Oh my...that clutter picture makes my skin crawl.

Like you...I hate clutter! It seemed to be a constant battle when my kids were all living at home, but now that I have the house to myself (and hubby) most of the time (when my son is away at college), I've been getting rid of more things every month. Thank goodness for St.Vincent DePaul Society!

I do have a daughter, however--the oldest daughter, who is the queen of clutter. I have the hardest time visiting her (she lives in PA) because the first thing I want to do is start cleaning off all the crap she has all over her kitchen counters. I don't know how she cooks in there (and she's a marvelous cook!) I have no idea how she finds anything.

I love what you did with your bathroom in the link you provided. Great idea! I watch that show, "From trash to treasure" all the time and that looks like something they would do. Great idea!

tech - I do too - sadly...

Larry - what's funny about this picture is right in the middle is a shopping bag from Contain Yourself. I'm thinking this is an organization type store.

MM - lots of folks live like this - only worse.

Did you ever see that woman on Oprah who was a pack rat? They found DEAD MICE buried in the rubble...ick!

wow, reminds me of a show I've been watching about people who have serious issues with getting rid of clutter and even pure junk and garbage, so sad.

I've been watching that show too, Tracy. "Hoarders." It is sad. So hard to understand why anyone would live in such squalor; it's a mental illness. It always makes me want to go throw stuff away!

Adrienne, I love your little bathroom counter screen--very clever.
