I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the “right” and Liberals are called the “left.”
I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible:
“The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.” Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)
Thus sayeth the Lord.
Can we hear a big Amen?

I contend that while our side is properly deigned "right", other team wold be better named "wrong" than "left".

That's might be providential. The real reason goes back to the French National Assembly after the Revolution. The radicals sat on the left side of the hall, those who favored continuity with the ancien regime sat on the right. Hence, radicals were "Leftists" and conservatives were "on the Right."
Interestingly enough, conservatives (who started springing up in England around this time) took to calling themselves the "Conservatories" -- the ones who conserved. This was shortened, in England, not to "conservatives" but to "tories." Hence the nickname for conservatives in Britain and Canada -- the Tory Party.
Even more interestingly enough, Edmund Burke, the grandfather of modern conservatism, was not a member of the Tory Party, but was a Whig.

Now it is time for those of us in the US who are on the RIGHT to -

I is the great I AM the Three in ONE (in this case-Jesus the Christ) speaking-
Occupy is a military term -meaning Hold the Ground Won-
thus Christ gave us a COMMAND- to hold the ground HE won--let's roll!
