupp, a political commentator and employee of Glenn Beck, with a penis in her mouth.  The right blogosphere lights up with outrage.  People demand action.  S.E. Cupp gets tons of free publicity, and appears on The View.  Hustler's online hits soar into the stratosphere - whooo hoooo!   Everyone is waiting for NOW to defend her, which they won't do, and who cares?  Bloggers get something to write about, which I guess I'm also doing. My apologies.

Thing is - who the hell reads Hustler, a low-class semi-pornographic rag? You can't even find it in the grocery store magazine area.  You have to make a special trip to a Hastings book store to find it.

Oh wait, I just made a quick trip to Hustler online.  Scratch the "semi"-pornographic label.  Awful!

The left damn themselves with their actions.  Why give them more attention?

Liberals tout the party line of compassion and caring.  They love to slop soup into a bowl at a soup kitchen one Saturday a month and stop off at Starbucks for a coffee and pastry on the way home.  Is there a bit of disconnect there?  Yet they are the first ones to insult and denigrate anyone who doesn't buy into the falsehoods of their "thinking."  Is it compassionate and caring to objectify women and insult the intelligence of men who, I might add, abdicated their role as protectors of women's honor long ago?

This is all just an indication of how far our culture has succumbed to the "female as nothing more than a sexual toy" meme.  Women are as guilty of this as men.  Ever look at a Cosmopolitan magazine cover lately?  If you don't like what's going on, don't support what these lowlifes do.  Don't read their trash, go to their websites, and ignore their rancid TV shows.

It's up to us to set the standards.

Hey Yahoo - since when is the Daily Beast considered news?

The first thing I saw on Yahoo this morning listed under "news" was:  Glenn Beck's Toxic Legacy written by Howard Kurtz of the Daily Beast (no link on purpose.)  Just exactly how can an opinion piece, which was far more toxic than anything Glenn Beck ever said or did, be considered "news."

While the majority of comments support Glenn Beck, the one that really jumped out at me was:
He's definitely a descendent of one of the many pig farmers the English sent to the States when convicted of crime/s, usually petty theft and beastality. He shoud go on 'Who do you think you are' it would be confirmed I'm sure. He looks a lot like Gringrich, Limburgh and some of the other fat- faced men in Congress who resemble pigs, I'm sure they are all related.
How's that for toxic?

More on "Social Justice" & Glenn Beck

I wrote this a few days ago on what Glenn Beck said about the phrase "social justice" being code for socialism.  Nothing has happened since to change my mind that Glenn hit the center of the target.

From Newsreal:

Glenn Beck, Social Gospel and the Spammish Inquisition
by Mark Meed
Like him or hate him, you have to admire Glenn Beck’s ability to take a Louisville Slugger to one beehive after another, with Winnie-the-Pooh like indifference to the consequences. The common thread, largely lost on his critics, is that these are all Progressive beehives. Beck’s concern about the Obama administration, Democrats, Republicans, and, for all I know, The Fraternal Order of Water Buffalo’s, is the extent to which they have been infiltrated by Progressive ideology, which he sees as the great cancer on the Republic. You can agree with this or not but that should be the focus of the argument. read the rest

Matthew Yglesias Dumps on Glenn Beck vs Social Justice

Matthew Yglesias has an interesting post slamming Glenn Beck for calling "social justice" code for socialism.  This is the quote from the Ygeleias site made by Glenn Beck:
“I beg you, look for the words ’social justice’ or ‘economic justice’ on your church web site,” Beck urged his audience. “If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words. Now, am I advising people to leave their church? Yes!”
Mr. Ygeleias cites the Catholic Church, in particular the Vatican website,  the American Baptist Church, and the Episcopal Church as mainstream churches that tout "social justice."  He seems to think Beck is confusing social justice with the charitable acts of churches.

While I think that Glenn Beck's advice for people to leave their church over this is a bit imprudent, the sad fact is he is quite right in his assumptions.  In most cases, even within the Catholic Church, social justice has come to mean a form of socialism.  I was born a Catholic and I will die a Catholic, but that doesn't mean I can't tell the difference between the institutional Church and the divine aspects of the Church.

God didn't leave a raft of angels to run The Bride of Christ (Church on earth.)  He used what was available and that happened to be man.  And sometimes man can make an awful hash of things.  Unfortunately, for whatever reason, we have a bunch of bishops who have fallen into the "greenie-weenie-health-care-for-all-let's-make-all-illegals-citizens" trap that the right espouses, forgetting that their main duty is to teach and lead.  Or as I like to say; they're here as shepherds to help us, the sheep, get to heaven.  This thinking isn't confined to the Catholic Church.  However, I try refrain from making remarks about churches I don't attend.

Those of our bishops who  have wandered from the path of preaching and teaching should pull themselves out of the ditch and get back to doing what their calling requires.  Once they do that, the charity will flow quite naturally from the laity, blessing the world with all the peace and justice it can possibly handle.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue weighs in with this:
Many are hammering Beck for saying, "Am I advising people to leave their church? Yes!" A closer read of what he said shows he followed that quip with, "If I am going to Jeremiah Wright's church. If you have a priest that is pushing social justice, go find another parish."
Beck didn't say Christians should abandon their religion. He recommended shopping around to find a more conservative parish if one is dissatisfied with hearing left-wing sermons. Nothing new about that. In the Catholic Church, there are priests who are stridently left-wing and stridently right-wing; many parishioners shop accordingly. Protestants shop by leaving one denomination for another. And so on. read the rest

Glenn Beck: The Revolutionary Holocaust

Thanks to Left Coast Rebel and all his hard work, I was able to view Glenn Beck's show The Revolutionary Holocaust.   It is something that I can, with all confidence, recommend to anyone and urge you to view. What I saw was nothing new for me, but for many of my younger readers may be the wake-up call they need.

