Sursum Corda

Lift Up Your Hearts*

For those of you in despair about what appears to be an unstoppable march of Socialism and the assault on our freedoms, take heart.  The battle has just begun and we will win.   Let the "demoncrats" have their little victory parties and do their little happy dance (on our dime.) Their own arrogance will be the biggest contributor to their own destruction.  Not only will we see Nancy Pelosi and her scummy friends driven from Washington, we will eventually see this malignant narcissist, who carries the title of President, impeached and disgraced.

Let's not spend time on what has happened, but focus on our next steps.  Elections have consequences.  The upcoming November bloodbath will tell a tale the demoncrats won't want to hear.  For all you who still think "conspiracy" is a bad word, wake up and take a gander at what transpired on a Sunday as the witching hour approached.  How appropriate.

Conspiracy is Not a Bad Word

From The Reaganite Republican:
[...]He must be resisted by the states, in the courts, on the net... and at the ballot box- as he will be. With Americans about to "find out what's in it" -and Obama's and the Dems' poll numbers already deep-cratered- let there be no doubt who's side time is on... the Left is in for a precipitous decline, starting right now.  read the rest

Priest:  The Lord be with you.
People: And also with you.
Priest:  Lift up your hearts. (sursum corda)
People:  We lift them up to the Lord.
Priest:   Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
People: It is right to give him thanks and praise.

Great Post Adrienne. I believe it was John Paul Jones who spoke the words, "I have not yet begun to fight". That must be our battle cry as we work toward defeating every demoncrat that voted for a bill that allows the murder of the most innocent of out citizens, the unborn!

It is imperative that the leader of this sinister plot to leave the unborn unprotected, Bart Stupak not only be unseated this fall but ostracized by the entire pro life and American community.

Please keep the heat on any and all demoncrats that voted for this horrible bill.

Respectfully,
Pops from Conservative Outrage

Encouraging, Adrienne, thanks! Have you seen http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/21/opinion/21holtz-eakin.html ? See if it's worthy of a post ... I have had a difficult time understand this massive book of crap and the NYT breaks it down into a language that I can comprehend.

I live in Alabama. NONE of our representatives voted "yes" ... and we are one of nearly ever state in America, less a hanful, who have vowed to enact amendments to our state constitutions that "opt out" of participating in this effort to shove socialism down our throats when they can hear all of us screaming NO NO NO!!!

Thank you, Democrat Party, for all you have done to place America in the most vulnerable position in history. The world is watching; who'll be the first to launch attacks on us in our weakend state?

PRAY PRAY PRAY!!

I can't wait until the next election, and thank you for this post. I feel a little better now. It was a rough morning.

Thanks, Adrienne,

It's times like these that I feel especially sorry for atheist conservatives and limited government types: if I thought that this was all there is, and that the bastion of freedom that our Founding Fathers was no more, well, I might be in serious despair. But, my Catholic faith tells me that I ought not to put my trust in princes, but to look to God -- and that is a comfort.

Another comfort is to think about Spring. Adrienne, I'm going to need more daylilies!!
