"Refugee Resettlement" is a Money Making Scam...

and you're paying for it.

The time to fight back is before your town or city is overrun with people who have absolutely no intention of assimilating while sucking up resources and causing mayhem.

These people are being brought in by contractors, most notably:

• Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS)
• International Rescue Committee (IRC) (secular)
• US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) (secular)
• Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services (LIRS)
• United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)
• World Relief Corporation (WR)

The contractors make money for every "refugee" they dump in your city.  After giving them an initial amount of federal money to help them get settled, they point them in the direction of every city. state, and federal welfare program available.  They overrun the schools which must supply interpreters, halal meals, and probably prayer rooms too.  Your local property taxes pay for this. 

The time to make your best effort to stop this is before it happens.  Minneapolis is overrun with Somalis and they're attempting to bring more into St. Cloud, MN where the drug addled governor of MN, Mark Dayton, famously told the citizens if they didn't like it they could move to another state. 

In my backyard, word is that they'll try to dump a bunch in Sandpoint, and possibly Bonners Ferry, both just north of where I live.  Coeur d'Alene. just a few miles east from me, is also a possibility. 

Sandpoint, Idaho

Sandpoint is a beautiful small tourist town on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille (pronounced Pon-da-ray.)  There aren't enough jobs for locals, let alone "refugees."

My choice for governor of Idaho in the 2018 election,  Rep. Raul Labrador, (R-ID) Chairman of the House Immigration and Border Security Subcommittee, is trying to do something about this issue.

As an immigrant from Puerto Rico he is most definitely not anti-immigration, he simply wants it to be done correctly and lawfully - as his mother did.

Idaho is a Wilson-Fish State as is Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee and Vermont, and Rep Labrador is doing his best to remove Idaho from this onerous bill.

What is Wilson-Fish?

There are 3 ways in which the federal government disburses the 8 months of federal refugee cash assistance (RCA) and refugee medical assistance (RMA) funds to eligible refugees. These funds are disbursed through:

• a state administered program, or,
• a public-private partnership program, or
• a Wilson-Fish “alternative” program

I urge you to go to Refugee Resettlement Watch and read What you need to know about Wilson-Fish and how this bill is being perverted to put refugees where they're not wanted. Even if you don't live in a Wilson-Fish state please remember that these people move to other places. Refugees being placed in North Dakota head to Minneapolis to live in the "Little Mogadishu" of the Cedar- Riverside district. Minneapolis is also the leader for providing ISSIS with a large number of their terrorists.

In February of this year over 60 refugees were placed in Spokane, just across the border in Washington, and spitting distance from me . Guess who's shopping in the Post Falls Walmart?

If some of this information comes as a surprise to you, understand that the MSM doesn't report the truth. They deny turmoil in the schools, keep fairly quiet about Muslims demanding the food banks stock halal food as they did in Minneapolis, and cover up the crimes commited by refugees.

So far, the citizens of Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry are being very proactive to stop the possibility of Muslims being dumped in their community. Rep.Raul Labrador (R-ID) annihilates lefty group Indivisible in Coeur d'Alene...

and we thank him.

I'll be including some comments along the way which will be in red. And let me also say this is not a completely "fair and balanced" report.  I am a conservative who finds the antics and stupidity of the average libtard to be annoying, but also very, very dangerous. 

The Indivisible group, after the bad press they received about their out-of-control rude behavior at a previous town hall, were "mostly" kept in check by their feckless leaders at last night's town hall with Rep. Raul Labrador in Coeur d'Alene.

I say, mostly kept in check, because I had a woman and a man behind me whose ear-shattering screams posed a serious threat to my ear drums, until I turned around and told her to cut it out. Evidently, the sight of my little folded up Totes umbrella laying harmless in my lap scared the crap out of her, and she shut the hell up.  Nothing causes fear like a little old lady with an umbrella, doncha know.

Raul Labrador answered all questions, including the abrasive negative attacks with aplomb, facts, and graciousness I would have never been capable of doing.

He started out by saying that rudeness and shouting at each other was not permitted.  The attendees were free to shout or boo at him, since he was used to it, but the people were to maintain a respectful attitude toward each other and the questions asked - no matter how stupid, ill-informed, over-emotional, or just plain crazy the questions were. 

People who wished to ask a question were given a ticket and if their number was called, they could proceed to the mic to ask their question. The majority of the questions were hostile, lacking in facts, and like most libtards based on feelings and emotions.  Indivisible was exchanging tickets to make sure they got to ask the majority of the questions.  

Most of the questions were centered on health care/insurance with one outlier concerned about Amtrak.  Huh? I guess he had worked for the railroad for 40 years.

I was staggered by the amount of disinformation these people exhibited, so anyone who thinks that propaganda fake news doesn't work, they would be very mistaken.

Just this morning, I saw this clip of Anderson Cooper claiming that Rep. Labrador was essentially a liar, miscreant, heartless, and hated by all. Why? Because he said, "No one ever died from lack of health care." (To clarify:  I don't know at what town hall Raul made this statement.  The clip that I linked above to Cooper shows only Raul saying this without any context or reference to what he was asked or what statement to which he may be responding.)

