Some quotes from his "surprise" visit to the WH press briefing. I believe he showed up right after Mr. Gibbs was finished making fun of Sarah Palin. How's that for transcending petty politics?
How could I possibly add anything to what he has said? The arrogance of this man has no boundaries - none!- "The people who sent us here expect a seriousness of purpose that transcends petty politics," Obama said after the meeting, as he made a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room.
- "We can't afford grandstanding at the expense of actually getting something done," Obama said. "What I won't consider is doing nothing."
- "I won't hesitate to embrace a good idea from my friends in the minority party, but I also won't hesitate to condemn ... what I consider to be obstinacy," Obama said.
- He also threatened to act unilaterally to install his choices for several government vacancies that normally would require Senate confirmation, if his nominees continue to be held up.
Meanwhile, Michelle will be monitoring what your children eat.

Anyone that has traveled by road across this country knows, there are many poor Americans in need of free Health Care. Some Charity is better than none.
If we pray for him, and do penance, perhaps the Lord will change his heart about abortion, contraception, and the like.
I don't think he ran for the Presidency to go down as a loser.

Obama is being handled by Rahm and Axelgrease to "act tough" in order to bring up his poll numbers. He certainly has no intention of working in a bi-partisan manner, especially regarding the health care bill. He is now in the process, along with Fancy Nancy, in bullying the Congress to pass the Senate bill as is. If he doesn't get that, he will ram it through in a surprise middle of the night vote. The man is beyond arrogant, he's a classic narcissist.
And before Michelle starts preaching about obesity, she should take a gander at her backside and I hope she doesn't think those ultra wide belts are really hiding her gut...no one wears that many wide belts on every freakin' outfit they own.

Adrienne- Here's a really good article regarding Obama's "change". I hope the GOP takes heed...they cannot get by with just saying no to him, they have to shine the light on his tactics or Obama will be winning back all those who have begun to turn their back on him and he will get the votes he needs to get his agenda pushed through.

I was just commenting on another blog where they were talking about a current Rassmussen poll that said 75% of Americans are frustrated with our government. And then somebody said that this is how revolutions get started. I believe, however, that the current American electorate are too lazy to start a "revolution". Their attention span is too short. They get frustsrated but all the politicians have to do is give a few pretty speeches and talk "tough" about how they are going to save America, and they have their followers lapping it up like thirsty dogs. Before you know it...tails are wagging and everything is good and they vote the same idiots in over and over and over again.
This is a very dangerous time in our country. Too bad we had to get the BAD first president of color.
It could have been so much better for all races if this POTUS was the right one.
