So. B.O. thought the selection of Chicago for the 2016 Olympics was important enough that his personal attention was warranted. Off he jets to Denmark, don't even talk about carbon footprints to me, mine will be dwarfed for the next ten years against what his were for one trip.
But this was important dammit! More important than our wars in Iraq & Afghanistan (though he evidently met for 20 minutes with Gen. MacChrystal. Wow, 20 whole minutes.)more important than the healthcare debate, more important than addressing our still rising unemployment rate.
Nope, gotta go and make sure an athletic event that won't take place for six more years is slated for Chicago.
Then the fool can't deliver the goods.
Why should anyone be surprised?
This'll get me labeled a racist but regardless, I'll just say we're seeing what happens when affirmative action hiring is applied to the highest office in the land.

Well, the magic seems to be over, that's for sure. Overseas, Obama isn't playing any better than he is at home -- and perhaps worse. The French have turned on him, now the Olympic Committee.
Notice how even though everyone knew Tokyo was not going to get it, they (IOC) made a point of eliminating Chicago first? That's the world using the IOC to give him the middle finger salute...

(And for those who don't know me, I'm a born and raised Chicagoan and I never wanted this to be in our city. It would only have been money in the pockets of Daley's machine and the city would have been stuck with the bill. If Daley had spent the money he used for the bid of the Olympics (millions of dollars) he could have used it on more police for the crime that is killing our kids, transportation, schools, etc.
All these comments are PRICELESS! Big O's ego is (possibly) damaged (NOT!), and the rest of the world is putting him in his place....the whole scenario, the taxpayer's money being spent like this, on and on and on, I don't need to repeat anyone else's comments . . . it's just PITIFUL!
