Did you know that is what they did at the White House during the first World War? The men had all gone off to fight, so the "goats did the mowing"... And then made dinner. Well, were made into dinner.
There is NOTHING wrong with letting cats do more in terms of chores and various household maintenance. If this means operating the lawnmower, so be it. I let the Critter drive my truck once in a while, but not when he's angry:0)
I saw a man in the middle of town the other day "herding" his goats to "mow" his grass. Me and the kids had a good laugh, but the price of gas keeps going up, having a goat mow would probably be more economical...and we'd get milk!
Simple Sinner - The people next door have two goats and there front acre is three feet tall. They finally borrowed a horse who chomped it all down in about two weeks. I don't keep the back portion (another two acres mowed.) We have a guy come in and mow the back of ours and Father Bill's property. I just mow the garden areas.
Tom - Critter never gets angry. I'm planning on getting another lawn tractor so the two cats can duke it out.
Scott - mow I have to look up your reference. Tooneses??? Hmmmmmmm - sounds good, though......
Terry - contact high!!!???? You are soooooooo funny!

Paula, you'd get fertilizer too! (Watch your step...)
When you get back will you post on what a "dry alcoholic" is? Is it like a contact high? If so - it would be a cheap drunk. Thanks.
Adrienne - I found a pretty good explanation here:
http://www.christianrecoveryministries.com/drydrunk.html
(Joy on The View always refers to Bush as a dry drunk.)
