New! Vitabath Lime Citron...

launched exclusively at Costco on June 6th.

I've used the original Spring Green Vitabath for over 40 years.

I'm excited...

You're not old enough to have used that for over 40 years.... ;)

Blue - Sigh - if only...

I have hubby hooked on the Spring Green, too. I buy a HUGE bottle about every 1 1/2 years from drugstore.com. Costs about $75.00 but worth it.

You'd love it - smells like a pine forest. Wonderful!

When I first started getting this it was only carried in a few high-end department stores. Still hard to find, hence drugstore.com.

Ivory or Irish Spring is good enough for this old guy.

I'll tell you what else Irish Spring is good for. If you have problems with rabbits eating at your plants, take an Irish Spring bar and shred it or use a potato peeler to it. Then sprinkle the soap all around the plants that the rabbits are eating and it will keep them away. It's biodegradable and won't hurt the plants. If the rabbits come back, just sprinkle more around the plants.

I've used this on my Hosta's that were being chewed down to the ground every Spring by rabbits and have not had a bit of trouble since. I buy the large packages of the Irish Spring soap from Sam's Club and after shredding it, I keep it in a zip lock bag so it's available when I need it. It's a lot cheaper than buying the stuff at the hardware store to deter rabbits and other animals from munching on your plants!

That was my Nunly gardening tip for the day. ;-)
