This is my adaption of Psalm 143 from the Bible when David cried out while being chased by his enemies. I really hope this song will serve those who are suffering today and give them comfort and hope from the Lord. Simon Khorolskiy

Revenge is mine, saith the Lord...
I've no wish to disturb the peace of Sunday, so I'll just leave this here for your perusal and pondering.
Anyone who thinks they will escape the wrath of God is in for a nasty surprise.
Deuteronomy 32:31-35For our God is not as their gods: our enemies themselves are judges. Their vines are of the vineyard of Sodom, and of the suburbs of Gomorrha: their grapes are grapes of gall, and their clusters most bitter. Their wine is the gall of dragons, and the venom of asps, which is incurable. Are not these things stored up with me, and sealed up in my treasures? Revenge is mine, and I will repay them in due time, that their foot may slide: the day of destruction is at hand, and the time makes haste to come.
To no man rendering evil for evil. Providing good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as is in you, have peace with all men. Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord.

Dedicated to Lone Star Parson...
and all my readers.
Let's get this week started with the proper foundation for what is sure to be an upsetting time.
Lone Star Parson, a Brit and (holy) Anglican priest, living and serving Christians in Texas, loves (almost) all things Russian.
With proper thanks to Col. B. Bunny, who blogs with Francis Porretto over at Liberty's Torch, for posting this beautiful song by Simon Khorolskiy & Friends, aptly named Heaven is My Native Land.
Simon has a Youtube channel with many more wonderful songs. Stop over there and sample more of his work.
From his website:
My name is Simon, I am a singer based in Washington State, where I reside with my wife and 5 small children. Although I grew up in the United States, I was born into a Russian family that immigrated here in 1992 when I was two years old.
Music has always been an important part of my life. After our Lord saved me and I grew in my personal relationship with Him, He has blessed me with a passion to sing and compose music for His glory. It is a great honor and privilege to wake up every day and be able to make music for a living. I find great inspiration for new songs in the Bible, many of them have been born while meditating on God’s word. In addition, the Pacific Northwest is full of God’s majestic natural beauty that I feature in my videos. It continually motivates me to praise and worship the Creator.
