Obama the Classless, the mind of a liberal, blacks need understanding, and other stuff...

because we have a several day reprieve after weeks and weeks of rain and there is much to be done outside.

Fresh off his triumph of being awarded the "Profile in Courage" award, Obnoxious Barry hops on private jet to wend his merry way to Milan wherein he enjoys a 14-car entourage to his hotel so he can tell us dirt people why we need to use bicycles or walk to save the planet.

Notice he's bagged the baggy suit in favor of an oh-so-European cut jacket.  Looking fly, Barry. Now go away.

James Comey thinks we need to understand black people better:

Monday at the Anti-Defamation League Conference, FBI Director James Comey said law enforcement “officers and deputies and agents” need to do a better job “understanding” the communities they serve, including “the history and journey of black America—the hopes, the dreams, the disappointments, and the pain.”
I understand that more than a few of their "hopes and dreams" were dashed because of flight delays at the Fort Lauderdale airport and they suffered from "disappointments and pain".  I guess it was part of their "journey" - or non-journey as it were.
The group of passengers who clashed with cops were angry because the last-minute disruptions meant they would miss a graduation ceremony.
A mob of irate customers began beating the counters and screaming at staff, prompting airline employees to call the police.
Shocking footage shows people shouting as they are dragged from the terminal building. Video of the mayhem HERE
Actually, not too shocking.  We're getting used to it.

Health Care and Health Insurance are not the same thing.

Here are two articles that sum up the problems with the way health care is delivered in the country:

LL, over at Virtual Mirage:
[...]The market for health insurance should look like the market for auto insurance or homeowner’s insurance: coverage you buy on your own, instead of depending on the government or your employer to buy it for you. Supplement that market with financial assistance for the poor and the chronically ill, and you’ll have achieved market-based universal coverage, along the lines of Switzerland’s health care system. And the ever irascible Ann Barnhardt explains quite well how insurance actually works:  Insurance: the Abject Fraud of Covering “Pre-existing Conditions”

James Lewis does a masterful job of smacking done the elitist never Trumpers.  Good for him!

The Real Reason Washington Post Republicans Hate Donald Trump

When George Will and other leading intellectuals started to rip holes in their warm comfort couches in despair at Donald Trump's long series of victories, culminating in his election to the presidency, a lot of us were scratching our heads.  What was it about winning that drove George Will, Jonah Goldberg, and Bill Kristol to despair?
It made no sense.
Their Conservative Cringe makes even less sense today, when Trump is carrying out a series of actions that we have long clamored for. Well, Mr. Will has finally identified his complaint in a WaPo opinion piece dramatically called "Trump Has a Dangerous Disability."  Read the Rest

Taking a Peek into the Mind of a Libtard

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

This morning, Fran Porretto, over at Liberty's Torch, reminded me of the five stages of grief as defined by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross.  I've been watching (from afar) the stages being played out to perfection by the few libtards in my acquaintance.

First we all witnessed (1) denial on election night along with grief that was so overwhelming that it produced displays of wailing and gnashing of teeth that no adult should do in public.  "No, no - this must be wrong.  Hillary should be elected."

Next they got (2) angry.  The women donned silly pink pussy hats and gathered together to screech and howl like banshees on steroids.  Again - in public.  The men?  Not sure the left has any men, to be honest.

After fueling their anger with a few more marches, they started (3) bargaining.  "Dear Gaia in heaven - make it go away and I'll plant a tree and never kill another dandelion."

Following all this angst they've finally reached (4) depression.  Yes, indeed.  They've been fairly quiet lately because they're too damn depressed to get out of bed.  Marriages are breaking up, suicide calls are on the upswing, and the lefty therapists are having a field day racking up hundred dollar 50 minute hours.

The question is, will they ever reach level (5) acceptance?

And therein, dear poodles, is the reason we call liberalism a mental disorder.  It manifests in a detachment from reality, anger, and finally a soul destroying state of depression.

After reading the following screed (it's wise to see what your enemy is thinking and, make no mistake, a libtard is the enemy), you will understand more clearly with whom you are dealing.

How to Stay Sane if Trump is Driving You Insane: Advice From a Therapist

It is written by Robin Chancer, who describes herself as a "behavioral specialist, sensitive social worker, immigration enthusiast, ready to laugh and cry at a moment's notice."

That description sounds like she needs more than a few hundred dollar 50 minute hours herself.

She preaches the concept of acceptance.  Will they do that?  Oh, hell noes!

Don't miss the comments, either.  There's not a lot of them, but they offer further insights.

Today at Amazon:

If you don't have an Instant Pot yet, Amazon has it on sale today for $89.95.  This is the 6 quart and the model that I have.  If you have a very large family or batch cook, you may want the 8qt.  Considering the speed of cooking in the Instant Pot, the 6 qt is perfectly adequate for most people and I don't think the extra money for the 8 qt is necessarily worth it.

Bill Whittle: Stories Liberals Tell: How Conservatives Can Win Back the Country and Rush on Liberalisim......

according to Bill we need to start telling our own stories.

But first - Rush.

Yesterday, Rush Limbaugh opened his show by talking about how easy it was to be a liberal.  Luckily, I was able to find a transcript on his site so you won't have to be subjected to what would, no doubt, be my tortured paraphrasing.

I realized that he was describing every single liberal I know.

From Rush:
Do you remember the name John O'Sullivan?  Used to be the editor at National Review in the days shortly after -- well, Mr. Buckley was still alive and running the place.  And he also was a prominent position holder at Lady Thatcher.  And he said something once that I think a lot of people have forgotten if they heard it in the first place.  And I'm paraphrasing, but John O'Sullivan said any organization, any group, any bureaucracy, family, you name, any group of people, any organized group of people that is not actively conservative will become liberal.

