I also have to question why a family of four, with a household income of $96,000.00, needs to be "heavily subsidized" while "gutting Medicare Advantage to the tune of $170 billion."
Once again, we need to get on our computers, phones, and make use of snail mail to let these thieves in Washington (who, by the way, are exempt from this) know that "we're sick and tired and not going to take it anymore!"

Well, I think the Democrats are seeing the writing on the wall in regard to their overall agenda, and they will try to push through as much of it as they can before their members start getting skittish in light of the upcoming 2010 elections. The key thing is the how well conservatives do in the elections tomorrow. If there is a win in New Jersey and/or by Hoffman in NY, then the Democrats' will likely not be able to move their agenda forward.
Mark - I kid you not - I've been reading this bill and it so much worse than you can imagine. It is truly terrifying...
I wish I could go to Washington on Thursday...
