What in hell is "gay history"

Each day the sun comes up and I say to myself, "surely the loony left can't possibly come up with one more crazy thing to do."  Guess what?  Everyday they manage to do just that.

CA Senate bill mandates gay history in schools 

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- Gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people would be added to the lengthy list of social and ethnic groups that public schools must include in social studies lessons under a landmark bill passed Thursday by the California Senate.

If the bill is adopted by the state Assembly and signed by Gov. Jerry Brown, California would become the first state to require the teaching of gay history. source

  And people send their kids to these "schools?"

I love the last paragraph of the AP article:

California law already requires schools to cover the contributions to the state and nation of women, African Americans, Mexican Americans, entrepreneurs, Asian Americans, European Americans, American Indians and labor. source

 So now we have to acknowledge contributions to history by people who have deviant sex?  What happens when you have a homosexual-Asian/Black?  What the hell category do you put them in?

and that should end the discussion.

But I'm sure on this morning's TV shows the talking heads will be at their sanctimonious best with the blah-blah this and blah-blah that.  Reason number 14,025 not to watch.  And after reading several hundred comments on the latest Yahoo article re: Giffords, I'm thinking the number of unhinged in this country is growing exponentially.