One questionnaire from last night said she was a 40-year veteran of home health care, and she knew of a woman who had no health insurance, and by the time she saw a doctor, her breast tumor was the size of a baseball, and she subsequently died.

 My first thought was that woman must have been monumentally stupid.  The clinic that houses my Medicare PA is also a center for Medicaid patients.  I sit in the waiting room and witness young tattooed festooned women, who are easily 300 pounds, being treated for diabetes for free, while surfing their expensive iphone. 

Notice I said, physician-assistant and not doctor.  Anyone who hasn't retired yet, be forewarned regarding the glories of Medicare.  You will in all probability not have a doctor - you will have a physician-assistant.  That, dear friends, is how "free" health care works, which in the case of Medicare, is anything but free.  We paid all our lives, and we continue to pay each month so we can have "free" medical care compliments of our PA while the "less fortunate" get a totally free ride. 

Time after time, the same questions were asked about coverage for pre-existing conditions until finally, after almost two hours, Rep. Labrador had to say, (paraphrased) "I've already answered that question at least ten times and I'm not going to answer it again."

As the politicians like to say, let me very clear:  There is no such thing as "insurance" for someone who has a pre-existing condition.  You don't buy house insurance after your house is burning down, you don't buy collision insurance while standing on the side of the road with the front end of your car shoved up to the steering wheel, and you don't buy health "insurance" after three heart attacks or having a raging case of diabetes caused by being 100 pounds overweight.  "Insurance", for people with a bad health history, is nothing more than charity from the federal government with money forcibly wrung for the pocket's of the tax payer. 

Since I am a pragmatist, I also realize that for a politician to not address that problem is a sure way to never get any kind of bill passed.

A few outraged over-emotional women approached the microphone, not to ask a question, but to read page-long statements of angst.  One even said she found the sight of a bunch of white men (no one is more hated by the libtards than white men) lined up in the Rose Garden after passage of the bill, to be repulsive - her exact word. Raul had to remind her that he was Latino and there were two women standing right behind the podium -  one of whom was Rep. Cathy McMorris Rogers (R-WA 5th District)

When the founder of the local Indivisible group got to the microphone, we had to hear of his conversion to Christianity (virtue signaling), and he proceeded to tell us (with mangled scripture references) what his "Master" informed him was moral and right. 

At this point, I have to say my desire for a high end recording device has moved to the top of my want list, because I can in no way do justice to Raul's response.  Raul, a Mormon, managed to squelch any further nonsensical virtue signalling scripture quoting crapola from this smug little red-diaper-doper-baby who, to his credit when Raul was finished, said something along the line of, "Um, ah, thank you for coming, Rep Labrador."  

It made my heart sing with joy.

Left Wing Group "Indivisible" comes to Coeur d'Alene...

and has a bulls eye on Rep. Raul Labrador's (R-ID) town hall tonight.

Where did Indivisible come from?  Good question.  So, as usual, I did my due diligence and after several hours decided that Wiki did an okay job on explaining the origins of this divisive group.

Indivisible has a whole agenda based on disruption and rude behavior.

It's already happened here and now they have plans to upset Rep. Labrador's town hall this evening in the wake of his "yes" vote on the health care bill just passed in the House.

Rep. Labrador's Facebook page erupted in over 600 comments, mostly by members of Indivisible, with the major theme being "eat sh*t and die."

I have never witnessed a Tea Party member, or any conservative in North Idaho, disrupt an event held by a Democrat or any other libtard, and yet these people feel it is their right and duty to cause mayhem.

I have also never witnessed a bunch of conservatives trashing public spaces, attacking police, starting fires, or screaming obscenities.

Tonight, breaking my rule of avoiding crowds, I will attend the town hall in support of Raul Labrador.  I will also arrive early and by doing so will occupy a chair that a member of Indivisible will not have access to using.

The following opinion piece, by staff writer Steve Cameron of the Cd'A Press, reported on what he witnessed a few days ago at a local town hall.  The Cd'A Press is a notoriously left wing rag, so I was not surprised that Mr. Cameron walked back the entire piece this morning.  He claimed he was "angry" and allowed his emotion to color his reporting even though it is clearly labeled an opinion piece.

It will give you a taste of the Alinsky type tactics used by Indivisible - shouting, profanity, and chaos.

I am personally acquainted with Sen. Mary Souza and Reps. Luke Malek and Paul Amador who had their town hall disrupted.  While I'm not always in agreement with Malek and Amador they, as well as Mary Souza, are good people. Since none of them are in my district, I did not attend the town hall reported on below.

I also know Raul Labrador and voted for him.  If he runs for governor of Idaho (rumored), I will also vote for him

I am also personally acquainted with many of the members of Indivisible North Idaho. Some are teachers at North Idaho College and I know for a fact that they are aligned with the Communist Party and consider Vladimir Lenin one of their heroes. They have been poisoning the minds of young people for decades with a subversive agenda.

