While we're all distracted by our "gutsy" president, things are squirming in the background.
The Heritage Foundation has this to say about the bill:
I have not had the time to read the entire bill but knowing that the sponsor is bobble-head Chucky Schumer gives me pause. Noisy Room has a post that unpacks the bill Senate Seeks to Create Caesar. The bill reduces the number of presidential appointments that require the consent of the Senate and establishes within the executive branch a Working Group on Streamlining Paperwork for Executive Nominations. Individuals nominated to senior executive offices suffer slow and detailed background investigations and mounds of duplicative paperwork before a President sends their nominations to the Senate. After nomination, many nominees suffer time-consuming inaction or time-consuming and excruciating action as the Senate proceeds (or does not) with consideration of the nomination. The sponsors of S. 679 have identified a valid problem, but proposed the wrong solution. Congress should not enact S. 679.
Some commenters at Noisy Room think the bill is harmless and the post author, Terresa Monroe-Hamilton, is "over-reacting."
What do you think?
As usual, I will read the bill before commenting.

What's my reaction?
Automatically stinks to high heaven if Chuck U. is behiond it.
And if the stated objective is "...reduces the number of presidential appointments that require the consent of the Senate..." it is *very suspect* when we have so-called "czars" running around.
Sounds like the usual suspects trying to put one over.

"Because the Only Good Progressive is a Failed Progressive"
The Constitution gets in Barry's way quite frequently.
I think it's more ways for Barry to circumvent the will of the people and the United states Constitution, like he needs anyone to make it easier for him - he just dies wtf he wants to anyway. It's not like there are any watchdogs or whistle-blowers left in the media to call him out on this crap.
Everything this administration does stinks to high heaven....
Everything.