Liberalism is easy.  It's the default position.  If you want to love yourself with no reason, if you want to love yourself for caring and doing nothing, if you want to love yourself for thinking you are very compassionate and very concerned, liberalism is easy.  Conservatism is an applied process.  You have to actively be conservative in the way you think and live on a daily basis. It's not because conservatism is hard.  Most people live their lives that way.  It's just that liberalism is so seductive.  It's a set of false promises, and it's a set of illusory things that make surface emotions easy as pie.

All you have to do to be thought of as a good person is to look at suffering and say it bothers you, and that's it.  You're a good person.  Well, that doesn't do a thing in terms of solving the problem.  But you don't have to solve the problem to be a good person, to be a liberal.  All you have to do is be able to recognize it and then convince people that it bothers you and that it shouldn't be.  And then, if you learn very quickly that you can blame other Americans for that misery, then you're an even better liberal.  And that's all it takes.

But conservatism is an applied, I believe, intellectual process.  I know that most people live their lives that way.  I mean, you don't walk down the street and give your paycheck to neighbors, but you'll vote for people that do it for you.  People live their lives that are conservative don't know it.  Republicanism, conservatism has a brand problem, if you will, and liberalism, it's just easy.  If you look at the Republican Party, for example, it is clear, is it not, that in these six years of Barack Obama, the entire country has shifted to the left, including the Republican Party.

You may not like hearing it, and you may say, "Rush, look at the election result."  Yeah.  Yeah.  Of the people who voted, we overwhelmingly rejected it.  But not even half the people voted in this country in the 2014 midterms.  Of the people who voted -- and that counts, don't misunderstand, the people who vote are the ones that do end up making a difference.  See, I've gotta be very careful.  I'm not trying to dispirit anybody here.  But the Republican Party has abandoned conservatism.  And according to O'Sullivan, what's happened to 'em?  They're becoming more and more liberal.

Obama is shifting the entire country liberal.  You don't automatically default to moderate.  Moderate is also something you must try to be.  Despite what people think, being a moderate takes effort. You have to consciously object or accept things.  Liberalism doesn't require consciousness, is my point.  All it requires is emotion on your sleeve, and bingo, and you've accomplished it.  It's why I've always said it's the most gutless choice you can make because it takes no effort and you end up being thought of as a wonderful person.

The Republican Party clearly has abandoned conservatism, and what's happening to them?  They're indistinguishable, at the leadership level, from the Democrat Party in terms of issues.  Name it:  amnesty, Obamacare, you name it, you can't spot significant difference in the two.  There's more and I suggest you read it

From YouTube:
Liberals have dominated the storytelling and culture making industries for some time now. So how do Conservatives win back the hearts and minds of America? Find out, as Bill Whittle takes a look at what has made Leftie Hollywood such a success, and discusses some options for the Right. Because, if we lose the culture for good, we will lose in the ballot boxes too.

Libtards are bullies...

you know that's true.

How many times have you squelched your true opinion in order to avoid a confrontation with a libtard?  I have done this many times because, at my core, I don't like confrontation.  And when confronted by someone who gets in my face and calls me stupid, I usually choose the path of least resistance.

All too often, the worst offenders are family members, who will speak to you in a way they would never speak to someone outside the family.  Because I believe in the Constitution, think abortion is inherently evil, and homosexuals are called to chastity, my own family has labeled me as a "hater" and religious fanatic.  Their loss.

How about the rest of the people you come in contact with, and how we should deal with them?  First, study and know the Constitution.  Read or re-read the Federalist Papers.  And then when someone says guns should be outlawed, you will be in a position to calmly ask them to explain the 2nd amendment.

For every statement they make that is antithetical to the constitution, ask them to explain the pertinent amendment.  And keep on asking.  If they ask you a question, respond with a question. Do not back down.  Avoid all references to your "feelings."  We don't care how anyone "feels"; we operate with facts. If they bring up their feelings, and they surely will since libtards operate on emotion, repeat the previous sentence to them.

Whenever possible, find something funny about what they're saying.   If they become ugly, respond by saying, "It's clear we are unable to have a rational adult discussion", and walk away.  By walking away, you have guaranteed that you will live rent free in their heads until the day they become room temperature.

Why I support Obama...

a look into the mind of a liberal.

A recent picture has been circulating among the people who consider themselves the "intelligentsia" listing the reasons they consider most important to reelect Obama.

The country has added over 6 trillion dollars of new debt,  23 million people are out of work, which doesn't include the people who have given up even looking for work, tens of millions of people have been added to the ranks of the disabled, and millions more are now on food stamps.  Billions of our dollars have been diverted to so-called green energy companies in what will go down in history as the biggest money laundering scheme ever.  ObamaCare is decimating businesses and causing lay-offs, and four Americans were sacrified in Benghazi in what can only be called an act of treason by this administration, and the following is why they think Obama deserves another term.

These people, who can be referred to as the low-information voters, are more concerned about "free" birth control - an issue that was never an issue until a very short time ago, homosexuals being able to "marry", and the mourning of dead fish, than they are about dead Americans.

They live cocooned in a world awash in soy lattes, surrounded by others of their ilk, and neither fact-check their assumptions or converse on the issues with anything other than ad hominem attacks.  They demand tolerance while displaying an intolerance for conservatives or religious people that can only be called, well, intolerant and they completely fail to see the irony.

You can't turn the Titanic around in a day?  In case you haven't gotten the news, the Titanic sunk and so will you.
