Is Michael Savage Right? Will fake news and an attempt to remove Trump lead to civil war?...

maybe.

Things are slowly returning to normal around here after my husband's hasty and late night hernia surgery.  But guess who gets to continue doing the heavy lifting for the foreseeable future?  I'm going to have shoulders like a linebacker in a few more weeks. (Note from Mr. Adrienne:  She already has shoulders like a linebacker, can whip my ass at arm wrestling, comes equipped with Italian killer instincts, and is definitely someone you don't want to tangle with in a dark alley. I've been terrified of her for close to 40 years.)

Onward:

The news has become so egregiously phony the MSM and libtard blogs don't even try to hide it anymore.  I guess we've moved on from "Russia, Russia, Russia" to "McMaster, McMaster, McMaster."  Just because everyone has jumped on the "McMaster is a traitor" bandwagon doesn't make it true.  It seems the world is filled with "unnamed sources", "sources close to...", and anonymous tipsters".

So about this Trump removal thingy.

I've never felt that a perfect storm of civil unrest was seething on the horizon until just recently.  I was a Trump supporter from the moment he rode down that escalator with his wife to announce his run for president.  I voted for him.  I still support him and think he's doing a great job, especially considering his job has been Sisyphean.

If any virtue signalling, stupid, and venal libtards think they're going to take my vote, and the votes of other Trump supporters, and pitch them in the trash can of history, I don't think I would be able to contain my rage.  Just thinking about such an occurrence makes me want to grab the closest liberal and choke the life out of them.

Michael Savage:

[...]“That is what’s going to happen in this country,” he pointed out. “You have not yet seen mob violence in this country. You’ve seen some mob violence instigated by George Soros’ mobs.”

“But you haven’t seen the thing I’m telling you is coming in this country. You haven’t seen the ‘Day of the Locust’ yet.”

Savage was referring to the 1939 novel The Day of the Locust, which analyzes the violent rage of Americans who slaved away their entire lives only to realize that the American dream was impossible for them to achieve.

When Eddie finally gets up and says that’s the end of the road, and Eddie’s eyes turn red, and blood is in his eyes, Eddie will turn this society upside down,” the Savage Nation host said. “And if [the left] take(s) Trump down, through Mueller or through any other source and deny Eddie his vote, there will be a civil war in this country.”

“I’m warning you. All of you leftists who think you’re going to steal our vote, you’re wrong.”

“…But if you do the next step and steal our president, I warn you. You’ve seen nothing yet,” he added. “You will see the ‘Day of the Locust’ in this country.”  source
You may feel free to call me Eddie.  I've had a lifetime of putting up with elitist SJW snotty libtards and their fake concern and holier-than-thou approach to the normal people of the world.  You've called me homophobic, xenophobic, transphobic, deplorable, and an ignorant dirt dweller. The only thing you haven't called me is by my real name - normal.
Normal people don't think a man who calls himself a woman is normal.  Normal people don't think it's okay to teach teenage girls as young as 12 that sodomy is A-okay.  By the way, Teen Vogue - it's not "anal sex", it's sodomy!  Normal people don't march around declaring that islam is a "religion of peace."  Notice the muslims aren't marching. It's the stupid white people who are clamoring for their own destruction.  That's not normal. The mass killing of babies in the womb is not "choice", it's murder, and it's not normal for a woman to kill her own child.
I have no idea if McMaster is a leftist plant as many people think.  I do know that everything I read now is suspect and deserves very little attention.

Let's take some advice from Kurt Schlichter

[...]Time to say “No.” Time to refuse to go along and get along. Time to fight the culture war instead of surrendering to the lies. Time to fight the legal war and refuse to allow our justice system to be exploited by prosecutors so biased and dishonest they wouldn’t pass muster in 1600s Salem. Time to fight the political war against the frauds, fakes, and Flakes infecting our party.
Because if we don’t, they are going to keep pushing and pushing and pushing, and they are going to demand we submit to subjugation, and then we’re going to have to fight another kind of war to preserve our liberty and our Constitution. And that would be really, really bad. Mostly for them.  read the whole thing

Some great deals at Amazon

On the upside and exciting side - my orchid is going to bloom.  Really!  I decided it needed some orchid food.  Amazon to the rescue again.  My chances of finding orchid food at Wallyworld, Ace Hardware, or Lowe's was zero to none.  Okay, to be fair, it turns out that Lowe's did have orchid food, but during this heat wave and blanketed in smoke since we're surrounded by forest fires in Eastern Washington, Canada, and Montana, a drive to Coeur d'Alene to purchase one item was not high on my list.  My nice mailman plopped it in my mailbox - and I thank him.

