Once I went to confession , and Mass was begining so the Priest left, and I was left kneeling in the confessional. Then I heard the choir begin,I thought to myself- "there is no way in hell that I am going to go out of here now -everyone will laugh at me." (even though the kneeler light was on , and everyone could see that someone was in there.) So I stayed put, until I heard someone gently knock on the door. When I emerged, I was mortified, everyone seated on the North side of church laughed at me. Catholicism can be so painful. ;)
