Rick Perry in New Orleans...

"Let's speak with pride about our morals and our values..."

"Let's stop this American downward spiral...from too much spending, interfering, and too much apologizing."

I'm thinking he's the man to watch, come 2012.

A great speech. Perry is definitely the guy in the wings right now to watch. Of all the announced candidates, the only one that would be competitive with him right now is Romney. Perry would immediately dominate the space to Romney's Right. Of course, there is a difference between being a pre-candidate and being a candidate, and there is a risk that Perry could flame-out if he formally entered the race (like Trump did once he started getting a lot of media attention). Of course, Perry has been governor of Texas for awhile, so he's already a seasoned politician. That makes him a formidable force.

Of course, aside from Ron Paul, I would at this point vote for any of the Republican candidates running for president right now if they were the GOP nominee.

Hey Perry,

Why have you bent over backwards to advance the North American Union? Is our national sovereignty not dissolving fast enough for you?

Your Yosemite Sam speeches don't fool me, buddy. As a CFR/Bilderburg member, you are in the same club as Obama and the rest of the central planners - I'm so onto you.

By the way, don't try executive ordering my daughter's STD vaccination - you signature on those EOs come pretty cheap in my opinion.

Priscilla and Angel - I agree. If this guy runs he's going to get the nomination.

Mark - 2012 = ABO (Anyone but Obama)

republican mom - I've been reading up on the things you mentioned. The STD thing really bothers me as do a number of other issues.

I don't jump on any bandwagon until I've vetted them. I thought the right swooning over Herman Cain was a bit premature, and IMO I am being proven right.

That video where he lost his temper with the leftie reporter really bothered me. It bespoke of someone with a short fuse. Not good.
