PelosiCare Insanity

Here's even more on this monstrosity of a bill that the elites will try and shove down the unwilling throats of the American people.  The figures are staggering and yet Pelosi and friends will look you right in the eye and tell you that our deficit will go down.  I'm not a math wizard, but it is clear to me that scenario is only in their dreams.

I also have to question why a family of four, with a household income of $96,000.00, needs to be "heavily subsidized" while "gutting Medicare Advantage to the tune of $170 billion."

Once again, we need to get on our computers, phones, and make use of snail mail to let these thieves in Washington (who, by the way, are exempt from this) know that "we're sick and tired and not going to take it anymore!"

From the Wall Street Journal:
[...]
In a rational political world, this 1,990-page runaway train would have been derailed months ago. With spending and debt already at record peacetime levels, the bill creates a new and probably unrepealable middle-class entitlement that is designed to expand over time. Taxes will need to rise precipitously, even as ObamaCare so dramatically expands government control of health care that eventually all medicine will be rationed via politics. read the rest and weep

Well, I think the Democrats are seeing the writing on the wall in regard to their overall agenda, and they will try to push through as much of it as they can before their members start getting skittish in light of the upcoming 2010 elections. The key thing is the how well conservatives do in the elections tomorrow. If there is a win in New Jersey and/or by Hoffman in NY, then the Democrats' will likely not be able to move their agenda forward.

Mark - I kid you not - I've been reading this bill and it so much worse than you can imagine. It is truly terrifying...

I wish I could go to Washington on Thursday...
