no, really - if last night was any indication of the possibility on any of them beating Trump in the upcoming election it went down in flames.
Since everyone on both sides of the aisle have picked apart everything that was said, I will instead focus on the visuals. What they said is of no interest since not one of that nasty looking bunch could win against President Donald Trump (yes, Abigail - he is your president!)
Going left to right:
Mini-Mike Bloomberg: Wouldn't you think that a man worth billions of dollars could afford a well tailored suit instead of the flopsicle he was wearing. And, Mike, whatever you've had done to your face is not working - literally. The internet claims you're 5'8" tall. No you're not.
Long Arm Warren: Yeah, we get it, Liz, the all black pants and T-shirt with a brightly colored jacket is your "uniform." I know you think it makes you look hip and young and unconcerned about such things as dressing well, but it just makes you look lazy. And, Liz - the little ball earrings are soooo tacky and old. Your flailing arms, bobbing head, and scolding voice doesn't add to your appeal either.
Commie Sanders: We were glad to see you took some effort to actually get a "sort of" haircut and attempt to tame the windswept look, but the suit, Bernie. Dear Lord in heaven - the rumpled unclean looking suit look is just so old folk home looking. Might I suggest you wear a bib while dining? And if you pop over to Amazon you can purchase a posture correcter that could be discreetly worn under that suit. It's even on deal right now.
Sleazy Joe: Another candidate who's had waaaay too much work done on his face. I will give you an up-vote on your suit. It appeared to fit. You may want to drop the faux anger too.
Saint Pete of the butchered Bible verses: Pete - trying to rock the day old beard look is a pathetic attempt to be edgy and with it. It didn't work. Pete, Costco is selling Gillette Custom Plus3 Disposable Razors, 36-count for about $23.00 (on coupon.) I suggest you get some. And the suit? Yeah, that's just what I want in a president - pegged pants legs and big clumpy shoes. Pete - you have a big butt (not going there) and pegged pants just makes it look even bigger.
Squatty Klobachur: Okay - you're short. Not as short as I am so I do have some sympathy. But when you're short and broad wearing a suit dress that could double as a box car is a very bad choice. Next time try a skirt that flares at the bottom, a fitted jacket, a blouse with a V-neck, darker hose, and shoes with a bit more of slim appearance. And throw out the magenta lipstick post haste!
Can you imagine seeing any one of these messy unattractive people meeting with world leaders? Yeah, me neither.
If they don't have the sense to hire a competent stylist to help them dress for success how are we supposed to trust them to run our country?
Last night I spent some time reading comments at Huff and Puff and the majority of them were anti-everyone. Things are bad when you lose the most rabid of your commie/libtard followers.

Ladies - this is a pretty cute travel dress for cheap. I always check out the pictures posted in the comments and it looks nice on the very slender to the rather fluffy. It comes in a bunch of colors and patterns too.

TODAY: Trump rally, Democratic debate, and Bloomberg gun ban bingo...
what to do, what to do?
I've decided to take one for the team and watch the dems compete about how much they want to give away "for free", gun bans, baby killing, and a myriad of other unsavory subjects.
To quote from yesterday's post:
One issue voter:
Every one of these people celebrate the killing of babies up to the point of natural birth - and sometimes beyond that moment.
When I hear anyone say you can't be a one issue voter my reply is, "Hogwash!"
You can and you must!
If you ignore abortion and vote for one of these awful people because you like free stuff and think yourself a Christian - you can't. It's as simple as that. The wholesale murder of babies supersedes all other issues.
For instance, Saint Pete when asked at a town hall last night, "Do you think it is impossible to be a Christian and support President Trump?", answered:
This is a man who and has sex with another man and even claims to be "married" to him, and supports abortion with every fiber of his little being.
So I don't care how much crap he promises to give you, or how much he cares about the defenseless and downtrodden (except babies) - you may not vote for this scripture mangling maniac - or any of the other baby killers lined up tonight to trumpet for a "woman's right to kill her baby."
Bloomberg Gun Ban Bingo
I've been alerted to a great game of Bloomberg Gun Ban Bingo from the folks at Wideners Gun, Ammo, and Shooting Blog - and we thank them.
From their post:
In case you're wondering PLACC is an acronym for The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA)
I'm busy redoing my built in bookcase in the living room. I have to clip on lights on the very top and I have to hop on a footstool to turn them on. I wondered if there was an extension cord with an inline on/off switch. There is and Amazon got it to me in one day. They do have it at Home Depot for the same price, but no one offered to drive it over to me, so I went with Amazon.

