The Idaho police join the miles long procession from Spokane at Pleasant
View Ave just east of State Line, Idaho to welcome back home Sgt Greg Moore of Coeur
d'Alene, Idaho, killed in the line of duty this past Tuesday.
Thursday morning, dozens of police officers and firefighters from
throughout Spokane and Kootenai counties escorted the officer’s body back
from Spokane, where an autopsy was performed Wednesday.

Service Saturday
A
large crowd is expected for Saturday’s funeral for Coeur d’Alene police
Sgt. Greg Moore. The service will begin at 10 a.m. at Lake City High
School, 6101 N. Ramsey Road, in Coeur d’Alene.
• SWX/Spokane will air the funeral coverage live from 10 a.m. to noon.
• At North Idaho College, several screens televising the
service will be made available in the student union building, which will
open at 9:30 a.m.

Jonathan Daniel Renfro will be tried for murder in the shooting death of Coeur d’Alene police Sgt. Greg Moore.
Kootenai
County Public Defender John Adams, who is representing Renfro,
confirmed that charges have been updated to include first-degree murder.
Prosecuting attorney Barry McHugh filed an amended complaint in the
case Wednesday but wouldn’t comment on the new charge, and court
officials would not release the documents Thursday.
Renfro, 26,
was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly shot Moore, stole the officer’s
patrol car and led police on a chase through Post Falls. Moore died
later that day.
Anyone convicted of murdering a police officer in Idaho is eligible for
the death penalty. McHugh has yet to say if he intends to seek the death
penalty in the case.
