Join the NRA...

today.

As soon as I post this, I will head over to the NRA website and officially join.
HELP FIGHT THE SOCIALIST WAVE"President Trump's election, while crucial, can't turn away the wave of these new European style socialists bearing down upon us … How about Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Bill DeBlasio, Andrew Cuomo, Corey Booker, Christopher Murphy and Keith Ellison … they hide behind labels like 'Democrat,' 'left-wing,' and 'progressive' to make their socialist agenda more palatable, and that's terrifying."—Wayne LaPierre

We are not helpless in the current assault on our rights as citizens of the United States.

The vile leftist ideologues have placed their demon inspired sights on the National Rifle Association.

As Steve McCann pointed out in his article at American Thinker today:
The litany of major American companies severing their ties to the NRA continues to expand.  They are succumbing to the drumbeat of false accusations and hysteria ginned up by the left and its political arm, the Democratic Party, as well as the left's cohorts in the media.  The NRA has been in leftists' crosshairs for the past two decades.  However, the actual purpose of this targeting is far deeper than what the left proclaims to be its objective: the passage of "commonsense" gun laws and restrictions on gun ownership as an antidote to gun violence.
...

(emphasis mine)

The major tenets of their long-term strategy of ultimately controlling a potentially all-powerful central government in perpetuity are:
  1. The subtle but persistent annexation of the education establishment, thus creating succeeding generations of indoctrinated and ill educated voters.
  2. The stealth placement of true believers throughout the entertainment complex, transforming it into an instrument of socialist and anti-American propaganda.
  3. As a byproduct of transforming the education and entertainment establishments, the reshaping of the so-called mainstream media into another subsidiary of the left's propaganda leviathan.
  4. The takeover of one of the two major political parties.
  5. Undermining the religious foundation of the country and its cultural institutions by proclaiming a new panoply of rights as granted by the government.  Any opposition is to be ridiculed, intimidated, and if necessary threatened.
  6. The measured elimination, utilizing coercion and harassment, of all political opposition, particularly grassroots organizations representing a vast number of citizens that potentially stand in the way of the ultimate objective.

Protest and Russia fatigue...

I haz it.

And I bet most of the country does, too.

Every week it's some over-hyped group or another protesting, marching, and just generally making pests of themselves.  The Ladies Who March™ will be out today disrupting the lives of working Americans by snarling traffic from Virginia to DC.

And how about the latest outrage over the congressional dress code?  It seems Nancy Pelosi is all up in arms about having to cover the aforementioned arms.  And somehow it's all Paul Ryan's fault.

Did we elect these clowns to go to DC and argue about the clothes the women are wearing?  I approve of the dress code as it stands.  Just the thought of Nancy Pelosi in a sleeveless dress makes me quiver - and not with excitement.

The latest "Trump is in bed with Russia" crap is winding down.  Let's all have a wonderful weekend and rest up for whatever outrage the MSM gins up next week.

This weekend I plan to post on habits - both good and bad, and how to change the ones you don't like.

I have a fully loaded Kindle (currently reading a book about time perception), a library tote full of books, one used book I snatched up at the grocery store for cheap, a huge container of salad, and enough country style ribs whipped up in my Instant Pot (25 minutes to done) - all of which means I don't have to cook for at least two days.  Yay, me.

The Ladies Who March™ are getting ready to whip out their pink pussy hats and march against the NRA...

this upcoming Friday, 'cause the good Lord knows it's the NRA's fault that people are killing each other with guns in Chicago.

What triggered all of this newest outrage? An NRA ad with Dana Loesche which I just watched for the first time moments ago and posted below.

Women's March Statement from their Facecrap page:
We know that we are not safe. But we will not be intimidated into silence.
Recent actions of the NRA demonstrate not only a disregard for the lives of black and brown people in America, but appear to be a direct endorsement of violence against Women’s March leaders and all people exercising the constitutional right to protest. On July 14th, Women’s March and partners will mobilize a mass demonstration, again grounded in the principles of Kingian nonviolence, to denounce the false and intimidating rhetoric of hatred and send a clear message that our movement will proudly and bravely continue to strive for the respect of the civil and human rights of all people.

So somehow the NRA is responsible for 1,944 shootings in Chicago so far this year with 1,606 shot and wounded and 335 shot and killed.  If we look at the stats from 2015 we'll see that, when adjusted for population, some cities are even worse.

The top eight cities have a commonality in the number of black residents.  It's black people shooting other black people with guns that are, no doubt, not even legal.

A comment from an outraged feminazi on the Women's March Facecrap page:
The recent actions of the NRA demonstrate not only a disregard for the lives of black and brown people in America, but appear to be a direct endorsement of violence against all people exercising their right to protest (in particular this time Women's March leaders). I do not understand how some people do not see the point here. They would fight to their deaths to protect their right to carry a gun, but don't see the parity of defending their right to protest. We are all struggling to protect the same thing - our constitutional rights!

There ya have it folks - it's the NRA's fault, and by extension you, that black people are slaughtering other black people.  And somehow or anther the NRA is not defending their right to protest.

Listen up "ladies":  The NRA does not give a rip that you are going to gather in front of their headquarters tomorrow and then march seventeen miles to the Department of Justice in DC.  Protesters will have to hang out somewhere until the next morning for a rally at Justice.  Damn - that sounds like a great time in the heat and humidity of DC.

And further more, no one else cares either.  So knock yourselves out. Have a great time, go home and pat yourself on the back, have a soy latte in a cute little cafe, and commiserate about what a great job you're doing to stop violence.

You could make a bigger difference by staying home and doing something to serve your husband and your family - you know, sort of 1950's style.

Dopes.

Here's the NRA ad that set their little hearts a beating:

Biden: "If you need more than 3 rounds to hunt you're an embarrassment"...

and shouldn't be hunting in the first place.

Really, Joe?  You're a world-wide joke and you have the cojones to talk about "embarrassment."
