A Little Something for the Liberal Lurkers...

I've actually read the entire 2000 or so pages of this bill.  Some of it I even understood.  Read what Fortune Magazine has to say:

5 freedoms you'd lose in health care reform

NEW YORK (Fortune) -- In promoting his health-care agenda, President Obama has repeatedly reassured Americans that they can keep their existing health plans -- and that the benefits and access they prize will be enhanced through reform.
A close reading of the two main bills, one backed by Democrats in the House and the other issued by Sen. Edward Kennedy's Health committee, contradict the President's assurances. To be sure, it isn't easy to comb through their 2,000 pages of tortured legal language. But page by page, the bills reveal a web of restrictions, fines, and mandates that would radically change your health-care coverage.  read the rest and weep

 Repeal is the answer...

Repeal, stab the the thing with a wooden stake, then shoot it with a silver bullet....

Wow. We "learn what's in it" every day. I'm with QR and Randy-g. If the new Congress doesn't do everything possible to defund this beast before full-on repeal in '13, we are headed to pitchforks on the Mall.

That's a very straight-forward article Adrienne. We are, and rightly should be, petrified over this law. Judd Gregg said today we should restructure it, and not repeal it. The bad news is, he is from New Hampshire. That's why these races with Tea Party candidates are so important.

I'm weeping with you, Adrienne

Something that I get so tired of, Adrienne, is when I read the comments. This time on the actual article. The drones cannot think of anything substantial to say so they immediately attack the Christian for their stance against the bill. We are immediately supposed Christians because we do not support a take over of all of our freedoms. They are always using Jesus as their crutch, as if he were the first socialist. I get so angry I could spit nails.
I pray people wake up and vote in two weeks. This may be our only chance to make right some of what is so terribly wrong in our country.
Great post.

Well, I can't keep my insurance. I had called my insurance company beforehand so I was expecting this, but I got my letter on Monday making it official. My insurance company will no longer be selling my policy as the mandates have made it too expensive and the company realizes that no one will be willing and or able to afford it.

I admit that my policy wouldn't work for everyone, but it worked very well for my family. I was given some options for a new policy; all of which are more expensive.
