New York's No Salt Diet

It started with the ban on trans-fat and our french fries have never tasted right since.  Now salt.  This so absurd that it makes Alice's rabbit hole seem pretty possible. 

I can see it now - a whole new bureaucracy of inspectors to infiltrate restaurants searching for hidden salt.  No doubt they'll reward whistle-blowers (with tax-payer money) who rat out their employers.  Better keep that sous chef happy. 
 Some New York City chefs and restaurant owners are taking aim at a bill introduced in the New York Legislature that, if passed, would ban the use of salt in restaurant cooking.

"No owner or operator of a restaurant in this state shall use salt in any form in the preparation of any food for consumption by customers of such restaurant, including food prepared to be consumed on the premises of such restaurant or off of such premises," the bill, A. 10129 , states in part. read the rest

This is just crazy. How much more are they going to legislate? Before you know it, the only thing we'll be allowed is bread and water...and no salt in the bread. We're being governed by a bunch of lunatics.

This is crazy there is a feedom of speech law but you can not eat what you want and seasoning it like you want this is going to make NY lose money people will leave NY and eat in other states like NJ,etc... GET A LIFE AND LEAVE NEW YORKERS ALONE
