Need to boost your morals? - There's a pill for that...

and these people, in their overpriced amoral colleges, teach your kids?

First - I'm happy to report that the video I posted Saturday, THE GREAT RESET: Davos & the Plot to Cancel Trump...video, has gone viral with close to a million views.  This is a perfect example of all of us doing our small part to fight back against the demonic forces at work in the world by sharing important information with others - and I thank you. If you have not watched the video, please do.

I've been as busy as a flea at a dog park the past few days.

A trip to the emergency vet Sunday, where they now have a "transfer room."  You hook your sick frightened pet to a leash in a tiny little room and leave before the tech enters to snatch up your sick pet. Weird and (IMO) unnecessary.

On Monday I had a scheduled visit to our regular vet.  Same scenario at the vet, but done with more panache - which doesn't make it any less weird. Doggie is fine - his "mother" is worn out.

Wandering over to Ann Barnhardt this morning led me to the site, The Conversation, which presents itself as "academic rigor, journalistic flair." It is a terrifying look at what is really being taught in our universities since all the articles are written by professors from across the nation.

What makes it dangerous is the "journalistic flair" is commie propaganda wrapped in a thin veneer of "academic rigor."

The article Ann pointed to is Morality pills’ may be the US’s best shot at ending the coronavirus pandemic, according to one ethicist, written by an associate professor of medical ethics, humanities, and law at Western Michigan University.

Some snippets: My comments in red

"Democratically enacted enforceable rules – mandating things like mask wearing and social distancing – might work, if defectors could be coerced into adhering to them. But not all states have opted to pass them or to enforce the rules that are in place. So - now we're not only selfish, but also "defectors to the "common good"

My research in bioethics focuses on questions like how to induce those who are noncooperative to get on board with doing what’s best for the public good. To me, it seems the problem of coronavirus defectors could be solved by moral enhancement: like receiving a vaccine to beef up your immune system, people could take a substance to boost their cooperative, pro-social behavior. Could a psychoactive pill be the solution to the pandemic?  Now there's a moral solution to the perceived problem of us selfish, non-compliant, defectors. Do I really need to add /sarc?

It’s a far-out proposal that’s bound to be controversial, but one I believe is worth at least considering, given the importance of social cooperation in the struggle to get COVID-19 under control. No, it's not worth considering

(...)

Another challenge is that the defectors who need moral enhancement are also the least likely to sign up for it. As some have argued, a solution would be to make moral enhancement compulsory or administer it secretly, perhaps via the water supply. These actions require weighing other values. Does the good of covertly dosing the public with a drug that would change people’s behavior outweigh individuals’ autonomy to choose whether to participate? Does the good associated with wearing a mask outweigh an individual’s autonomy to not wear one?"  Even more "moral" solutions

I left the links in on purpose so you could see that there many more "reputable" sites that are just as subversive to freedom.

Do wander over and read the entire article and spend a few minutes looking about the site. And then reflect on why so many of your children return from college with the morals and thinking ability of your kitchen sponge. And then share the information.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Dr. Laura and Paul A. Rahe weigh in on the root of our problems...

and do it quite well.

Just this morning we were discussing Dr. Laura's opinion on divorced parents who, in her opinion, have no business getting remarried until the children are grown.  Just imagine being a kid whose parents have divorced and daddy goes on to remarry and father more children.  The "new" kids get a full-time daddy and they get an every other weekend daddy.  In a child's world, that's just not fair.  Heck, in anyone's world that's not fair.  Or mommy remarries and now they're subjected to living with some guy who's not their real daddy and who, as is often the case, is not very well liked.  And we wonder why these kids are alienated and generally unable to form good relationships?

What we have in this country is a moral problem.  This problem is the root of our financial problems. It's as simple as that.

Quote of the Day

From Paul Rahe's article:
Liberty requires a responsible citizenry, and the sexual revolution (very much like the drug culture, which was and is its Doppelgรคnger) promotes irresponsibility of every kind. It promotes dependence, and it fosters an ethos in which those who exercise the virtues fostered by the market are punished for doing so and in which those who live for present pleasure are rewarded.

Does the Left know anything about morality?

Only if it's a morality dreamed up in the furthest regions of their own brain - unaccountable to anyone or anything except to how they "feel."

They feel women should be able to kill their babies in the womb - after all, it is her body, isn't it? They feel  children born with disabilities should be euthanized, and that killing old people are both compassionate things to do.  They feel that people are a scourge on the face of our planet, and that animals have equal or greater "rights."  They are "spiritual, but not religious."

They truly are disgusting.  It's as simple as that.
