Let's start by acknowledging that many people are finally starting to understand what is going on in this country - but not nearly enough.

What makes it difficult is that all of us toiling in the bottom of the mud-filled trenches are finding nuggets of information, and having to make coherent sense of it all.

I promise you that everything I'm going to post are related nuggets that begin to form a whole.

Let's start off with this very interesting article posted yesterday at American Thinker, The West is One Vast Social Engineering Experiment, by Wen Wryte (a pseudonym)

His closing statement may make you want to read the entire article:

"The West is now one vast social engineering experiment with virtual Skinner boxes for conditioning the inmates.

Those determined to retain their insight and critical faculties, their intellectual independence and their moral sovereignty, may well become a minority within a generation.

Why is this not a matter of serious public concern?"

Next up is Larry Lambert's article, The Mark of the Beast?, covering RFID chips, their use and the possibilities of misuse, electronic money, and facial recognition. LL makes no moral judgement or definite statement one way or another. He leaves that up to you.  It's another nugget of information to tuck in your head.

Moving on to The Night Wind's post, What's Behind the Mask, wherein the matter of "who benefits" is clearly laid out.

So this brings up an interesting question. Who really benefits from this Mandatory Mask nonsense? Political power-junkies and Mass Media sensationalists do; but they're pawns in something larger.  This next video is from Info Wars, so it's really only about 3:00 long. The other two minutes at the end is Jones advertising his supplements - which is okay with me. He needs to make a living too.

This video covers the New Age and cult indoctrination inherent in mask wearing.  I have done many talks to church groups about the dangers of New Age thinking that has become so popular in the past 30 or so years, and my research was deep and detailed.  Trust me, Oprah, and the people she promoted, were not benign happy little creatures spouting off about "luv."  Nuzzled right up with Oprah are the "prosperity gospels" touted by many TV evangelists. 

Nox and Friends has a post, ALERT! NYC FULL LOCKDOWN!! FORCED CHECKPOINTS AND IMPRISONMENT!!  including a very informative video (approx 7:00).  Coupled with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, authorizing the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to shut off utility service to properties where large parties and gatherings, are held in violation of public safety orders should scare anyone. NB: No number of attendees is given for the gathering to be in non-compliance, so a gang banger party of 100 at a rented mansion and a Bible study of 10 could be equally guilty. Watch his remarks HERE (approx 3:00).

Finally, our always entertaining, MOTUS AD, has a look at the school situation that is bubbling away in the background with: School: Accept No Substitutes. 

Take these nuggets and then read up on "gaslighting." You are being lied to on a daily basis. If you don't buy into the prevailing lies, you're called a "crazy conspiracy theorist".

Sarah on the Oprah Show

It's taken just a small amount of time to skim about 20 articles about Sarah Palin's much anticipated appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.  They range from fawning adulation to overt derision.  Sandwiched in between these two extremes are the pseudo-intellectual meanderings of people vetting every word and inflection of not only Sarah, but Oprah.

Is there no one who will just say the truth?  It was nothing more than an appearance of a woman, who appeared to be telling the truth, on a fluffy daytime talk show.  It was not worthy of adulation, and it certainly didn't deserve to be castigated.  Sarah seemed to be honest and was very charming. Nothing more or less.

Have we lost our ability to see the obvious?   Things really can be simple.   Occam knew that, and so do I.  My favorite saying has always been, "Let's cut to the chase."  That's one of the reasons I detest meetings.  A group of folks in a meeting will rarely "cut to the chase." They form steering committees instead.

I think Sarah knows all about Occam's Razor and my bet is that she too, wants to "cut to the chase."

Discernment

   Over the past week or so, we’ve talked about some of the ways God speaks to us. I have not covered all the ways, nor delved very deeply into the ones we did discuss. I expect my readers to do further research on their own, and my only purpose is to get the ball rolling.

   Which brings us to discernment. I used to hear this word and immediately think of “spirits” as in witches and warlocks. After spending a year on my Ignatian Retreat, I had a much better appreciation of not only what discernment really was, but the importance of developing a keen eye for the truth.

   Discernment simply means that we exhibit sound insight and good judgment. We tend to be good at this when it comes to everyday objects or occurrences. If we don’t like a certain food, for instance, we don’t eat it. If we are cold, we put on a sweater.

   Yet, when it comes to our immortal soul, we often exhibit far less care. We live in an age of information overload. If you are reading this, you have probably already checked out the number of Catholic websites, blogs, and news agencies. Some of them are a source of great wisdom and some are a scandalous barrage of nonsense.

   And, let us not forget that “oracle of wisdom”, Oprah Winfrey and her ilk, which would have you believing you “have the power.” The messages of the quasi-New Agers and “feel good” merchants of deception are swaying far too many Catholics. New Age practices and thinking is no longer creeping into our churches; it is now a full gallop. Now, more than ever, discernment is needed.

   How do you protect yourself, gentle reader, from information that is not in tune with Catholic teaching? Well, first you must discern what is right and what is wrong, and to do that you must know your Catholic faith. It is part of developing that well-formed conscience we talked about yesterday.

   Try starting with the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I’m shocked at the number of Catholics who do not own, nor have even read the Catechism. If you like your information on-line you will find the entire Catechism right in front of your nose. Catholic Culture provides reviews of Catholic websites that can be very helpful. Find a spiritual advisor who is authentically Catholic to help you discern.

   And, don’t forget prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you travel your road of conversion. I can’t say this often enough; conversion is not a one-time event – it is a life long commitment to growth and change.
