Big Fur Hat, at iOwnTheWorld, posted his review just hours ago and gave it 4 1/2 "big fur hats" out of a possible five. That galvanized me into action and I quickly opened my copy. Due to my speed reading skills, I was able to finish the book in record time.
Dr. Haas has interviewed bloggers who would be considered by most, based on their daily hits, to be the "A-listers". Included are both conservative and liberal bloggers, weighted in favor of liberal. I don't really think that makes a big difference, and it was interesting to read the backgrounds of different people, their thoughts on blogging, and the pitfalls many face when entering this field.
Overall, if you've not been around the blogosphere very long, the advice given by this group of disparate bloggers will bring you some insight. An amusing aspect is the contradictory advice often given between one blogger and another.
As with all things having to do with blogging, do what you want. It is, after all, your blog.
Would I recommend this book? Why, yes - yes I would.