Jade Helm and the U.S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Group at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia...

are there churches in Syria that look like this?

Maybe Afghanistan?

How about Somalia?

I didn't think so.

This morning I watched the following video over at Info Wars.  Yeah, I know, home of the crazy Alex Jones.  Rest assured, I would never subject you to the rasping sounds of Mr. Jones.

This video features two of his "newscasters" or whatever they're called on his site.

They report on a show that was on C-Span in which Colonel John Petkosek, commander of the U.S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Group at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia, is interviewed.  Included is a tour of  the 300 acre facility which opened in 2014.

The Infowar guys are pretty focused on the people who called into the  C-Span show, and will play clips of the calls during their report.  These callers are all fairly alarmed, and bring up things they find weird about a training center that looks amazingly like small town America.  One caller asked about the confiscation of guns after Katrina, and worried that could happen again.  Another caller asked about Jade Helm and astoundingly, the commander said he really didn't know anything about that operation (that could be true since the armed forces operates in separate little bubbles.)

Infowars is spinning this as the great public awakening to the possibility of subversive activities going on right under our noses.

They're wrong.  Dead wrong!

At breakfast, while explaining the highlights to hubby, my brain suddenly had an explosion of activity on the cellular level (always an exciting occurrence.)  Anytime something lights up over a plate of bacon and eggs, it is to be taken very seriously.

When listening to these calls, something kept nagging at me. My spidey sense was on overdrive.  Why would C-Span allow such inflammatory calls? Surely the calls are screened. And why did each of these calls focus on different events that have different groups of citizens concerned?  That's when I knew the answer.

These calls were all planned and scripted.

It gave Colonel Petkosek an opportunity to tut-tut over concerns citizens may have over some things that are going on in this country.  The reality, at least for me, was that many of the things he said made absolutely no sense.  You know that feeling you get after someone talks and talks, and when they finish you sit back and say, "What the hell did he just say?"

What better way to calm the sheeple back into their complacency than to have a nice reassuring authority figure like the good Colonel explain away all their concerns.  And it must be on the level because it's on C-Span, after all.  And, look how transparent they are in allowing all those alarmist type calls.

Here's the link to the complete C-Span interview
with Colonel Petkosek

Moving on to Alex Jones and Michael Savage on the possibility of a full fledged race war.  Okay, I  lied about subjecting you to Alex and his rasp, but he sounds pretty decent in this short clip.  Listen to what Savage says and see what you think.  While listening, keep two things in mind: Fast and Furious and these words spoken by Obama in 2008 in Colorado:
“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we set. We’ve got have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

It's human nature to engage normalcy bias.  We find it hard to believe as we head off to Starbuck's, that there may be things going on about which we know nothing.  Fifty percent of the time I'm tut-tutting myself, and the other fifty percent of the time I'm saying, "What the hell?"  It's at that point I remember Auschwitz and the Jews being complacently led off to their slaughter.   The full article: Savage: Obama may arm U.S. gangs for race war

Michael Savage: Trickle Down Tyranny...

is he right?

What I've heard so far about Savage's book has been good.  I have not read it, but I have it on hold at the library.  Mr. Savage is a polarizing figure.  We used to listen to him years ago but none of our local stations carry him anymore.

This morning while cruising around I bumped into a review of his book by Wes Vernon.  That made me stop and take notice as I have the utmost regard for the opinions of Mr. Vernon.

From: Wes Vernon

It is with a mixture of caution and fascination that one reviews a book by Michael Savage. Some toxic controversies in which he has been embroiled transcend his worldview (about which some have questioned).

Consider, however, that the British government outrageously has denied him entry into its kingdom and that some 10 million Americans are drawn to his radio talkshow. Like him or not, he is not to be ignored.

In Trickle Down Tyranny: Crushing Obama's Dream of the Socialist States of America, the author makes the case that — unlike Obama's 43 predecessors (good and bad) who merely made mistakes — this president is suspect of deliberately attempting to bring down the United States.   read the rest