To quote from yesterday's post:
Tomorrow in Las Vegas the arrogant/ignorant commie/libtards will gather in Las Vegas for a debate. Michael Bloomberg has qualified to stand beside the blatant commie Bernie, the homosexual Saint Pete (who has again been referencing the Bible and quoting God), the fake Indian grandma scold Warren, dull as dirt (the proper use of the word dirt) Klobuchar, and finally senile creepy Joe Biden. That means I will forego watching President Donald J. Trump at his rally in Phoenix, AZ. Please don't worry about my mental health as our vigorous president will be having a rally tomorrow in Colorado Springs, and the following day in Charlotte, NC which will help reset my psyche.

"Well, I’m not going to tell other Christians how to be Christians. But I will say, I cannot find any compatibility between the way this president conducts himself and anything that I find in scripture. Now I guess that’s my interpretation. But I think that’s a lot of people’s interpretations. And that interpretation deserves a voice.""Now I guess that’s my interpretation." Really Pete? Does your interpretation make it easier for you to sleep at night?

From their post:
We typically try to keep things fairly apolitical here at the blog. But this week, I know a lot of our fellow staunch 2nd Amendment supporters have an eye fixated on politics. Michael Bloomberg, an outspoken politician supporting his own brand of gun control seems to be gaining traction as a legitimate major party candidate for President of the United States.
While we don’t dare tell you how to vote… if a man painted as a villain by the National Rifle Association for more than 20 years is making a serious run, we figure we might as well have some fun with it.
How do you play? Well, it’s easy. Keep your bingo card and ammo handy during any debate Michael Bloomberg is a part of. When you hear him or one of the other candidates mention any of the topics listed on the Bingo card above, mark the spot with your favorite round of ammo. Complete a row, and you’ve got yourself a bingo! We suggest shouting it from the rooftops.Lot's of great articles about ammo and gun supplies on the Widener's site. Check it out

Democratic Debate: I tried. I really, really tried...
to watch the entire clown show.
Managed about an hour before calling it quits.
Harris opens by making a direct comment and threat to Trump in her best shuck and jive imitation of Odumbo.
Someone calls Trump a racist. Actually, pretty much all of them did.
Yang promises us a 1,000.00 a month.
Castro accused Biden of not remembering what he said two minutes ago. Castro was wrong.
Bernie, skillfully displaying his anger, spits out all the free stuff he's going to provide.
Warren managed to dodge answering almost 100% of her questions.
Buttigieg called all Trump supporters racist.
Rat faced "Beáto" promised to confiscate guns.
Booker bemoans "white supremacy" and vows to form a department to end it.
Klobuchar pretty much disagreed with everything everyone else was saying and tried her darnedest to be "Minnesota nice" which is just another way of saying, "I'm passive aggressive."
Biden struggled to keep his teeth in his mouth.
Onward:
The weekend will kick off with a giant harvest moon tonight. Looking forward to the huge orange moon peeking up over the horizon. It will be over 150 years before we see another one on Friday the 13th.
Wheat Free
About 25 or so days ago I decided to get serious about giving a wheat and grain free life style a shot. It really has been easy and I feel great. The upside? I've lost about 14 lbs. The hardest part has been keeping my calorie count up to a reasonable level with many days logging in at 700 calories. That's not an appropriate amount for someone who is active as I am.
Personal Stuff
Posting may be a bit lighter for a few weeks. We're juggling a new roof install, painting the exterior of the house, adding electric outlets in the barn, a new glass panel in our rear slider, and the restoration project on the property - involving a chainsaw and many hours of work.

Once again I recommend James Clear's book Atomic Habits. I loaned out my original copy so I just purchased another copy. I decided that the original copy would remain a "loan out" copy.

