I spent 70 minutes of my life watching the excruciatingly boring speech given last night - one that could easily be called a campaign speech. The only jaw dropping moment was when he attacked the Supreme Court's recent decision striking down limits on corporate spending in election campaigns. Once again he highlighted his narcissism and, what could only be called, lack of class.
Allow me to sum it up:
- It's Bush's fault
- Blah, Blah, Blah
- Bankers and "rich" people are evil so we're going to tax them out of existence
- Blah, Blah, Blah
- He's going to help "small" business become "big" business so he can tax them out of existence
- Blah, Blah, Blah
- He's going to interfere even more in education
- Blah, Blah, Blah
- He's doubling down on health insurance reform
- Blah, Blah, Blah
- Aren't I great?
- and he finished with Blah, Blah, Blah

The sad thing, Duchess, is that you'll never get those 70 minutes back!
