Former Federal Budget Director David Stockman: Budget deal a 'joke and betrayal'...(video included)

"It's the final surrender of the House Republican leadership to Beltway politics and kicking the can and ignoring the budget monster that's hurtling down the road."

Is there really anyone in this country that doesn't understand that the federal and state governments steal money from the producers and spend it on nonsensical programs, grants, and as a way to line their own pockets?

Just this morning, I read where the feds are handing out a grant of over 200K dollars to "study how kids order food in restaurants" in order to prevent obesity.   You may think 200K is a drop in the bucket in view of the fact that we are trillions of dollars in debt.  However, if you multiple that amount of money by hundreds of thousands it adds up to a real chunk of change.

And how about the billions of dollars being flushed down the toilet called Obamacare?  Last week, Sebelius announced the HHS was handing out another 55 million dollars of grant money to address worker shortages in the healthcare industry.
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced last week that her agency will provide over 270 grants “from diversity to dentistry” to address worker shortages in the healthcare industry.
The funding includes $45.4 million to support the nursing workforce, $5.2 million of which will go towards “improving nursing diversity.” source
Someone please explain to me what "nursing diversity" means.

So we have an already overburdened system with not enough doctors, and now we have a "law" which will make it worse, and their answer is to throw money at it?  They already spent over 500 million in 2009 as part of the "stimulus" to bolster up the medical profession.

And then we have Common Core which will spend billions of dollars to not educate the children

I could ask a 4th grader how to save money and come up with a better answer than these elitist snobs in Washington.  Billions of dollars are swept away into a plethora of rat-hole programs while the people who were elected to represent us line their pockets with our money.  Make no mistake that the people lining their pockets sit on both sides of the aisle.

The only way to stop this madness is to not participate.  I'm not talking about not voting.  To do that would, in my opinion, be a sin against the virtue of hope.  I'm talking about real life decisions that you will have to make for your future to protect yourself and your family.

There are thousands of people out in the blogosphere trying to tell you what to do. But you have to make your own decisions because to follow blindly what another is telling you is what got us into this pickle to begin with. Don't be a sheeple.

Read, study, and practice discernment in everything you do and you'll have a much better chance of weathering the storm that is going to erupt in this country.
