Erica - AKA 6 pounds of fury... |
This morning she only managed to draw minimal blood (from hubby thank goodness.) She's surprisingly well behaved at the vet and it only took two people to "pill" her. When she saw the worm pill headed her way, she clamped her jaws so tightly every pit bull in the county was in awe.
We decided she needed a teeth cleaning and the vet had time so she stayed for the procedure. Two of her teeny tiny razor sharp teeth had to be extracted and now I have a teeny-tiny pissed-off drugged-up kitty staggering around the house. Life is good!

Apologies for not responding in a timely fashion to comments. I've had comment moderation on for years due to a few really nasty trolls. I finally decided that my readers were mature enough to recognize a crazy when they see one, and the inclusion of the "c" word would not produce any long-term deleterious psychological effects. However, I'm not used to comments going directly to being published. I will adjust in time - and I thank you for your patience.

And Obama, more concerned with the possible stoppage of abortions, would rather cut off military pay than defund Planned Parenthood (who, incidentally, provide birth control pills for girls as young as 13 without the knowledge or consent of the parents.) Sick!

What a DOLL, the wife was just over here cooing over her- and I love the colors
But this kitty might be a little more fun online at this point, from the sound of things lol- had a rough life so far, she'll settle down in your loving home no doubt- if she only knew the spoiling headed her way!

Enjoy your weekend~
Six ponds of fury. Sounds like a movie title....And by the way Adrienne, you are moving back towards the top. Thank you. Heh.
Awwwww, Little Ericka has the cutest face on a kitty I've seen ever! I hope she's feeling better soon.
You should get her one of those harnesses I see people with little dogs and pools have, There is a handle at the top across the pet's back, so you can pick them up like a cat carrier without the carrier!
I love the name! I had a kitten, long ago, who could have given Ericka a run for the money on the name! And like my old kitty (Sweet pea), Ericka seems to be a calendar pet, i.e. poses for the camera!
Thanks for the link love. We're over the river, but not yet through the woods...
What a beautiful kitty!
A few years ago, we found a home-care vet. My kitties love him! No more fury, no more urinating all over the place on the exam table.
RR - Erica has resided in her "forever home" for about three years now. She came to us a starving little creature who simply would not leave. Sigh.
She's actually a terribly sweet little kitty who panics at getting into her carrier.
I've left the carrier out and I'm going to stock it up with kitty goodies to see if we can't change her mind.
Right now she's sitting in her assigned place on my desk full of pain meds and a bit wobbly but at least she's purring again.
Randy - yep - the top is the place to be. I think most women that are "vertically challenged" (in my case 5'2") agree.
Bunni - I've never seen such a thing but the visuals in my mind are hysterical. Going to look that up...
pj mom - Erica has never taken a bad pic yet :-)
AOW - I was thinking how nice it would be to have a home-care vet about the time Erica let out the most horrific growl to emit from a cat, evah...