COEUR d'ALENE — If you've never seen a session of the British House of Commons, you could have received a classic international civics lesson at North Idaho College Monday night.  

Of course, that wasn't really the plan.

Actually, it was supposed to be a town hall at which Idaho's District 4 delegation — Sen. Mary Souza and Reps. Luke Malek and Paul Amador — could field questions from the audience and presumably put a final exclamation point on the 2017 legislative session. 

Instead, a significant portion of the crowd actually did behave as though it were bully politics in London — shouting over the speakers, yelling at each other, applauding people who were incredibly rude and, at times, threatening to stop the entire event. 

Essentially, the rowdy members of the audience consisted of just what you'd expect: anti-Trump protesters still shocked by what they consider a leader whose legislative agenda might hammer at their everyday lives. 

The irony of this madness was that the targets were three common-sense, moderate Republicans who — despite some truly heated back-and-forth exchanges — often were trying to agree with the questioners.“We're just trying to show you how passionate we are about this,” one woman said to the legislators. 

“Your passion is commendable,” Souza replied, “but shouting at us doesn't make your case any better. You can do it in a normal tone of voice.” 

Oddly enough, the event started quietly with all three legislators congratulating first-time political participants. 

And it took a bit of time for the first visitor to approach the microphone set up at the front in the middle aisle. 

Even the first questioner came in peace, wishing to ask how citizens could learn more about candidates and issues. 

From there, however … 

Chaos. 

The fuses that set off several blasts were predictable: climate change and health care. 

A woman with a science degree actually screamed into the microphone about the Legislature even bothering to debate science curriculum on climate change — and the human role in it — when there is a “global consensus” on the issue. 

Amador tried to explain that, as an educator himself, he had advocated leaving the current standards in place — basically agreeing with her, although she didn't seem to grasp it. 

Souza set off the crowd with the most routine of explanations.“There are other members in Boise who don't necessarily want to deny climate change or take it out of what is being taught,” she said. “They only suggested there be more balance, because there are some people who disagree with those theories.” 

That answer set off shouts and frankly obnoxious remarks from around the room — and amazingly, the worst was yet to come. 

Over and over, the legislators tried reminding the crowd that they could only work on measures that would affect Idaho, but that such laws were critical to everyday life in Coeur d'Alene. 

They also had to repeat that they were only three of 100 members in the Legislature, and therefore were not in a position to enact bills before the night was over. 

But the individuals who came simply to bash President Trump and his policies would not be silenced, and some of the loudest remarks were stunningly crude. 

A few started their questions respectfully, like the woman who said: “You have to understand that we're terrified every morning.” 

Malek tried to engage her in dialogue, but got nowhere. 

“Buck up,” he said, clearly intending to explain that the election was over and that everyone — including Idaho's citizens and its Legislature — would need to work with the consequences. 

Those two words, however, set off fireworks before Malek could finish his sentence, and people started hollering, “You buck up!” at all three legislators. 

Like most events with a loud minority of frustrated, angry people, this town hall will be remembered mostly for all the shouting. 

And the silliest part of the whole circus was that these three legislators actually have actively worked to prevent damage in the areas for which they were insulted — like guarding the environment and making sure no one falls through the health care cracks. 

“That's my No. 1 priority,” Malek said. “We have to make sure there are no barriers to good health care that all Idahoans can afford — regardless of circumstances.” 

All three reminded the audience that no new national health care policy had yet been enacted, so they were in no position to parse out individual items. 

And yet the loud demands kept coming. 

Even the mega-polite Souza finally told one argumentative questioner: “Enough. This is finished.” 

Eventually, so was this town hall that, just perhaps, set a tone for the next election cycle. 

The good news: There was no actual damage to people or property. 

On balance, that was a win for the legislators and NIC.

At today's luncheon, Rep. Labrador spoke only briefly and spent over an hour answering questions from the attendees.  His manner was calm, straightforward, and all his answers were articulate and complete. 

My favorite question?  Who should Romney pick for VP?

Rep. Labrador's answer was completely unexpected, and one I've never heard before.  Since I didn't record his answer, this is a paraphrase;

He said Romney should pick someone who not only qualifies to assume presidential duties, should the need arise, but someone he feels comfortable being with, and who enhances who Romney is by making him an even better man.  Interesting...

His personal choice for VP?  Paul Ryan!

Looking South and slightly west with the Spokane St. bridge in the background. There is a wonderful park (Q'emlin pronounced ka-mee-lin) on the south side of the bridge (hiding behind the pine tree) where we'll be attending a BBQ with Senator Mike Crapo on Friday evening.

Just west of the park is the Post Falls dam.  The Spokane River flows from Lake Coeur d' Alene east to Spokane.  I remember when they added the orange protective buoys after some fishermen ignored the warning signs and slipped over the dam into the great lake in the sky.

 I found this very cool video of the dam shot using FPV.  The little park next to the dam and by a backwash is somewhere hubby and I love to take our breakfast.  You can view the video in a larger version by clicking on Post Falls Dam Wide Open below.
