The concept of sustainable development is nothing more than Marxism which has been wrapped in the feel good package of environmentalism. It will create a new permanent federal office (just what we need) that will coerce communities to accept grant money thereby gaining control of where and how you live. It real goal is to control how land is used, population control, and redistribution of wealth.

I remember when you first posted this. It is absolutely scary! Where in the world do these lunatics come from? I believe in protecting mother earth but, not at the expense of human beings. All I can say is sigh!

Thanks for posting this! We were having this discussion on a local forum. Things to watch for in your community, are Sustainability directors on public payroll, the ICLEI program,and the UN Baccalaureate school program.
These things seem innocuous to the uninitiated, but are designed to be camel noses in the tents of our local municipalities. The ICLEI program is active in over 600 American cities and towns.

I had no idea this agenda 21 thing was happening at all. I have been watchful of the UN b/c of parents rights.. having a homeschooled child I am always concerned they would try and take that right away from us ..
