And finally - for the past two weeks I've been outside cleaning gardens, trimming trees, and other spring related tasks. Today? We're having a "last blast of winter storm" with gale force winds, blowing snow, and cold temps (16° right now). Not to worry. Our wood stove is chugging away, my Kindle is stocked up, the pantry is full of food, and we have lots of toilet paper. By Monday the sun will be back and we'll be back in the high 50's.

Illinois House Bill 2495 and Senate Bill 1942,misnamed the Reproductive Health Act, include so many harmful provisions the full effect of these bills can hardly be imagined. We know the legislation:
-seeks to define abortion as health care and a fundamental right;
-removes abortion clinics from a regulatory framework designed for significant medical procedures;
- attacks a carefully constructed agreement in law on how hospitals care for the victims of sexual assault;
-repeals the ban on partial birth abortion;
-repeals legal protections for doctors and hospitals who decline to participate in abortions;
-requires private health insurance in Illinois to fully cover the cost of abortion;
- removes the requirement that only doctors can perform abortions;
as well as many other changes that in totality require us to treat abortion as a celebrated right instead of a heart-wrenching tragedy.
Illinois House Bill 2467 and Senate Bill 1594seek to repeal the Parental Notice of Abortion Act.
What is this "seamless garment theory" and why is it important. Based on John 19:23:
When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.
I have no desire to go into a lengthy discussion of the seamless garment argument in defense of abortion. The seamless garment essentially lumps all "life issues" - poverty, homelessness, health care, war, capital punishment, and abortion as equal to each other. The pro-death folks unwittingly use this theory to defend the killing of babies in the womb.
For instance, a child who is going to be born into poverty would be better off being killed since the pro-abortion peeps think pro-life people don't care about the hungry baby after he or she is born. Or, it's okay to kill a baby since we execute criminals.
The meme to the right is a perfect example of seamless garment thinking. Obviously, the issue of seamless garment is a bit deeper and I suggest that you do some research on your own because you're going to hear this sort of rhetoric from pro-abortion people all the time.
So now we have self-professed "devout" Catholic Pelosi, elected by her constituents to represent them, who stands around, no doubt drugged to the gills, in order to blah blah for 8 hours about protecting illegals.
And yet, this "devout" Catholic, supports a "woman's right to choose" to kill her baby. It' a form of seamless garment going on here. What's she's actually saying is that illegals not being able to stay here is just as important as killing babies.
Her logic is so faulty (nonexistent?) that she's incapable of realizing that her seamless garment theory actually supports abolishing abortion since it's equal in injustice to deporting illegal aliens. And since we can't as good Christians deport illegals, what follows, for anyone who has more than three black eyed peas rattling around in their skull, is we shouldn't be able to kill babies. Isn't equality great?
And the gall of that woman to invoke the image of her two rosaries, blessed by Popes, to make her case. Note to Nancy - I have a rosary blessed by a Pope and merely having it hasn't made me one bit holier - and neither have yours. Which brings me to the Women't March pink pussy hat wearing hate group.

A bizarre spectacle unfolded this week in a federal district courtroom in Austin, Texas, where a group of abortion providers argued they shouldn’t have to kill a fetus before dismembering it in its mother’s womb, and the state argued that they should.
At issue is a state law passed earlier this year, Senate Bill 8, that would ban live dismemberment abortions. A live dismemberment abortion is exactly what it sounds like: a doctor uses forceps to tear apart a live fetus, limb by limb, and remove it from the mother’s uterus. This is usually done in the second trimester, when the fetus is too large to be suctioned out.
The law in question wouldn’t ban such a procedure, but it would require abortion doctors in Texas to ensure that a fetus is dead before they dismember it. The case, Whole Woman’s Health v. If you watched the debate, there is no reason for me to insult your intelligence by telling you what was said. It's one of my pet peeves with talking heads who, after any event, jump in to explain what I just heard. And if you were unlucky enough to have been watching the CNN feed, the chatter was so anti-Trump as to be laughable.
Aside from Clinton's right eye going wonky (you had to really be looking for it), I noticed a difference in the mics. Don't you find it odd that didn't have the same mic?
Second, they had some sort of filter on Hillary to make her look more healthy. Notice in this picture that her suit, which was white, looks almost peach colored while Trump's white shirt still looks white.
I just happened to be watching the feed on CNN and have no idea if all feeds looked the same.

Clinton said it's important to have more gun restrictions to "protect the toddlers" (huh?), but a baby can be ripped apart at 8 months 29 days in the interest of "choice" for the mommy.
There is absolutely no reason for an abortion at almost the time of birth to "protect the health of the mother." None.
