perfect representatives for the party of commie/marxist/libtards.
Watching this travesty of a "debate" with Nancy Pelosi waving her hands about and actually making an opening statement referring to the meeting as "coming together to have a prayerful" debate should set your teeth on edge.
Pelosi makes it known that she would much rather have a "private" meeting and then maybe go out and spin some crap for the media. No, Nancy. Just, no! Let the world see what a bunch of obstructionists you all are. Everything, except that which concerns national security, should be broadcast. No more backroom chit chatting.
Her concern is for the America people? I don't think the ordinary dirt person ever enters what is left of any conscious thought she's possible of conjuring up from the depths of her addled brain.
Schumer weighs in by essentially calling the president of the United States a liar, and both he and Pelosi keep rattling on and on about not shutting down the government and how worried the average person is about such an outcome.
I have news for you two - the average person in the U.S. would just as soon the majority of the government was shut down permanently. The feds meddling in education, environment, energy, and the numerous HUD programs should all be abolished.
Afterwards, Schumer and Pelosi spoke to the press with Pelosi saying she suggested that Trump pray over their proposals. Really, Nancy? I suggest that the one who needs to pray is you. An abortion supporting "Catholic" needs for her pastor to explain to her that because of her support for killing babies in utero she's on a fast track to hell, is not in good standing with the Church, and should never receive Holy Eucharist until she makes a good confession and publicly rescinds her support for abortion.

Politico: Pelosi privately disses Trump’s manhood after White House meeting (since this statement was made "privately" and it's coming from Politico, it may or may not be true. You be the judge.)

It seems people are in an uproar about Jimmy Kimmel getting talking points from Chuckie Schumer...
and we should care - why?
Seriously.
Jimmy Kimmel, a not very funny guy, who calls himself a comedian, is blah-blahing about health insurance on his late night show, and people actually pay attention. Supposedly, Schumer provided him with sound bites and talking points. Again I say, "So what?"
The headline at The Blaze is a head scratcher: Jimmy Kimmel’s credibility on health care questioned after this revelation
Call me silly, but I wasn't aware he had any credibility on issues like health insurance.
I will defend his right to blah-blah all he wants - it is, after all, his show; a show I will admit to having never seen.
I will also defend my right for not listening to him or any other peeps populating the insular world of entertainment.
I find it disturbing that so many people actually make decisions based on information from a late night talking head.
At least The Blaze finishes with a bit of wisdom for all of us:
Jim Hoft, over at Gateway Pundit, does a pretty good job of explaining the lie that is Obamacare.

Kimmel persuaded many Americans against the Graham-Cassidy bill with his passionate attacks from atop his soapbox on his late night show. It would have been more honest of him to admit that he got talking points from a top Democrat instead of pretending he was studiously and objectively poring over the legislation. If you want to know about pending legislation, the best way is to go and studiously and objectively read the bill.

Bobble head Chuckie Schumer attacked unsuspecting couple with an outrageous anti-Trump rant?...
doubtful.
But that doesn't stop the echo chamber from declaring it so.
Their confirmation bias is on full display.
I don't like Chuck Schumer.
Many of us on the right don't like Chuck Schumer.
Is Chuck Schumer a jerk?
Yes.
However, everyone is reporting today that he confronted Joseph Califano, former US secretary of health, education and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson, and his wife Hilary in a restaurant and caused a scene.
Two completely opposite stories have emerged.
Number One Story: Schumer lost his marbles in the restaurant and caused a huge scene screaming and ranting at Califano's wife who reportedly voted for Trump.
Number Two Story: The Califano's stopped by the Schumer table, had a nice chat, and they all proceeded to leave at the same time. Once outside, Schumer accused Trump of being a liar, which Hilary Califano considered a bit rude.
Which story is true?
Who the hell knows, and more important, who the hell cares? But that didn't stop the click bait headlines from emerging from the morass of confirmation bias.
Is my headline click bait? Why, yes - yes it is, and I did it to prove a point.
We've established that lots of people don't like Schumer and want, with every fiber of their being, for Schumer to have gone bat guano cray cray in public.
It appears this "story" started at the Page Six site with their "exclusive" report on this nothing burger of a story. Yeah, right - Page Six is on the top of my list for insightful reporting.
May I remind you at this point of my motto? Sure I can, 'cause this is my blog and I can say whatever I want. The only thing that ever stops me is an inborn squeamishness over being too honest in public, but that may be coming to a screeching halt.
"All news is fake news until proven otherwise™"
Over the past few weeks it has become increasingly difficult to take much interest in any "news" site or blog. Everything is "Breaking News", or worse "Boom!"
The sky is falling (at the rate it's been raining around here, this may be true), Trump is a complete failure (at 60 some odd days into his 4 year term?), bombs are ready to drop on New York (hope this one is true since New York is on the opposite coast from me), my microwave is spying on me (probably true since I haven't had a working light bulb in my microwave for 10 years), and cats are sleeping with dogs (true.)

Fake News relies on incurious readers. They look at the headline. They see a link to letters. They think gotcha, especially if they are dupes who voted for Hillary.
I support a free press.
When do we get one?
I tire of their darkness.