I find it ironic that I watched this on the same night that every station tonight is broadcasting a telethon populated mostly with degenerate Hollywood "entertainers" who would be the first to be annihilated under the regime of their hero Che Guevarra.

Again, many thanks to Left Coast who provided the link to:

One thing communism, socialism, and the "ideal" of collectivism have in common is an absence of a belief in God.  A God who was our Creator and holds all life precious.  Ignore this truth at your own peril.

Glenn Beck Crazy??

Do not tell me this man is a whack job, over emotional, a fear monger, or just plain crazy.  The only reason Glenn Beck is derided by the left and many on the right is because he dares to speak the truth. And to do this from a point of faith is the ultimate transgression in today's world.

One of the issues Glenn addresses in this video is the problem of illegal immigrants. On one of his shows last week, he was talking about the infiltration of our churches by the concept of social justice.  Oh boy, you hear that lots in Catholic circles. Glenn made it clear it wasn't just a "Catholic" issue, but one that was infecting all the churches.

Trust me on this; the term "social justice" is code for socialism. Pure and simple.  Let's take a quick look at the Diocese of Idaho.  Idaho's illegal population is growing by leaps and bounds.  And what does the diocese think is a good way to help these folks? First they turn their back on the truth of the situation.  They refuse to acknowledge the fact that illegals have broken the law just by being here.  Is the law fair? That's not the issue. Until the immigration laws are changed, these people are law breakers.

Second, instead of providing a way for these people, either legal or illegal, to enter into full economic participation in society, they support and promote a system that relegates such people to a form of slavery.  Instead of helping them assimilate into society via classes to teach them English, without which an immigrant cannot get a better job, they provide them with whole sections of the diocesan newspaper printed in Spanish.  Don't like the Mass in English? Not to worry. We'll move heaven and earth to provide a Spanish Mass for you.  We will ghettoize you and separate you from the very things that could better your life.

What about the early immigrants, who upon coming to this country, started their own churches in their mother tongue?  The key here is these people worked hard to build their own churches. They were not provided a church - they earned a church and a community.  However, they raised their children to be Americans, and were proud and grateful to be a part of this country.  They retained their ethnicity while still working to become members of this great new country that welcomed them.

Several years ago, our bishop, Michael Driscoll, sent a letter out for a fund raiser of sorts, to make a plea for money, because "after all, these are the people who picked our lettuce and cleaned our homes."  The implication was clear, and my shock was profound that a bishop of the church would make such an insensitive statement.

It's time the church showed real compassion for these people. They could start by informing them that breaking the law, whether you like it or not, is a sin. And those who are here legally should be receiving classes in English and encouraged to become a part of this great country. How about fund raisers for job training or school? Or citizenship classes? What a concept!!

Obama's Corruption

I'm about half way through Michelle Malkin's book, "Culture of Corruption." I had to wrestle it away from my hubby who somehow managed to snatch it when it arrived last week. Some of what is outlined in this book I knew about, but the detail Michelle provided managed to connect quite a few dots.

Glenn Beck has been talking about the depth of corruption in this administration and how it must be rooted out and thrown in the nearest trash pile. The way to do this is through educating ourselves with the facts.

Valerie Jarrett, Obama's right hand "person", is completely steeped in the Chicago way of doing politics. Is Jarrett the top of the food chain? I doubt it. But she is definitely a big part of the puzzle and her machinations must be brought to light.

Some "must reads"...

Today in Front Page Magazine is an excellent article by Ben Johnson, "Valerie Jarrett, the Next Van Jones." I consider it a must read. It's a long and detailed article, but the time for us to sit back and say, "I'll just wait and see what happens" is long gone. We all must take the time to educate ourselves to the depth of depravity we are witnessing.

And in view of the latest ACORN bust in New York, I highly recommend two articles on the Big Government site, ACORN's Lifeblood and ACORN's Lawless Ways.

There are many days when I am so exhausted and discouraged as I delve deeper and deeper into this swamp of what can only be called evil, that I have the urge to shut down this blog and hide in my gardens. But I remind myself I have readers with way less time on their hands to research and unearth pertinent information than I have. And so I pick myself up and get back to work.

Glenn Beck has asked us day after day to pray for him, his family, and his staff. But most importantly, he has told us to pray for ourselves and our country. In 1Thessalonians, Chapter 5, we are told to "pray without ceasing." I think that's very good advice.

Mexico's War on the United States
by Wes Vernon

It's bad enough that terrorist-collaborating communists are taking over much of Latin America. Bad enough that their Venezuelan ringleader, Hugo Chavez, confers with Iran's nuclear bomb-making dictator. And bad enough that this alliance has led to the prospect that Iranian missiles may end up south of our border (pointed guess where?), while our own Marxist president apologizes metaphorically for hitting their fists with our chin.

All of that is horrific enough. But largely ignored is the fact that our next-door neighbor, Mexico, is carrying on an undeclared war on these United States. read the rest
