Joni Eareckson Tada...

 an inspiration.

I promised you inspiration and you just don't get much more inspirational than Joni Eareckson Tada.

Let's leave aside the ugliness of the left and get to know a remarkable woman who will bring hope and peace to your life and how you view the world.

From Wiki:
In 1967, Joni (pronounced Johnny) dove into the Chesapeake Bay after misjudging the shallowness of the water. She suffered a fracture between the fourth and fifth cervical levels and became a quadriplegic(or tetraplegic), paralyzed from the shoulders down.
During Tada's two years of rehabilitation, according to her autobiography Joni, she experienced anger, depression, suicidal thoughts, and religious doubts. However, during occupational therapy, learned to paint with a brush between her teeth and began selling her artwork. She also writes this way, although for most writing tasks she relies on voice recognition software. To date, she has written over forty books, recorded several musical albums, starred in an autobiographical movie of her life, and is an advocate for people with disabilities.
Tada founded Joni and Friends in 1979, an organization to "accelerate Christian ministry in the disability community" throughout the world. In 2007 the Joni and Friends International Disability Center in Agoura Hills, California, was established.
Led by Tada (founder and CEO) and John Nugent (president and COO), the Joni and Friends International Disability Center runs a multi-faceted non-profit covering a number of program outlets. The longest running program is "Joni and Friends Radio", a five-minute radio program begun in 1982. It now runs four minutes in length and can be heard each weekday on over 1,000 broadcast outlets.  Read more at Wiki
Joni has just recently been treated for the second time for cancer and was declared cancer free just weeks ago.
Not only is she an advocate for the disabled, she is staunchly pro-life and has started a campaign against assisted suicide.
May God bless her...

If you're struggling with the issue of assisted suicide, please, please, please watch this interview she did in 2018.

Joni talks about art:

This song, sung by Joni, is featured in the movie Alone Yet Not Alone, released in 2014.

ALONE YET NOT ALONE is based on the inspirational, true story of Barbara and Regina Leininger, two immigrant sisters forced to embark on a journey of faith that will lead them through the darkness of war into the light of freedom.

You can rent or purchase it at Amazon and it looks like a splendid movie. I'll be watching it tomorrow.  Side note:  my mother's maiden name is Leininger and her family is from Germany. This beautiful rendition of the song Alone Yet Not Alone is performed by Joni Eareckson Tada. Quadriplegic, Joni Eareckson Tada with limited lung capacity due to her disability, had her husband, Ken, pushing on her diaphragm while she recorded the song to give her enough breath to hit the high notes.

The boldness of the commie/libtard agenda...

is what shocks me the most.

Even during the last presidential election cycle the agenda of the vile virtue signaling anti-Christian communist agenda was still somewhat under wraps.  Over the past few years it has risen to the surface like sour cream on top of milk.

I am not so naive as to believe this is the first time evil has lurked about in the world.  Bad people have always existed and will continue to exist.

But I don't recall a time in the history of this nation when evil has become a wholesale commodity spurred on by "social" media and fake news which in the past would be correctly identified as propaganda.

The conservatives are left speechless hearing people declaring things that a decade ago were not even uttered in polite company nor argued about in public.  Arguing about when it's okay to kill a developing baby in the womb, marches declaring "love is love" for behavior that is perverted by all rational standards, and the overt hatred of Christians just barely scrapes off the top layer of rot that the left has produced.

The commie/libtards are perpetually aggrieved, bitter, and envious. They try to cover their inadequacies by appealing to some idealistic idea that as soon as they're in charge everything will be fields of flowers and rainbow unicorns. It won't.

Tomorrow I (a deplorable, nazi, homophobic, islamaphobe, dirt person, and right-wing religious extremist) will bring you a story that is sure to make you feel better about the world and spur you on to all sorts of great things.  Promise!

Prayer is powerful...

and it's most powerful for the person who prays.

This Sunday please offer up prayers for the recently deceased David Koch, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who suffers with cancer.

A message for commie libtard:

If you wished for David Koch's last days to have been painful as Bill Maher did -  "F‑‑‑ him...I'm glad he's dead, and I hope the end was painful", understand that is a perversion of the virtue of hope and a grave sin.

Fletch Daniels summed up the commie libtard hate beautifully at the American Thinker today - and we thank him.

The Creepy Line...

is creepy.
An eye-opening documentary, The Creepy Line reveals the stunning degree to which society is manipulated by Google and Facebook and blows the lid off the remarkably subtle - hence powerful - manner in which they do it.
One of my biggest mistakes is to assume that other people use social media and do Google searches like I do.  So when I hear statistics like "9 out of 10 people don't fact check" or "fewer than 5% go beyond the first page of a Google search" I'm completely gobsmacked.

And I'm still wondering how people can use Facebook for their news source when I have never seen "news" on Facebook. I do see targeted ads which I ignore.  Perhaps someone out there roaming about could answer that for me.

It also amazes me that there are people who don't realize their search results are  manipulated and all their data being stored away in a secret crypt. I guess that goes full circle back to my biggest mistake I mentioned above.

The documentary is informative, eye opening and well worth a watch.  It features Jordan Peterson, Dr. Robert Epstein, and other notable people.

The Creepy Line is free for Prime members and only costs $4.99 to rent for non-members.

Mental Health - Yours, Mine, and the world at large...

it isn't looking good.

First off, apologies for my long silence.  Not only have I been shocked into silence by recent goings on, but I was badgered into having a tetanus booster shot about a month ago.  I was unaware that it also contained a vaccine for pertussis and diphtheria. It did not go well.  The first week I suffered chills, fever, aching muscles, and a production of mucus worthy of a rhinoceros.  Thinking I was okay after a week I relapsed the second week.  I'm still not a hundred percent.

I just started taking NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) yesterday and it seems to be helping.  From all my research it seems that everyone should be taking this for free radical protection.  As always - do your own research.

What has so shocked me into silence?

Seeing and hearing a Trump rally referred to as being reminiscent of a Nazi rally.

I laughed when we (Trump supporters and conservatives in general) were called deplorable, racist, bigot, homophobic, xenophobic, fascist, misogynistdirt person, trailer park trash, right wing extremist, and stupid - do not forget "stupid."

But to downplay the Holocaust and the suffering and death that resulted by referring to a Trump rally as a gathering of Nazis is reprehensible and stupid - do not forget "stupid."  Only a person completely devoid of any historical knowledge would say such a thing.

I've devoted hundreds of hours in an effort to understand the commie libtards.  I get that some of them are psychopaths or malignant narcissists.  I also get that most have been ill-educated in state-run schools. But there is one overriding factor that pops up - lack of any meaningful belief in God and little to none when it comes to church attendance.

There is no way around the fact that to espouse communist viewpoints is to essentially be an atheist and stupid - do not forget "stupid."
