Good News, Bad News

*****The good news? I'm not past my "sell by" date. A tetanus shot, a shot of antibiotics plus a bottle of high test antibiotic pills will ensure that my hand will probably stay attached to my arm. (see previous post)

*****The bad news?? NO TYPING (except with one hand)!! I have to see him tomorrow morning to make certain an IV drip antibiotic is not needed.

Scandal at Notre Dame

The campaign to stop Obama speaking at Notre Dame commencement is gathering pace. Tonight over 45,000 people have signed the petition asking ND to disinvite this most pro- abortion President from speaking and receiving an honorary degree. read the rest at Father Dwight

Trolls

*****Some trolls out there in cyber-space are just the argumentative type that like to get comboxes all stirred up. Annoying, but basically harmless.

*****Then we have the really, really sick type. The one who likes to say vicious and weird stuff for no reason whatsoever. I have been "blessed" with such a troll. I also know this troll visits many of my friends and says ugly things. This person would have to be considered an "equal opportunity" sicko.

*****He/she obviously can't find enough to do in New Jersey (what's the matter, sicko - psyche ward full?), and so he/she can use their time trying to post comments that will never see the light of day. I particularly like the way he/she thinks it's very clever to use someone else's legitimate name such as, Father Tim Finigan, Joe of St. Therese, and even Jesus or God.

The comments log in from Englewood, New Jersey (sometimes Paterson, NJ) and the ISP is 71.251.47.75.

For your further elucidation, here's some more info:
pool-71-251-47-75.nwrknj.east.verizon.net

You see troll, you're not "invisible" on the net.

******Even though I rarely read such comments, and they are moderated right into the trash can, they still keep coming. So troll, next time you wish someone dead, or call them stupid, evil, or the myriad of other "cute" terms you use, you better think about your own mental health - which is precariously close to, if not already, certifiable.

Oh Dear - Poor you. Will be thinking about you. You'll probably feel really cr*ppy tomorrow. :(

Did you get snow today? It was even trying to snow in Lewiston. Luckily the roads were only sort of bad about 5 miles each side of "my" town.

Thanks packrat - this one handed thing is the pits

I've already hot packed it and it looks much better. Think it will be fine...

I'm just really tired from all the antibiotics. Off to bed soon

I'm not sure which saint to thank, but I've been protected thus far from any trolls. I'll thank Mary instead. Can't go wrong there!

Hope you recover soon!

I hope that 'cat scratch' heals quickly, and I hope your kitty doesn't feel too guilty.

God Bless

Thanks Larry and Lola

I think the high-test antibiotics are working already. It looks and feels better.

Larry - don't hold your breath on that troll thingy but do keep thanking Our Holy Mother....

He visits me too.

Terry - I'm going to keep my left hand (I think)

It's one thing for that weasel to leave comments for people that don't give a rip (like us), but he/she went after a new and very sweet blogger lady who wondered who this "Father Tim Finigan was - yada, yada. I explained to her and she now has comment moderation on.

This creep is a quarter step away from my calling the authorities....

Adrienne,

New Jersey is one large psych ward!!! (I used o live there, so I know of what I speak- the only good things that I found there were my frineds, my TLM parish, and my husband, Geoffrey) It is the water, believe me

so sorry to read about your hand Adrienne. I hope it heals quickly.

I originally put comment moderation on because of a troll. I don't get many these days but I still have comment moderation for the occasional troll that shows up.
