was a special guest of Obama for the SOTU address.
She was there to cheer on her hero, Barack, "I Care About the Middle Class Americans", Obama.
When her husband Steve Jobs died, his assets were approximately 8.3 BILLION.
And she has the unmitigated gall to call for higher taxes on the rich? How about this, "Miss Care About the Middle Class", Laurene. Why don't you voluntarily relinquish all but a million or so of your fortune for the good of the country?
Didn't think so...

I'm a martyr...
I sat through the entire SOTU address.
I was rewarded by this:
Gleefully stolen from Doug Ross - and we thank him.

What's the real state of the union?...
certainly not the one you'll hear about tonight.
The questions to ask yourself before tonight's SOTU:
How many times tonight will you hear the words?:
1. fair or fair share
2. good jobs
3. middle class
4. equal
5. his long drawn out annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd
How much class envy will he breed?
Who or what will be blamed for everything (including sun-spots?)
Thanks to McNorman for this link. To quote her, "Read it all, don’t skip over anything." I might add, after you read it all - re-read it. We thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tickerguy's State Of The Union Address
My fellow Americans;
Four years ago, on this day in 2008, Bear Stearns stood on the edge of collapse. We did not know this, of course, as other than their two hedge funds' failure their internal condition was hidden -- by the company and by the regulators who were charged with keeping our financial system safe.
Over the next six months we came close to losing America.
Today, we're not in much better shape.
We have failed to address the first, and only, reason we find ourselves mired in an economic situation where we cannot grow and we cannot prosper. Where The Senate has failed to pass a budget for nearly three years. Where The House has proved unable to put forward a set of spending and revenue bills that balance.
The reason for our economic malaise, for the near-collapse in our economy in 2008 and the inability to exit the job recession of the last four years is that those who you vote for are incapable of telling you the truth. read the rest