Democratic debate and some other stuff...
because it's Monday.
Watching a couple ofsocialists communists debating the fate of our country is something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. When you hear someone say this election is pivotal, they're not exaggerating. Make your choice wisely.
Frank and Fern have left the building.

A decision made:
Should I, or shouldn't I, get a toaster oven? Buying a big ticket item is simple for me. Buying a $200.00, or even a $1.00 item, involves endless research, thought, planning, and consultations. After many weeks of pondering I have decided to get a toaster oven.
It doesn't make sense to heat up a full size oven when you're cooking for two people.
The one I've picked out is the Cuisinart® Chef’s Convection Toaster Oven, available at Costco for $219.00. The same oven at Amazon runs about $40.00 more.
I'm thinking that the savings on electricity over about 1 1/2 years should pay for it.
I really am not happy about adding an item to my counter top, but I think the convenience will make up for that. Plus, I have counter area that I rarely use for anything else. The toaster that lives in the cupboard will be going to the thrift store.

They will be missed. Frank has said that he will leave the blog up so we may all access the archives. There is a wealth of information and wisdom they have gifted us with.[...]The time has also come for us to say farewell. The condition of our world is such that, if you've been reading here long, you know our efforts are focused on completing projects that will hopefully make our lives a little easier when the collapse occurs. Time is precious and there aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish the things we see as imperative to our survival. Thus, this will be our last article for the foreseeable future. read the rest

Tet, Take Two:
Islam’s 2016 European Offensive
by Matthew Bracken
More than a decade ago I wrote my first novel, Enemies Foreign and Domestic. Part of my motivation was to establish my bona fides at forecasting social, political and military trends. I didn’t like the direction America was heading, and I wanted to warn as many readers as possible about some of the dangers I saw coming. At the end of 2015, I hope that my past success at prognostication will encourage people to pay heed to this essay.
As we roll into the New Year, we are witnessing the prelude to the culmination of a titanic struggle between three great actors. Three great social forces are now set in motion for a 2016 showdown and collision that will, in historical terms, be on par with the First and Second World Wars.
Two of these great social forces are currently allied in a de facto coalition against the third. They have forged an unwritten agreement to jointly murder the weakest of the three forces while it is in their combined power to do so. One of these two social forces would be content to share totalitarian control over large swaths of the globe with the other remaining social force. One of these social forces will never be satisfied until it achieves complete domination of the entire planet. So what are these three great social forces? They are Islam, international socialism, and nationalism.
Allow me to explain the salient aspects of each, and how they relate to the coming 2016 cataclysm. read the rest

Democratic Debate Summed Up...
succinctly.
The live stream from ABC is so bad, I'm sure I missed some important points. On the other hand, maybe not.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
If Hillary Clinton steals the upcoming election, this country is doomed.
It may be too far gone already.
Time for a timely reappearance of one of my favorite kittehs.
The live stream from ABC is so bad, I'm sure I missed some important points. On the other hand, maybe not.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
- Take away everyone's guns.
- Close the gun show "loophole" that doesn't exist.
- Establish a "hug a Muslim" day. Apparently if we're really, really nice to them they won't cut off our heads.
- Raise the minimum wage because if people have more money they'll spend more. Golly gee - that will be so great for the economy. A copy of Economics 101 is being sent to all three of them.
- Free health care, except not one of them could tell us how much this free health care was going to cost.
- Free college. Typical. Create a problem, and then offer the solution.
- Black people are being picked on by hateful evil white people.
- Hillary - lets spend 10 billion dollars to fight heroin addiction. How about more programs? It's the fault of the doctors who prescribe too many drugs.
If Hillary Clinton steals the upcoming election, this country is doomed.
It may be too far gone already.
Time for a timely reappearance of one of my favorite kittehs.
Democratic "Debate": To watch or not to watch...
that is the question.
I could even watch it on my TV except I'm not sure I could handle a big huge Hillary.
It would be sort of fun to see Bernie go after Hillary. And who can deny that O'Malley is amusing?
I'm going to take a nap and ponder the question.
Sanders Campaign Manager: “Using discovery we will prove there are some in the DNC propping Clinton up.”
Wait, what? They're just figuring this out?
